I downloaded and set to three people to redeem my referral (because I do not want to spend money on this) and after taking my pictures, the scan has been stuck on 91% consistently for hours. I’ve reinstalled Umax various times restarted my phone etc and it is still yet to go past 91. It will start at 60(not 0) and end at 91 and then nothing. I’ll change the review if this bug fixes.

I was given high scores overall. 84 potential. The analysis is what I had a problem with. I have extremely narrow eyes (like Asians) and was analyzed as “round eyes”. I checked the pictures I uploaded and my eyes did not appear round at all. I have tested my face shape multiple times and have matched up as “diamond” or “triangle/heart”. Umax analyzed me as “square”. Again, upon looking at the picture, it just doesn’t seem accurate. I am also diagnosed with rosacea on my skin, am quite pale and have bruises under my eyes and yet received a score of “81” under “skin”. To my knowledge and experience looking at other results, 81 is very high. Again, this doesn’t seem accurate at all…

I recently downloaded this app with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Where do I even begin? First off, the interface is clunky and outdated, making navigation a headache. It feels like I’ve been transported back to the early 2000s.

But wait, it gets worse. Umax constantly crashes, leaving me frustrated and unable to complete even the simplest tasks. And don’t even get me started on the customer support – nonexistent would be an understatement. I tried reaching out for help with a technical issue, but it was like shouting into the void.

To top it all off, the promised features barely work, if at all. I might as well have flushed my time and data down the drain by downloading Umax. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this app. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.

Advertisement for Umax just seems to straight up insult people, call them ugly, and then recommend their own app. But for Umax itself it’s completely inaccurate and lazy work. easy to bug out and crash. and when Umax actually works it just pops up random numbers i submitted the same picture 3 times and almost every time a different number trying to get me to buy products they don’t sell.

Here’s what i think Umax is about:
I think the products they try to tell you to buy wants to get your clicks on the link because they make money over the fact you bought the product from the link you clicked. A little like drop shipping. Wait no EXACTLY like drop shipping. So please please please don’t buy into the model of Umax because i guarantee you could find actual helpful advice from a real professional or a reputable source.

Paid to see the results. Waited 10 minutes for it to still say loading. I then closed Umax and whenever i open it back up it instantly crashes and closes. I deleted and reinstalled and when I log back in it instantly crashes and closes Umax . Im going to be requesting a refund and i wont change this review either way because this is honestly the worst experience ive ever had with an app.

From my point of view, I will not pay money for something that does not show me content. The application gives you two options: pay or publish three of your friends. I chose to publish three of your friends, and then it did not allow me to try it. The application aims to sell products. Other than that, you save time and data, and it is possible to use your face through artificial intelligence.

It seems as if Umax forces you to pay. After you take the pictures it will ask you if you would either like to subscribe or invite three friends to see results. If you do not want to WASTE MONEY on a small app you would obviously pick the invite option right? Well yeah, but when you do that, it does not work. Umax is a huge scam. It kinda made me uneasy because now Umax has my email and photos. Please review before downloading.

Sure Umax itself is free, but if you actually want to use it you have to pay for a subscription. Deceptive, sneaky, and I’m not paying for something before I know how well it works. Tbh I wouldn’t even have left a review if they were straightforward about there being a paywall but they wait until after you submit all your photos for analysis to tell you it’s actually a subscription service. Wins the most deletable app on Umax Store of 2024.

Such a pointless app, something only used as a joke or entertainment shouldn't be allowed to be this bad this genuinely holds some kind of record..😭 Umax asks u to pay and when u do it just kicks you out repeatedly so its just a scam, and the fact that the developers aren't even replying or doing anything about the negative reviews is just crazy.. u could've gotten ur money either way just make ur app work, give people their money back☠️☠️

Download is free but you have to pay 3.99 a week or invite 3 friends for Umax to actually work. I invited friends and it didn’t work, basically forcing me to pay, whcih I refuse because such an app can’t be very accurate anyway, I just downloaded for fun. If sharing doesn’t work unless they download Umax , that should’ve been clear from the start. Umax is a scam and I’ll be deleting it.

Why do I even have to pay just for them to rate my face, especially when it’s probably gonna turn out bad. These past few weeks I haven’t even been able to tell how I ACTUALLY look like. People are so judgemental these days and I just want to know how I really look like, I don’t even have money on this phone. I mean I do, but I don’t have a credit card on this phone. Now I have to pay for results that may not even be accurate or good advice for me.

Bro.. who needs an app to tell them how pretty they are or what their “potential” is? I only got it cause when I saw it rates you that made me laugh. Everybody is built different and has different facial structure. I can’t change my face shape I was born the way that I am. My eyebrows are not bushy they’re actually very light in color and not big so it’s not like I can go get them done because I don’t got much to work with. It’s apps like this that make you insecure and not only that but on their insta they just post random girls that are beautiful up to their standards and say that if you get on Umax you can potentially look like them which is completely bull. They also scam you for this low budget app. If you want real advice I suggest real people that can look at you with their eyes like a hair dresser, someone who works at Ulta or a skincare store, and ask them what would be good for you honestly. Don’t waste your money. Whoever is reading this is beautiful just they way you are it’s ok if you have a soft jawline and it’s not sharp like other people’s, and it’s ok if your eyelashes don’t curl or if your face is not symmetrical.

so you probably asking yourself why read Umax one star so basically I downloaded Umax and then I took the picture of myself like it told me, but I had I need it for free so I invited three friends right and it still wouldn’t let me go through so that’s exactly why I read Umax one star horrible because of that reason it only let you go through only you pay like $10 a month. I wanted to experiment Umax but it is not working at all. I downloaded Umax , paid for the week, took my pics for a scan and it’s just stuck “processing image” it does not do anything. I’m being kind of hasty at the moment because I’m obviously an upset, paying customer. I sent an email to the developers for assistance, and I’ll reconsider my review if I receive a word back

I tried scanning my stuff didn’t even pop up and you have to share it with 5 friends WHICH I DID and it still didn’t even pop up what the point of making a site where you have to share it with friends to see your results and you can’t even view it when you share it. This site is full of FRAUDS

I couldn't even use it. I proceeded to the scan and then he asked to pay for the pro version. I made my purchase but during the scan he said that it would take 2 minutes. Well, a good time passed and nothing restarted the application and then it didn't let me enter or uninstall it and reinstalling it worked. I would like to get my money back to see if that application really works

in order to use Umax’s main feature u need to sign up for a subscription of $3.99 week. can’t recommend spending that much on just analysis. the ui is actually really clean and the “look's-maxing” tips are pretty helpful too but that subscription js ruins it tbh.

I knew something was up when Umax asked me to rate it before I used it. As soon as I took the photos I was almost forced to pay $13 a month. I think they should limit the amount of uses of the features in Umax then charge for more uses.

You can upload any photo and it’ll still give results. Then it only allows you to use it ONCE a week and have to pay next week to use it again. Wth!!! I dont even think the results are real. This is a fake app apple shouldnt allow this scam

I found Umax from TikTok. I download it and put some info in. They ask me to rate Umax before even finishing the setup (weird) but whatever. I finished setting up just to have to pay for it. They purposely ask for ratings before you get access cause they know people are not buying the stupid subscription

Umax takes the photos that you put in and then holds you on a paywall. Umax does not let you remove your photos whatsoever and forces you to either pay for a weekly subscription or delete Umax . Absolutely ridiculous. Put the fee first before people upload photos of themselves or their friends.

The first time I tried this, the AI said that my obvious positive candle was neutral, and that with no UEE it was pray eyes it also stated that I had a round head shape when I do not.
Another problem that I have with this is that if you take bad pictures, you are not able to update these pictures for a week.
Do not recommend. It’s not like the ads on TikTok.

16$ a month charge was wild but thought I’d try it out. Umax does give you tips on what you should be doing to improve yourself daily but to pay that much it should come with a much detailed routine instead of a few tips a day. I thought the face scans would be a daily thing but you can only do them once a week unless you want to pay an extra charge. They offer another face scan to see your 10/10 self but costs 6.99$ to do. Good for some but you can easily find this information in more detail for free on the internet.

Umax charges you 4 dollars a week for only one scan of your face per week and if you want to have an extra one you gotta pay another 4 dollars. It gives you solid advice on improving you self but nothing more than a few searches on the internet where I could find more useful info, the rating system I would assume is not that accurate, simply because its rating by AI but then again I don’t know, it’s a very decent app and I wouldn’t pay for it

To start off, i don’t think the apps idea is terrible. I think they have the right idea of helping people look their best, but the whole reason people pay for Umax is for the rating, which just spits out random descriptions of your face. I tried the same picture 3 times, and every time i got something different. If your looking for tips to glow up, honestly just identify them yourself because 4 dollars a week is not worth it.

Alright, so Umax itself works fine but it is just super weird because you have to invite 3 friends or PAY MONEY just for an app to tell you how attractive you are and it’s probably not even that accurate like I’m not gonna pay money for something like this. I didn’t even get to the scanning part because of this. being attractive isn’t based on “facial harmony” or whatever, it’s based on how the opposite or same sex finds you appealing to look at and you don’t have to look like chico lachowski for that.

4 bucks a week and they only let you take a picture every week. 4 dollars for each picture… if you could take multiple photos one after another, I’d say Umax would be worth it. But 4 dollars a photo is absolutely outrageous.

In order to use Umax you must pay five dollars a week but what they don’t say is that with that five dollars you only can use Umax once a week if you want to use it more than once a week you need to pay an additional five dollars per scan so basically every scan is five dollars

I haven’t use Umax for many weeks and I got three time charges without my permission, just automatically charges. Which isn’t really fair because I didn’t use for many weeks and pocketing yourself with my money. I want get my money back which lost for around 15 dollar. Umax is decent overall, but if you want to do more than ONE scan, then reach back into your wallet. The rating is overall decent but IMO it is too generous when giving out ratings. It will give an average looking person a 70-80 when average should be 50. Mid mid mid app

While I think Umax is cool I wish it was more detailed. When you go to “your analysis” it tells you what your eye shape is and other stuff like that, but it doesn’t give you any details on why that is, or what it means. I think if it went more in detail and possiblyeven cropped the photo and zoomed in to show you that’d be a very neat thing to see.

Umax is useful and great, the only thing that you need to keep in mind is that this ISNT a real person. don’t get sad if you get a lower score, and Umax can help you, but isn’t always perfect. (i literally got a 92 on skin and it still told me to “GET RID OF ACNE 😭”) Overall, i think the tips are helpful, but the way they rate your face in a numerical system only hurts people instead of helping. ;)
