The best way to choose the best photo is to switch between two photos to immediately see the differences between them. And when you put two almost identical photos in front of each other, it turns into a game of finding a million subtle differences — this is the most stupid and inconvenient way. It's strange that he came to someone's mind. And the application does not analyze your library and does not offer to process similar photos — you will have to find and mark them to add manually. But it is not worth doing this, since the method of choice is stupid and inconvenient.

Also it needs the ability to ignore a stack

It’s a great app, but I really want to use it on my larger iPad screen rather than my tiny phone screen.

This is a helpful utility to compare photos. Thanks for creating it! One feature request would be an option to keep more than one photo in the series. I have run into a few situations where the photos are different enough that I want to keep more than one. Also if there was a way to ignore or mark series as reviewed, that would clear the screen and make sorting through new photos that come in easier.

It’s delightfully great for culling.
Automatically detects clusters of photos, and lets you select the best of the bunch.
But what if you want to keep more than one? Simple, just skip.
Unfortunately, skip doesn’t have a speedy button at the bottom. It’s hidden under the triple dots. And that’s the thing that would bump this to five stars: embrace a flag-skip-reject cull.

This is perfect for me! I’m terrible at curating my photos after I’ve shot them, so this helps me clean up space.
One feature request though: I should be able to save multiple photos from a series, if I choose.

Great app which is terribly needed! One feature request would be to add an ignore rest button. If you’ve already found the best pick, you should not need to go through all the other candidates to reach the delete step.

Apple should purchase Photoscope. It’s awesome!

I have been taking thousands of photos for years. My friends and family have always complained that I never share them. Well, 75% of them are awful and I have had the intention that one day, I’d go through them, make albums and ‘clean’ out the duplicates, blurry and poorly lit images. I never had.
this app is changing that!
I have started with a trip I took 10 years ago with my elderly parents. It’s ten years later, but this Mother’s Day, my mom is going to get to relive some precious memories.
Thank you, this app!

What a great idea for an app! Very well executed as well.

The core idea is well executed and seems like more features are on the way. I love the hidden swiping gesture to swipe on the photos to keep and discard. Is like tinder for your photos 🙃

I have looked for a tool for comparing and removing duplicate photos for years. Nothing else compares at all.

I use a mirrorless camera and will sometimes take a *few* too many photos at the same time, often trying to capture just the right shot. I’ve looked all over for an app that directly integrates with my Photos Library and allows me to pick the best photo(s) from a bunch. Photoscope does the job really well, and I am excited to see how Photoscope gets even better with further development. Mac and iPad apps would be amazing; I hope they are on the road map!

Excellent app. Something that my family and I have desperately needed to weed through all of our photos. Great design and intuitive. Would love the chance to not delete all rejected photos but save 3 or 4 but other than that, it’s great!
