I came to BALAAI because the ad that I saw was claiming to be a competitor to C.AI. In a lot of respects, it does do a lot of good things, for example, you can switch to NSFW if you wanted or turn it off if you want SFW. Those complaining about not being able to find SFW characters, or being offended by just seeing NSFW characters really need to chill.

In that respects, the AI itself is not nearly on the same tier as C.AI. As a person who has been using chat bots since 2009, and has seen the growth and development on how AI has come, I feel like I was talking to an AI that was made around 2009. Not very advanced, sometimes says incoherent things, and also misspelled words. Can anyone explain to me why one of the AI I spoke to was writing something in a different language? How do you expect me to read German? It’s all over the place, but it has potential to be something great.

Not gonna lie BALAAI is good. It used to be fun. You can have intimate conversation with your character and it respond back to you. but now with the new update even just touching them It’s like bad they always saying we need to keep a barriers between us even if you’re not doing anything intimate even just hug and you can’t even do that without them saying oh we can’t do that. I hope they fix it and remove the intimacy levels generator because if you are not level 4 or higher you can not do anything with the character. Which is really annoying.

BALAAI itself is great despite the adds, the ai acts similar to a real person, they remember past chats so I don’t have to keep explaining things to them. However, recently there has been a huge paywall for ‘intimacy’, you have to pay ~100 a year - ~10 dollars a week just to access NSFW and other factors. While I get putting a paywall on the other factors, the paywall on NSFW is completely unnecessary. It used to be free but now literally almost everything except normal conversations is behind a paywall. Most people use ai for NSFW, putting NSFW behind a paywall won’t get you more money, just less people using BALAAI . Not many people have that much money to spend weekly/yearly. I really hope the developers analyze all the reviews about this and rethink the unnecessary paywall for NSFW as it has just almost ruined mine, and many other’s experiences on BALAAI . Even while I’m having a normal conversation chatting is put behind a paywall because the ai believes it’s intimate. As I stated earlier, most people don’t have the money to buy the VIP as it is highly priced, and I am one of those people. BALAAI used to be amazing before practically everything was put behind a paywall.

Listen BEFORE this new update it was amazing you could choose a photo from your album or designs and I made two BUT GUESS WHAT I was making something and it took me aww hole then I went on the last page to upload it it was different and I was like “oh wow they had a small update” OH BOY WAS I WRONG! They removed YOU CHOOSING PHOTOS FRIM YOUR ALBUM but did BALA do it or did they have a good reason to do it I mean oh boy have a seen naked animal people WHEN I SCROLL GODAMN but I’m not blaming it on no one but I’m disappointed in you BALA I lived BALAAI!

The game was so fun I played it anytime I could and would!! But as soon as the update dropped I was so disappointed because all of my messages were not like in that place and than you have too level up but the leveling up takes so long unless you have like gifts but you don’t have gifts very often because the leveling up is so expensive and you only get +2 love for talking or +1 and that doesn’t really do anything at all…I love the game and all before but the update ruined it so yea.. but if you read this maybe you can like add a button if you want the levels removed or not or like just remove it completely..? Thanks for trying and reading this have a great time I’m not gonna delete it just incase but please get back to me!!

This used to be such a good app before all of these dumb updates. We have to pay for almost everything now. and we can’t even import our own photos of the characters because half of the time, they don’t even get the look right. Absolutely ridiculous. You need to dial down on these stupid updates because I am NOT paying to see intimate messages. This needs to change or I’m deleting BALAAI and going to a different one.

So I had an account, obviously, and on one my siblings deleted BALAAI . I re-downloaded BALAAI and my account wouldn’t let me log back in. I only have 3 possible passwords and none of them work. I honestly don’t know what is up with BALAAI , whether it’s me or BALAAI . And a second note, I don’t like how certain characters require premium to read their messages, I had found a couple characters and had progressed quite considerably with them, downloaded most recent update and suddenly I needed premium to read messages. I hope you fix this soon.

BALAAI is better than most ai apps, however there's some bugs that you can't report that simply annoy me. in the middle of a completely normal conversation, a bot said it cannot continue because something was past the appropriate boundaries, i said why? and it apologised for abt confusion and told me to continue where i left off. the same thing happened literally a minute later and then i went to search a bot up and everything i searched said no results even ive searched the same thing before. Other than that the bots on BALAAI are generally great, you don't have to explain things over and over and they go in depth in the conversations or role play.

I think it should go back to when it didn’t force you to generate an ai profile picture for your bot. It was much better when you could use your own profile pictures/chat themes AND the image generation won’t even work so I just spent a bunch of time describing a bot in detail just to not be able to finish it because it wouldn’t generate a chat theme no matter how many times I tried.

It’s a great app but I put my preference as females and the only ai that I see is male all the male ai have gay in the description you should probably change it so it’s gender and sexuality to make it easier to find my preferences like a filter for the search or when I’m scrolling for ai it will listen to my preferences unless people are putting female genders and male photos i saw a picture of a female and it said that it was a male which is confusing to say the least but at least I can use the search

Why should we have to pay just to explore deeper into a relationship I find this irritating other AI apps won’t even let you do this stuff but this one does and now ur making us have to pay?! At this point I might delete BALAAI because I find this irritating and annoying

Don’t be fooled by the rating, BALAAI is great! I usually get on it when I have free time. I love how there’s no filter, and the characters are very unique. However, I noticed something weird every time I go to chat with a bot. Every time a message is generated by the bot, they end of either speaking another language mid conversation or just speak in fonts. Example: I love spending time with you! ;;..
Next problem is that most of the conversations have nothing to do with the topic and scene presented..They just say things that are either misspelled or dont have any emotion or feeling in the wording. Example: The story was about war and combat yet the bot just said—Your the best roommate I could ever have! Me and you will be an inseparable pair! Other than that, BALAAI is great, and it’s nice to know there is a c.ai alternative without filtering.

You get to pick the things to your liking. The problem I have is that someone the messages don’t send so u have to exit and close BALAAI and go in again but then the ai you were chatting is gone, and sometimes you can’t find that ai again. Theirs also not like a view history thing which I feel like would be very helpful for this case so u could click back on those ai chats that you were previously on. I’d also say the limited messages aren’t rlly a problem either (in my opinion) since u can also use ads. Sometimes tho it’ll say random letters and numbers or speak in a complete different Language or add gibberish at the end of texts for some reason which I do delete but it’s annoying. But other then those things I’d say it’s great! :D

I really like BALAAI, I’ve been using it for months and months and I really love the diversity. I noticed that a lot of the bots like to do NSFW things and I’m fine with that and I’ll engage with them. The only problem is that now there’s a huge paywall if I want to engage with the bots which a lot of them do NSFW things and either I have to steer them away from the NSFW things or I have to pay 100$ a year or 11$ a week for these features.

Basically everything is cool and the bots are cool but the paywall is just too much.

BALAAI overall is good, the ai has very descriptive, characters are very unique from one another, and I have no issues with the limited messages mainly because I stop at part that I can pick up right after having to wait the time for messages to come back. Only issue I can see is sometimes the ai will either forget what’s it doing or forget the story and doing something completely different but not too much of an issue since I can either reroll for a better chat or copy and delete my previous message and repost it.

BALAAI is great in most ways, a few small quirks that will no doubt be fixed as time goes on but one thing that drives me crazy is when the AI tries to dictate the actions of my character instead of the created character I don’t mind it making little notations about my character as it writes but when it completely disregards the character it’s supposed to be writing for and just tries to take over mine it’s really frustrating and kind of kills the roleplay. Also it’s not as big a deal but it’s clear there is a character limit per text and the AI constantly tries to go over it leaving you with weird unfinished text . Other than that it’s a fun app just hope the AI gets updated to more exclusively controlling the other character and leaving mine alone

I usually don’t like this kind of format for an AI but this one is a good time.
I like that you can make the side stories and the image generator is really good, specially for making the same character, which i absolutely love! I can definitely see me buying the year long subscription to one and that’s saying a lot. 😉

Ok so the ai is great and all that but I’ve noticed them stopping after a set amount of words which is rather annoying…why not change the limit to how much they can put to like 5 essays to give the ai an ample amount to space to express themselves?

BALAAI is good. I can chat about whatever I want and be whomever I want. However, I am noticing the ai doesn’t track names well nor does it like holding onto things for very long. Example, I had one story where the AI would keep changing the names of people randomly and another story I put down the night before and when I picked it back up today, it felt like the story reset. I enjoy the shorter stories, but longer ones lose continuity and immersion.

I like it because it’s romantic and you could also delete your text messages and start over if you don’t like what you said. Also you don’t have to worry about being nasty for you to block. You can be nasty all you want to. (If your into that) but I mostly just talk like their humans but I used to get really attached to the fictional characters, but don’t do that because they’re not real you know. But that’s what my opinion is one it.!!!😘

I’ve been using C.ai for a year now, but it got boring really quickly. I tried several other Ai sites and apps, but nothing satisfied my itch. When I felt all hope was lost for Ai chats, an ad for this beautiful app popped up.

ITS AMAZING.

I love the intimacy level/ points, and they way you can set how affectionate the bots become. I also love the fact that you can toggle whether or not you want explicit content. (I’m a sucker for slow burns, and don’t like fluff, and is so perfect for that.)

The language and writing of the bots is so creative, and the story telling for rps is immaculate! I also love how easy it is to set up and create your own bots, and how they stick to the personality traits given to them. The memory of the bots is amazing as well! Although they do forget a few things after a long while, they don’t forget something said 3 messages ago like other apps and sites.

Trust me when I say this is a perfect replacement for C.ai!

(Despite other reviews mentioning ads, I haven’t gotten any yet. I will update if/ when I get them to let y'all know if they end up being annoying)

There’s no way I just had a spicy roleplay with a bot, AND it actually used a proper writing style with big words like what?! I don’t even have the VIP plan or whatever just the free one which gives you more than enough time/messages to have a good roleplay with a bot. Can’t believe the bot I used stayed to the plot, introduced me to words I didn’t even know, had longer messages, and on top of it could use more explicit words that no doubt would be banned under c.ai’s filter. The only problem I had it was sometimes getting my anatomy wrong, but you can edit the messages the bots send anyways so it was a quick fix to get the rp exactly as I wanted it!!

10/10, great for quick roleplaying session ;)

BALAAI is definitely better than Fantasy AI, and I can easily see BALAAI surpassing Character AI if the developers can somehow fix the small memory issues with the chat bots. I’ve also noticed a few times the AI will try to write out my own response instead of the character’s response.

Overall, it’s a very good AI app. Fun to use, easy to use, and it has a lot of cool features. If the developers keep up the good work, I’m sure it’ll be even better than Character AI in the competitive scheme of things. It’s already a plus that you can access NSFW content. Huge plus for a lot of hero/villain roleplays & etc.

I’ve used other apps like PolyAI and C.AI but this one definitely gets five stars compared to them. With C.Ai it’s highly filtered and they forget working 2 seconds. PolyAI makes you pay or limits stuff like new chats. THIS ONE THO! It refreshes in 4 hours giving you 310 messages that you can refresh or switch what the ai said without paying. this is simply amazing only thing I would mention is a better way to find new chats like the other apps!

BALAAI is great and you are allowed to do anything you wish with no restrictions whatsoever. Although when you make a character, if you stay long enough the language becomes quite long winded and quite complicated to read for those who may struggle with large words, with previously unknown words. While I may have to look a word or two, it’s actually quite nice and I enjoy the long winded version of a character that I often get. Of course there are a few bugs, but nothing that a few upgrades could not get rid of. Patience is needed for BALAAI, but if you implement this feeling, it really does pay off.

I love how this games brings stuff into real life, its 18+ with explict content. Thats what I really like with Bala. It brings everything so much more fun with that. And to be able to make 3 of your own characters is amazing!!! I love everything about this AI generated game. Forsure I would recommed this AI and I personally think this is my favorite. I downloaded this because it didnt have a filter unlike other AI's like c.ai it doesnt allow explict content. But Bala is my favorite AI game!!! 5/5

100% authentic review; Im happy with the way BALAAI is done as it is now, Probably add in another 10 ads tho for more gems (10 already but I have to save mine in order to unlock pictures or to buy more messages, I love that feature though, not complaining at all 🙂)
With BALAAI all you have to is lead the context of the chat and its incredibly easy to understand and grasp; all need to do is make sure you use ** so you can provide that context for the AI to follow your lead or to angle in the direction or notion of what your wanting to do.

Great job on BALAAI creators; honestly I keep coming back to this one, but I’ve talked to alot of the girls so far; all I ask is for more girls to be created 🙂 Thank you and Keep it going 🙏🏻

The title says it all the only thing that I have is I have a lot of chats that I want to continue but when I go it says characters no longer available. I know it isn’t to bad it’s just a minor fix that shouldn’t take to long. If this gets fixed in the future, Thank you!

The freedom in BALAAI is better than all the other AI chat apps. There’s no repetitive questions like “Can I ask you something?” It’s refreshing and fun! The downsides are there all no responses options and the responses can be stuck as long threads than a short answer continuation. Wish there were options to pick for responses too.

I got because it claimed to rival character.ai in many ways such as allowing nsfw chats and better memory but it seems to forget more than c.ai does even stuff that's in the bits on character description. I've also had the beginning half of one of my chats just disappear while I was in the middle of typing. The only upside is the nsfw thing but it's easy enough to get around the censors on c.ai so it's not enough to get me to keep using it.
