I used this app once before and had problems getting it off of my phone once I got home. However the service was great during my time in Costa Rica so I made the mistake of getting it again. Now not
only did I have bad data service the customer support is literally nonexistent. Big mistake! So sorry I didn’t get a service with a better rating!

As a traveler, a working eSIM is a requirement and it’s more than convenience it’s an issue of safety. The eSIM I installed didn’t work and I had to keep contacting customer service for help. “Hey remember me the person who is halfway around the world from home who needs to be able to communicate…” After trying for a couple days I just deleted the eSIM and will try with a different company. Very disappointed.

Purchased a Japan pass and the speeds are unusable and worse than the speeds provided by primary carrier T-Mobile which limits to 256kbps. Couldn’t even use their own app to send a message to support about the issue - that’s how bad it is. Will never use them again.

I bought 10gb for my recent 1 week trip to Japan. The data worked on the first day, then abruptly became unusably slow-- could not use Google maps or even do a basic Google search. I contacted customer support and was told there wasn't enough coverage available, with no ETA on a fix. I requested a refund for the remainder of my plan as the data was not working, but was denied due having already used some data on the first day. I ended up having to find and pay for another data provider for the remainder of my trip, which worked great with no issues. Would highly recommend people to look into other providers that are comparatively priced, but are more reliable and have better customer support. I used docomo through Japan Communication Inc. (~$13 for 9gb) and my sister used airalo with no issues.

I should’ve read the reviews before purchasing, but it seems like there is a recurring issue where after the first day the cellular gets extremely slow. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and they have been unable to fix the issue. Finally, they said it was an issue with coverage on their end and they would send me an email about when it will be fixed. It was never fixed. Customer service was quick to respond and polite. However, their service simply does not work!

DO NOT purchase this until you have done your research. Unfortunately I made the mistake of purchasing this first and then when I tried to install it, I found I was unable to do so since my cell phone provider wouldn’t unlock my phone unless I paid off my device in full.

Additionally, I tried to give this to a friend who installed it and then lost her device. Once someone installs it (even if it hasn’t been activated), there is no way to retrieve it.

Overall I don’t trust this company and I’m assuming there are additional scenarios like the above that will prevent you from actually using the service while they just take your money.

They should be more transparent with all of this information before you are allowed to make a purchase.

I recently used the this app eSIM service during my trip to Korea. While the service offers affordable prices and easy setup, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of 5G connectivity and the slow 4G speeds. This made it nearly impossible to use the internet for anything other than basic tasks like sending text messages. I would not recommend this service to anyone traveling to Korea who relies on fast and reliable internet access.

So slow (throttled) that it is barely usable. Takes more than a minute to download a normal WhatsApp photo, maps take a long time to load, searching is painfully slow, etc. I contacted tech support to make sure the settings were all correct by sending them screenshots. Slow speeds continued. When I asked to cancel and for a refund they said they could not because I had used more than 1% (I had used 6%). Not worth it for use in Spain (Madrid).

The eSIMs I purchased through Saily did not work. It worked in Hong Kong but was terrible in Vietnam and Singapore. Customer service was terrible as well. Don’t expect a rapid response. There reasons for poor data service in Vietnam and Singapore was due to lack of 5g infrastructure and congestion. I bought eSIMs from Airalo app while in these countries and I had zero issues. I continued to purchase from Airalo for other Asian countries during my trip. Don’t waste your money or time with this app.

Be aware other providers have plans allowing you to have phone number and data plan for different countries in Europe. this app only provide services for ONE country and only with data plan. No refund if you use more than 1% data.

(Should have record my data usage) Somehow I also feel like the usage rate is faster then it should be, cannot provide proof. Just something to look out for.

Will go with European telecom services going forward.

I purchased this one to get fast internet speed. Before I made the purchase and did a speed test, it showed over 100m down. But after I made the purchase, the speed went down to under 1m.

This looks like a scam and would not recommend!!!!

Lacks efficient, customer support for navigating problems and challenges with the SIM card. In fact, the chat bot said that it will connect me to a live person, and after several minutes no one ever came when I attempted to continue to communicate with the chat bot it ceased responding

Have successfully used a number of apps for track eSIM’s, with this one being the worst experience. Installed and activated, and then once in country was unable to get a signal (the Philippines). Read and reread the directions confirming all was done correctly, still to no avail. Airalo is better.

Decided to give them a shot since it’s slightly cheaper than Airlo but it was money down the drain. The service in Japan was so slow it was not reliable at all. Ended up having to uninstall and go back to Airlo. Very disappointing from Nord.

Spend time with support on this, needed to reset almost daily or restart via airplane mode… consistently 1-2 bars of connection on my iPhone 13, my other phone had a different eSIM provider, both of them used Globe, my other phone consistent with LTE or 5G

Used a promotional offer to get the 5GB data plan in Karachi. Upon activating the eSIM after reaching I am getting 3G speeds of 0.01 Mbps and no luck talking to an agent. Will have to find another option:(

I reached out to customer support via App chat and after an hour of troubleshooting gave up.

Do not waste your money. This is the worst place to buy your ESim. connection is really really bad. You won’t be able to use it at all. I contact them many times Customer Service could not help either.

I live in Singapore and in a few weeks planned to travel in Asia so purchased a month long Asia regional SIM plan. Saily notified me that I could install the SIM on my phone but it would not activate or start the plan until I wanted it too. I realized a week later that the plan had already activated and my month long timer had started. I did not tell Saily to activate my plan. After consulting support, I learned that the plan had activated because I am in a country supported by my plan. I have a physical SIM for this country so did not intend to activate my E-Sim. My plan is now mostly used up despite using zero of the data and never turning it on in my cellular data settings. This is incredibly frustrating and unfortunate.

It does not show me a ticket ID. I messaged customer support through Saily starting at 2:10 on August 31 and messaged with Cole Davis.

Stay away this is a waste of money, I bought one of Sailys data plans while in the Philippines, the eSIM was able to install, But the data plan never Activated it just stayed as Inactive. Horrible customer service it takes them 10 plus hours to respond to email they don’t give you a real solution. Plain out horrible experience.

The service does not work, at least in Thailand. I literally got stranded because I couldn’t get service for a taxi or even maps and had to find my way back in the dark with no connection. I contacted support to help me and they told me to delete the sim and redownload it and now there is absolutely zero connection and the sim won’t even download. Saily support will not refund me or even resolve the issue.

Does not work on iPhones. I purchased the 7 day plan, and found out it didn’t work. No obvious message that it does not work with iPhones. Incredibly deceptive and predatory. Disgusting business practices

I am using this for my trip to Japan but the speed is so slow that it even has issue loading google map. I talked to their tech support and they told me they only have up to 3G speed for Japan. It is disappointing coz Saily never state that anywhere in the purchase flow. Should I have known that I will just pay a little extra to get a better service else where.

Saily is fine but the data leaves much to be desired compared to the competition. When Nord bought Saily the offered me, an existing Nord customer, 5GB free. I was heading to Japan so this was too good of an opportunity to pass up. However, after just under half a GB of use I gave up and switched to Nomad. My email client wouldn’t work (send or receive) and when I did get data is was extremely slow. I have had none of those issues while in country. I’ll save it in case I need a bit more before I leave but I hope I don’t need it.

lots of competitors have better rates that can get you across europe, they do not offer this, save your time if you are looking to be roam.

Tl;dr: I could not connect to data on my last day in Japan trying to navigate to the airport, and this app basically told me I was out of luck and on my own.

Be me, navigating complicated train systems in Japan for 8 days. this app, cute interface design and pretty decent connection during the first 7 days. Sometimes randomly spotty connection, reset iPhone, no more problem. (Albeit annoying)

On last day going to airport, no data. Contact this app support, tried many solutions, still no data. Told me “Oh, that’s unfortunate, as we seem to have exhausted all of the available options [we will get back to you in a day with a solution]”

Used ATT international roaming instead.

Lesson learned: Trust track record not chic design when buying internet plans.

I received a voucher from Nord so I decided to use it instead of my normal esim service provider on an upcoming trip to Vietnam. App seems to do exactly what it has to.

The esim however hardly worked.

This forced me to go with my normal esim provider which worked flawlessly. I can’t say that the issue is necessarily with this app - maybe with there Vietnamese network partner

I bought an eSIM for the first time and after looking online, decided to give this app a shot. At first, it was easy—setup, worked instantly, no connection issues. I bought 10GB for 30days. 13 days in, I couldn’t use my data. I checked my mobile usage period on my phone and it said I’d used 7GB. When I was able to get on WIFI to talk to a service agent, they said it had expired with no way to check or track from their app. I hadn’t used all my data and my days hadn’t expired so this was unsettling as I needed my phone for the last two days of my trip. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend it. They’re off to a great start but there’s room for improvement.

i had a problem with the esim card because i didn’t know my phone had to be paid off before i could use the esim. i messaged the customer service and i got a response from a human in 2 minutes and i was able to get a refund! great customer service! Saily is user friendly too.

I’m staying in Guatemala for 3 weeks and this eSIM has been a life saver! Anytime I have traveled abroad before I’ve had to buy a physical sim and it’s always been a long, annoying process and many times it doesn’t work at all! I didn’t have to go to a bodega to get a physical sim or keep track of my original sim for the duration of my trip. The instructions were so clear it took me less than 10 minutes to activate. So far I’ve had great service everywhere, seems like they utilize Claro for 5g connection. Highly recommend.

I am using this for the first time in USA . So many e-sim are available these days that it becomes very difficult to choose one. I am happy that I selected this app as its excellent right from purchase to installation to data everything is superior quality without any difficulty whatsoever. Please keep it up guys

SO EASY! Smooth activation! I literally landed and push the button in this app app and they do everything else! Connected in a few minutes. LOVE this app and love Saily. And the prices are so competitive (compared to Colombia, Ecuador, US, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, EU) compared to buying local SIMs (at locals prices) I’ll never have to do that ever again!

I have used this app in the UK and here in the US. I was able to use all my apps like WhatsApp, Google Maps, Safari, Google Voice.

I have recommended to several friends who have traveled and they also like the eSIM options. Instructions for setting up is super easy and in most places I had plenty of bars and reliable data.

iPhone IM works as well. My carrier charges me by the mega byte overseas which cost would have been exorbitant so this was a great option.

I had to contact customer service through Saily and they were super helpful.

Referral program is good as well.

Surprisingly easy to download and use! I was sure I’d have to fumble with a temporary physical SIM card. But this is all done through an app. $25 is covering 10 days of fairly heavy usage, including some Netflix.
