Photo Purge Reviews

This wants $5 per week. Not per month. Gross business practice.

There is no empty trash button whilst swiping. One has to swipe through all pictures of a month before it shows up. That takes hours. Ridiculous app design. What a waste of time. Avoid!

PhotoPurge is requiring me to recite it before I can use it. So I have no idea if I’m gonna like it or what’s good about it and what’s bad. This is the second app that’s making me review it BEFORE I can even use it. So how am I supposed review something I haven’t tried out first? That’s just silly. So I have to give it a low rating. It said to continue using for free you must review, once you review it you can use PhotoPurge ! But I already paid for the lifetime one time price, so how am I using it for free when I paid already for an app I HAVEN’T EVEN TRIED??

I signed up and before being allowed to use PhotoPurge I got a pop up instructing me to rate PhotoPurge in order to be able to continue to use PhotoPurge . There was no was to x out of that screen.

I’m confused by apps that require a rating/review before a user has even had the opportunity to try PhotoPurge ! What’s the point of a review??

I may end up loving PhotoPurge - the screen shots look great. But…I won’t give a 5 star review on an any app that I couldn’t go past the rate me now screen!!!

I’ll update my review later, but still minus one star for the forced review on start up.

I’m surprised I’ve never seen anything like it before. It’s an amazing app on my iPhone, but for some reason it just doesn’t work completely on my iPad Pro (9.7-inch). The simple things like swiping left or right work fine, but things like the bottom buttons don’t work; when I touch them they move a bit as if it’s worked but then they do nothing. The contact developer button also doesn’t work for some reason but all the other buttons there work. Anyways, great idea. Sad Apple doesn’t get smart ideas like this. P.S. it would be a nice feature to have a label of what the type is ex. Live, Burst, Video and the duration of the video as well. I think I just deleted a blurry Live which was actually a cute little video 😢

Its main deficiency is that it does not indentify duplicates which is the first thing you need to do to manage your photos.

It’s not possible to view images full screen, in landscape mode, or zoom in. If there are two similar images but one is slightly blurry there is no way to know which one to delete.

On iPad Pro, I am unable to continue past onboarding without having to choose a subscription. I have a previous lifetime subscription to restore but that’s not an option on the onboarding ‘choose subscription’ page.

It’s a little difficult to use. It will find what it thinks are dupes and you can dating app style delete them. Swipe left or right.

iPhone already does what this does in its own way, so I do not see the point of this.

I enjoy PhotoPurge so far but do not understand why videos show up as black screens and there’s no way to play them or see which video it is without hitting the export button to see a small small thumbnail which isn’t even part of PhotoPurge . I couldn’t find a place to request help, so…

I figured it was to keep a picture so I pushed it and the picture vanished and I can’t seem to find it anywhere v

PhotoPurge was featured as lifetime free(one day only) from AppAdvice but after I downloaded and finished with the on boarding, the free app option was not available anywhere. Very disappointing as I liked the option of getting rid of unnecessary photos.

I like it but it could be more friendly

Works quite well and kept my frustration to a manageable level.

Daily reminders to purge old photos really help. It would help if you had a lot of pictures but not enough time to finish going through all of them to be able to delete what you viewed, but overall a great and helpful app

Works well; however, it would be nice if you could enlarge the pictures for a closer look before you make a decision. I do like that it gives you photos everyday. Having a manageable amount of pics makes it not so overwhelming.

App makes you write a review in order to start using it but it is hard to say anything when I have not even used it yet. Not sure what the point is of making people write a review before using PhotoPurge !

Its fine and saves up so much storage except that it has a limit time (I’m trying to find one that dosent have a limit) and when your done with a month of pictures it dosent become marked like you’ve already went through it, so sometimes I forget if I deleted pics from thst month or not but other all it’s okay. so… it’s 6/10.

Ready to like it but have to review before trying

Gives you a chronological view of your photos and an easy way to keep or delete them. Couldn’t be easier

I never though cleaning my pictures would be fun. PhotoPurge even makes you willing to do that daily. Highly recommend.

PhotoPurge helps me save storage space and make it easy to delete unwanted photos.

Just beginning to use, but looks like it will be great for thinning out unneeded photos and thereby save a lot of storage.

I haven’t had a chance to work with it yet they asked for a review to unlock PhotoPurge

I wasn’t sure how it worked at first but it does simplify the process of choosing which photos you want to keep.

I forget to delete photos a lot and PhotoPurge helps me have a constant flow of photos being deleted from the past after I review them.

This is the first time I had to rate an app before using it! 😂
I’m sure it’s going to be great when I delete something—so thanks beforehand! All the best on future updates and other apps!

Love PhotoPurge! When I have five minutes free, I open it, choose a month and swipe away! Makes the overwhelming cast of cleaning of thousands of photos from and easy, little by little! Recommended!

I’ve just started using this. But I’ve got to get my Apple memory under control. I have good hopes for this one. It looks right for me.

I’d overbooked photos and ran out of storage space. This great app helped get things under control. I had as many as 5 copies of the same photo about a dozen times.
My phone feels a lot lighter! 😁

Does what it is supposed to do. Easy to use, will recommend to my friends.

Saves a lot of time rather having to go to the trash can all the time.
