SMNP Reviews NP Board Prep Reviews

SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep does not work for iPhone, it won’t load questions and is constantly just showing a screen that says loading. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it does not fix the issue. It is very disappointing paying for a product you cannot use to the full extent. I have used other apps for review questions and don’t have any issues.

I loved SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep when I first downloaded it. Loved that I could decipher what topic I wanted to be quizzed on so I could focus on my weak areas. But when I updated SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep , it wouldn’t let me make any more practice banks. Customer service was quick to respond. Within 2 days I could make practice banks, but 6 days later I’m still unable to limit topics - which is annoying because I’m getting a lot of pediatric questions that I don’t need as part of my studying. I haven’t heard back from customer service in a few days so I’m still waiting to fix this problem.

I like the format and questions; however, SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep has a lot to frustrating technical problems. It always resets back to the “used” questions. It constantly resets during the exam. The website has a lot of the same technical issues as well. CC sometimes doesn’t work at all or shows text from other videos while I am watching a different video. The video often shuts off in the middle and when I reset it, there’s no volume. I have to log completely out and then log back in. The information is priceless, but the technical problems are extremely frustrating.

The questions and content are great, but SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep is very glitchy. For example, when creating a practice set of questions, the categories automatically reset to “all categories” no matter what. I cannot create a question set that is specific to the content I need to practice, which is extremely frustrating considering the product is advertised that way and I paid $60 use this feature. I am testing in less than a month and this has really impacted my ability to study how I need to, going category by category. If you are OK with taking tests that cover all categories of content over and over again, this might be worth it because the content is good. If you are methodically studying and need to focus on certain areas (just pulmonary, just cardiology, etc.), don’t waste your money.

First I want to say that I greatly appreciate having SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep available and it is new so I know the kinks are still being worked out. I purchased a Q Bank subscription and I love being able to do the questions on my phone or tablet. However there have been several questions that I answered correctly and SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep said it was wrong. This is extremely frustrating because I would like an accurate score prediction, this is how I am assessing my knowledge and readiness for the exam so to have questions that I answered correctly marked as incorrect is very frustrating. I'm sure this will eventually be worked out, but I did want to bring it to your attention.

The questions are well written, but are not up to date with current practice (i.e. new RSV vaccines available).
Explanations are minimal compared to other FNP prep apps. Other question bank apps contain images, videos, charts, and a forum for comments on each question, which are more helpful.

Hi, I am enjoying SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep as it is easy to use and convenient. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have to re-download SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep everyday because it says that I don’t have any quizzes or exams to take, like I don’t have access. However, when I delete it and then re-download again, it is working like normal.

I would be really beneficial to have audio version that we can play in the car by traveling and doing other chores. Secondly, it would be great to have a review section via the high jailed topics with notes can be found so we can review those high notes and then do the questions that would be a really great addition.

The Sarah Michelle program overall was absolutely exactly what I needed to prepare for boards. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any new grad getting ready to take boards. I only gave SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep itself 4 stars simply because I feel it should include access to the entire program (modules, live session reviews, and the PowerPoints) and not just the exams and qbanks. It did crash on me a few times and froze up which was inconvenient, however I didn’t have any issues with the questions being tallied incorrectly (as I’ve seen a few other users did). Overall however, being able to do quizzes on the go was super nice and I literally used it daily while studying. Good luck grads- you got this!!

SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep is great and super helpful! I am learning a lot and feel that SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep is beneficial when on the go and when I cannot bring my laptop. The only improvement I can think of would be that the study plan could update through SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep rather than having to log in on the computer to refresh the study plan. And to be able to access the analytics on SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep too.

I purchased a Qbank subscription and I really enjoyed having SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep. It really helped me continue to be on the go while still answering questions to fulfill the amount of questions I needed to answer per day. I also really liked that SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep had all of the same functions as the online Qbank so that way you can design your own quizzes with the amount of questions per quiz, the area/s that you would like to answer questions in, and it also gave the rationales as well (just like online). It was a great study tool and really helped me pass ANCC this week! Highly recommend Sarah Michelle’s products. You won’t regret it!

SMNP Reviews is the Best review for anyone taking the ANCC Exam! I passed after doing the Crash Course and the 1 day Review in 2 weeks. I had questions that were my exam. Hands down 100% worth every dollar. Thank you so much to all the instructors. You Will Pass!💜

Not sure why there are so many poor reviews. My experience was wonderful with SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep and the content was great. I loved being able to do practice questions wherever/whenever in my free time. I passed first try. Utilized the SM practice bank via SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep (and did an exam or two on the computer) and partially did the Leik review (didn’t get through it all). Passed first time. Great app for those studying for boards!

It is annoying that you have huge buttons with answers that don’t fit on one screen. Visually, it’s not helping with determining the right answer right away, and memorizing the right answer when reviewing. Constant scrolling up and down is not convenient. Instead, make the button size adjustable to the answer option inside, so the question and answers fit on the screen.

My first encounter with SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep was not a good one. But after contacting the developers about my issue with not being able to view the answer choices to the questions, I was super excited about SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep. The developer suggested that I change the font size on my phone. It was just that easy. SMNP made a great decision to make the question bank available on the iPhone. It has helped me study away from my home computer. Excellent choice and upgrade to enhance an already great program.

Absolutely LOVE SMNP review! I used it for the FNP 3p exam and the AANP board exam. Passed both with flying colors! The question wording is similar so I felt very prepared. Plus I did all their qbank and exam questions and followed their study plan. Worth every penny. Strongly suggest using SMNP. I did use Leik as a supplement but I am telling you SMNP is gold.

SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep is awesome, makes it so much easier to do questions on the go. So important while in NP school, going back and forth to clinical! Thank you for making something great for us Sarah Michelle!! I feel confident in your materials 😇

It’s a good app. My incorrect questions doesn’t refresh after I get them correct. Also I wish SMNPReviewsNPBoardPrep had more access to my account. Like exams. And the courses. So I can listen as I go easily.

This review course is amazing, to the point with great descriptive rationales. Also provides bonus questions to further dive into main questions!
