I fully and 100% support Bentkey, DailyWire, and the entire mission they are trying to accomplish. I just paid the $99 to support the cause and provide quality entertainment for my children. However, Bentkey’s customer support is horrendous. It is extremely difficult to find a way to email, call, or chat with customer support. Once I found the chat, nobody was available. It said I would receive an email when someone was available. I received an email later letting me know the chat person was available, but since I wasn’t there, I lost my chance. I re-opened the chat and asked questions and there was no reply as if the conversation was unable to be re-opened. I’m upset because I paid the money to support the company and neither of my smart TVs have an option to download Bentkey so my kids can watch the shows on TV. I replied to the email I got, which turned out to be a non-reply email address. If it wasn’t for my strong feelings to support the entire reason that Bentkey exists, I would’ve already given up and requested a refund. I hope somebody reaches out to me because this is insane. Five stars for available content, one star for customer service and usability.

The app doesn’t allow you to see full descriptions of shows, episodes, or characters. It also always begins again at the first episode of a show. I don’t like the auto play feature either, as it doesn’t offer you an option to stop the auto play of the next episode, it just plays. Currently, you’re not able to play watch the trailers for upcoming shows even though you were able to a couple of weeks ago.

We like the family content, but there aren’t enough family friendly shows to engage us. Their are only a few (maybe) shows that my husband and I would watch with our kids. The rest of the shows are for a very young audience. They need to achieve some balance there as I don’t imagine older kids are too interested in the current shows, and as for a family, my husband and I are not interested in the majority of the content.

This app seems to have a lot of issues when streaming through firetv. Like another reviewer said, the time bar does not go away, and the bottom half of the screen in always dark. My son was begging me all afternoon to watch Chipchilla, and I finally went to turn it on, and none of the shows will load. When I click on episodes, a gray screen comes up and says “content is not available at this time.” This happens more than it works for us and is incredibly frustrating. He’s now watching Cars on Disney+. Bummer. Even with all these issues, my son LOVES Chipchilla and Truck Games. I was hopeful this could be the primary way our family watches tv, but if the app won’t play anything that’s not a possibility! Hopefully DW figures out these issues quick!
