Bought RemoTV , downloaded so I can turn the volume up on the TV. Lost my remote to a drooly 15 month old. Do not even waste your time downloading. Literally connects to whatever tv available and than does absolutely nothing. No functions whatsoever. Pointless.

So many features are disabled in the free version - you can’t even change channels without paying, and it also doesn’t remember your television when you reopen RemoTV ! Pointless.

I had to pay money to press ok and I could only go left, right, up, and down without paying 40$ a week

I had trouble with RemoTV. Downloaded TV remote and it worked fine. This one wants you to jump a few hoops first.

I was not even able to experience RemoTV without being forced to subscribe for $29. For a remote that I may only used 3 times in the lifetime of this tv. RIDICULOUS!!

I downloaded and had to chose the free trial. It didn’t connect to my TV. Instead of being able to cancel quick and easy, there’s no cancel option. I’ve emailed them but who knows how long it will take for them to get back to me. I’d avoid RemoTV.

They changed me 30$, RemoTV is supposed to be functional as a remote control but the only think that works is the volume.
Waist of money.

You need to pay just to turn up the volume like….i can buy a remote for less that $30 and they want me to pay for the volume NO unacceptable do not download the only thing you can do is use the thingy(the thing you use to move the tv screen)!!!!

It is exceptionally slow to respond to any commands. You’ll hit a button and it will work 50% of the time. Also it disconnects from your TV nigh CONSTANTLY so you have to reconnect it only for it not be responsive again. Do. Not. Buy.

Why do I have to pay u just to use a remote

Absolutely trash do not waste your time. Adds every time you hit any button and does not control your tv. Uninstalled ✌🏽

The TV needs to be turned on on before it’ll connect. Completely useless as a remote replacement. Don’t give them your money

Got all excited because my remote broke and with the reviews thought this would be helpful. But it was a HUGE let down. It connected to the TV no problem. I was shocked. But it doesn’t actually do anything. No movement, no volume, no nothing. Cancelled free trial. Thank God there is a free trial so you can cancel before paying for it.

Forced me to pay $30 for a year subscription and it didn’t even work. I made sure my phone is on the same Wi-Fi. Does NOT find tv. I had multiple people try with multiple different TVs. Don’t waste your money on RemoTV!

After paying for the subscription for the year it has stopped working after 2 months.
The remote has stopped connecting to to the Smartv no matter how many times I’ve rebooted the tv redownloaded RemoTV and restarted the internet. Both my phone and tv are on the same WiFi but RemoTV is not locating any tv anymore

I submitted it cancellation, but I’m not I don’t think it’s going through. This is the first day of the day trial and I noticed that you will only honor it if it’s done before the end of day before you charge me $6.98 for the next week, so don’t even think about it because I canceled today you have not sent me acknowledgment of the cancellation so we have a problem, please contact me immediately

I got RemoTV and it worked well and did what it needed to do but when I didn’t need it any longer there is no way to cancel it. You have to write a message to get it cancelled and they wouldn’t do it

I looked up how I can use a remote without wifi because my Roku screwed up and their ad literally says “Roku remote without wifi” and the first thing it says in RemoTV is that it needs to be connected to wifi. Such a scam.

I never write reviews but seeing RemoTV is pay to use is laughable. I need it to control my tv not do my taxes..

Scam - no free trial. $12 charged immediately. Then doesn’t even work!!

Didn’t work at all for the television. Only works for the Roku devices. Confusing sign up and no cancellation for one year. I would not buy.

Why y’all charge just to use an tv app remote

It doesn't work. I clicked on free trial and it took my money immediately and it doesn't work. I'm probably gonna have to fight to get my $29.99 refund.

Works fine for a while, until you navigate to a different app and come back, or haven’t used RemoTV for quite awhile. Then it will INTERRUPT WHAT YOURE WATCHING to make you reconnect, but by the time you try to do that it’s done it on its own and you just have to hit the cancel button to go back to what you’re watching. At first it’s mildly annoying, but if you’re really into what you’re watching and just want to bump the volume up a notch it becomes infuriating. The free trial is almost up and at this point I doubt I’ll pay for a subscription.

RemoTV worked fine for a while but then it continuously disconnected from the WiFi. I couldn’t even get it begin to working at some points but most of the time it would disconnect within seconds if it did connect. Super frustrating. I ended up deleting and downloading a new app.

There is a glitch that needs to be fixed. RemoTV says it’s not on a local network and takes you to your settings when it shows that that is already turned on. So you have to delete RemoTV and re-download it it’s annoying.

A little too pricey for it to give me “your phones not connected to wi-fi” every other time I go to use RemoTV which results in me not being able to use it. Not worth it tbh

I downloaded RemoTV and it connected very easily with my Roku, I tried to do screen mirroring though and it seemed as if it was just showing the apps that are downloaded on to my tv, and letting me control them with my phone, like a universal remote. I know that a remote is one of the features but it is also supposed to have a screen mirroring feature, and it doesn’t. I am not able to play a video on my phone and mirror it to my tv, which is what I wanted RemoTV for! So it is easy to connect and it looks nice but does not function as advertised.

This is the best app I ever used because then when I lose my remote or someone steals my remote or I accidentally the winner trash, I could just use RemoTV

There was a Apple mirrorimg app with very clear with the intruction's... Instarted not texhie and the directions that were presented by message bailed me out and All SET to watch thw Olympics here in Montana... Semper fi 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Jerry L.

Works well and connects fast

Tried 5 other apps over 2 hours to get a remote that works because my tv volume was stuck at 1. All the other apps required subscriptions and didn’t even end up working. This was the ONLY app that ACTUALLY worked and is a good price

I couldn’t believe how easy this was! I have tried another app and couldn’t get it connected to my tv but this was shockingly easy. Broke our remote and went to the store to get a replacement but couldn’t remember the brand of tv so tried this. After installing RemoTV it told me to connect to the same Wi-Fi as the tv is connected to, it then found both my TVs in the living room and bedroom I selected bedroom and wall-la! Worked great no delay after pressing the buttons worked perfect all buttons. The next day I used it in my living room I simply chose that tv when connecting and bam off to the races in the living room as well!

I download it and it actually lets me control my TV and the other apps. They said that it could connect so I give this a five star it really really fast:) but then it cost money to even do something like return
