Banger: AI Cover Songs & Music Reviews

Trying not to be too harsh cus this is a pretty new app but for me personally it doesn’t function that well. I tried doing one cover to try out Banger , it failed multiple times to convert, I was patient enough to keep trying and eventually it worked? I tried again to see if I can get a better end product and it failed multiple times again, and then when it was completed it glitched ig cus there was no audio to listen to lol

I don’t mind the wait time cus obviously conversing the song would take time, but it’s just the bugs and errors

It’s amazing and it’s much safer then using the internet…I think. But I’m disappointed that In order to listen to the full song we have to subscribe. Maybe subscription could only lock certain voices instead of limiting the length of the song?

This is a great app for making AI covers and stuff. The only complaint I have is that with the free version you can’t choose which part of the song it sings. It just picks a random time stamp. But besides that, great app!

Banger is great, but there’s some times that uploading the cover failed, and the time stamp is very short. Not to be rude but I rather have to watch ads to get a full timestamp. Just a suggestion or not ❤️😊

I started with payment and then the songs were adding more minutes like a 2-minute one he added 2,000 minutes, 5-minute songs he gave me in 1 minute, fix that please I like the application a lot.🙏

But when I found I didn't need to pay to use, I was like "What's the catch?", you can only listen to 15 second clips that you CAN'T choose, and you need to pay ~7$ a week to get the entire song

I get they need to get money somehow, but imo it ain't worth it, it's an amazing app, but you gotta pay for the full song

TLTR: You only get 15 seconds till you pay, but a good app

My only complaint is that you have to pay, but still it does what you wanted it to do so can’t be mad at that.

Let me just start off by saying for a phone application, this specific AI voice cover app is the best working one so far for the most part the voices sound pretty good (depending on the song) but a lot of the time the voice is glitch and sound like a robot, especially when the singer changes pitch in their voice. Sidenote, I found out recently that a lot of voice covers I see online Aren’t done by phone apps they are done by other more professional programs. I honestly think that this specific app could be close in quality with those professional programs if the voices are worked one more.

Although the ai singing part is ok, you have unlimited uses for any song or character and you only get 15 seconds of the song but Banger is amazing compared to other ones that only give you like a use a day or only one unless you buy the premium version

I was trying to find a cover of a song that isn’t exactly popular when it comes to covers for an animation, so I struggled quite a bit trying to find the perfect cover. But Banger quickly & effortlessly made a smooth cover of the song I wanted in only just 3 minutes.

I've been using Banger for a little under week and I'm mostly satisfied with it. However, theres something that's been bugging me. Whenever theres some kind of harmonization or growling the AI will begin to glitch out and it's very irritating.

At first, I was reading all of these reviews complimenting Banger . I thought "hm, this seems like a good app" . Look how wrong I was! I made the cover, but I only get to listen to 15 seconds of the cover without paying for your stupid subscription! And I was looking at more reviews, to find out you don't even reply to reviews! They are auto generated! Honestly, what was I thinking?

Wow, Banger is a ton of fun! I can't stop using it to make covers. It's so addictive and I find myself constantly checking my phone to see if my cover is finished!

I think something that would help is to make the songs longer for those who don’t have premium, or at least select the part of the song they want. And maybe a larger roster AI voices would help! (I would kill for rise of the tmnt ai voices) overall,great app!

I was wondering why do we have to pay in order to get the full version of the song?

It works perfectly I saw the ad on instagram at first I thought it was to good to be true But then it worked perfectly no complaints

I love Banger, and it includes a lot of voices that I really like and use often. My only problem is that (I’m not sure if this is on purpose or not) many names are wrong and pictures as well. It’s not just occasional spelling errors; the names and pictures are so inaccurate that I have trouble figuring out which voice is what.

I love how perfect the ai covers sound. I almost cried bc I didn’t see Melanie Martinez on here when I first downloaded it. I saw that it had an update and “Melamine Martinez” caught my eye and I almost cried again. I’m so freaking excited to try Melanie’s ai! I’m sure it will be wonderful! Melanie is my favorite singer of all time if that wasn’t obvious! 😝

My problem with Banger is you can’t have characters from you favorite games like red dead redemption two characters and others. My other problem is you can’t listen to the full song without having to pay. It should at least play for a min or smth.

in my opinion this was a bad experience. i’m not even mad about the ads i’m upset that you have to pay $6.99 A WEEK to hear the full audio. and the simple fact you have to scroll through all the options rather than having a search bar at the top to look people up, not that it would even matter cause they can’t use real names. they use names like “adule” for adele and “aria grandiose” for ariana grande, it’s just dumb. and it won’t let you choose what 15 seconds to listen to. it just plays the first 15 secs of the video you choose. and the wait for the audio to load isn’t bad. overall this is just bad design and needs some work. the audio works and it sounds like the person but in my option the hassle to get anything to work isn’t worth it

it was so bad like i was exited to hear spongebob sing song but NO, i heard planktons singing and it sounded horibble. It doesn’t even sound like the singers. I made morty sing everybody wants to rule the world, expecting a high pitched song. I got something much lower than his voice sounds.

Secondly, whenever someone has a bad review, you say the same thing and don’t even try to handle the problem. I got the same review all the other people got. I don’t even think people read these descriptions, they just look at the stars and copy paste.

Thirdly, it’s way too overpriced. $6.99 a week? That’s absolutely absurd. Ancestry costs less than this in a month. ANCESTRY

Fourthly, you need to give us the full song. I put in Kyle singing a certain song and I didn’t even hear him sing because you only let me hear 14 seconds of the song.

The only part that I didn’t like is that I have to pay 6.99$ a month. Even though I only did the few trial it still annoys me because I’m not going to buy it which means I can’t use it any more. The other thing is that sometimes depending on the voice you pick it messes with the song and if the song has a person singing with a high voice the voice can get distorted if the cover singer has a low voice. For example if you make SpongeBob sing the SpongeBob theme song, the children saying “ay ay, captain” will just sound like random sounds. Otherwise, Banger has a wide variety of people to choose from to sing the song, and it allows you to use any song

It is very good like don’t get me wrong it is very good. But the fact you gotta pay so much money a WEEK to hear the full version of a song is actually crazy. But other then that I think Banger is actually the best. And I really want you to add a mordacie voice. That bird from regular show or whatever. You should really add him. Good app tho

Basically I just wanted to make a cover. So I put in my song, and Adele, and when I proceeded to make it, it failed. It happened twice, and I have less points just because that happened. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I am a bit disappointed with the amount of times it failed to make one single cover.

So, I got Banger around late September, and it was pretty nice, with unlimited creation and such. But as of recent, the apps kinda gotten annoying. First off, the amount of credits you’d given is only three, little to no point in generating a cover since it’s so limited. Another thing is the wait time for your credits to be refilled, I should not have to wait twenty hours to get only three credits. And while it’s cool that you can unlock the full covers of songs with credits now, either the amount given, it’s not worth it. All around, it’s a good app, but definitely needs some improvement.

You only get 3 credits to start and you have to wait 24 HOURS to get more. That is way to much time, it takes 1 credit to make a ai cover and another credit to get the full version. Don’t get me wrong though, this is a great app if you want to make ai covers of any song. I just wish the wait time to get more credits was 1-10 hours instead of an entire day.

I love it but the two things I hate that it’s only giving you three and you half to wait 20some hours but for two years I have been trying to find cartman’s voice Ai so I could have a song that sounds like he’s singing it and I 100% recommend Banger

I’m one of those teenage kids who don’t have any money so I do Banger without the subscription. at first they gave me three credits. Then the next day they only give me 1 cret like nobody is just going to wait a whole entire day just for Banger to give you something pointless and stupid like you can at least give us at least 3 or 5 credit not just 1 I just feel like it’s just pointless and dumb at the same time or if that’s just me

I put it at a four-star rating because. Number one, some of the lyrics are very hard to understand also the voices don't even sound like the actual character. Number two, wish that it would be longer not just 15:00 seconds more by like a minute or two. my note for Banger is really good and I can see it becoming better and having better quality of an app.

I’ve been using Banger for a while and it’s good but the 24 hour wait is just insane. >:\ Like you having to buy a subscription just to get full songs right away is just. Kinda sad. :( It’s a good app but another thing is that it needs more characters but overall it’s a good app :3

I cant rate it any lower than 4 stars since there’s literally no other free AI song cover app or website that I can find. 80% of the songs come out good, and every single song I’ve made at least has its great moments.

The only issue is that it takes 48 hours to make one song. 24 hours for the 15 second preview, and then an additional 24 hours for the full song. I’m getting used to it, but it is really annoying. I’d even be happier if it was 24 hours per full song, 12 hours a credit. I think that’s way more realistic and understandable. It still may not be for everyone, but it would be an improvement.

Currently i’ve made 11 full songs. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but that’s over 528 total hours (i don’t always catch it on time) making very few songs!!! Its crazy, but i’m so desperate for an app that i put it up with it. Still loyal tho 😤

There are so many predatory practices going on it’s not even funny. I can not count how many times I’ve almost accidentally bought a subscription. Buttons pop up all the time asking you to subscribe, and it takes like 8 seconds for the X to pop up in the corner. They try to trick you into thinking Banger isn’t free, when in reality it works fine without paying anything.

Despite all this, the covers that it does make are pretty high quality. There isn’t much competition for a free app like this. The one song a day rule isn’t really a huge dealbreaker either. Banger probably does break several copyright laws and tries to trick you into buying subscriptions, but at the very least it does its job well.

I love Banger and it works so well with how you navigate but the credit system could just be so much better
You have to either pay 8 USD a month or wait a whole day for another credit and they don't even stack
Also the pop-up that tells you to join there subscription is super Annoying like at least make it to where u can skip it quicker

I downloaded Banger a couple hours ago and I already don’t like it. You get three credits and when you use them up, you can’t even use Banger !!!! in order to get more than three credits/passes, you need to pay $6.99… A WEEK!!! if you don’t wanna pay seven dollars, you need to wait.. three days… to get your passes back…. So you don’t even get to use Banger for three days. Sometimes the AI sounds kind of crappy. For example, I try to make SpongeBob sing a song and it doesn’t even sound like the actual thing I mean I don’t blame you it’s AI it’s not always perfect XD but pls do better than this 😫😩

My only issue is you have to pay $6.99 a week to listen to the full song. However, the 15 seconds that you get is so cool and intriguing in Banger has a lot of potential and as soon as I find out that Banger cannot scam you for your money. Banger is amazing, but there is one problem… first, the credits. Everyone knows that 1 song = 1 credit taken. Well sometimes when you start. It only gives you 2 or 1 credits. Maybe make it like 3 or 4 or so? Second, the timer. When you spend all your credits. There is a timer that’s 24 hours. So maybe shorten it a little bit to like 20 mins? That would really help a lot. It’s free to download but a min $7/week to use Banger .
But that’s only to take their crappy already made voices and generate them with their massive song library of around 7 songs.

But the main point is to use YOUR voice. So you go to use your voice where you’ll spend 11 steps of recording your voice doing some odd things which isn’t terrible but can make you feel like an idiot for other ppls amusement 😆. But then when you get all the way through, they won’t let you do anything unless you give them more money! It’s so you can get credits. Because the credits you get after paying the min $7 isn’t enough to do anything. 🤷.

But hey, with that $7 you can get bill clinton (well their knock off versions) to sing chandelier. Herpa derpa derrr! 🙄.

I love Banger . I have made a ton of cover videos with Banger. My only complaint is the fact every time I open Banger it tries to get me to purchase their premium subscription. I wish that they could have a button on the top left corner where I would still see it but not get bothered by it. Another suggestion I would say and they don’t have to do this but I do recommend is watching ads for credits. I honestly got a little tired of waiting a full 24 hours. The ads could even just make the timer faster but that is my suggestion. And if the company behind Banger see this these changes are very much appreciated. Thanks

I bought the lifetime access, and I believe me and all the other people who purchased the lifetime access, should be able to upload unlimited audio files to make our own voices. If we can get unlimited covers from the pre made voices, we should just get the full package.

Let me start by saying 2 things: I want a refund and I have never left a review for an app ever before until today. So let those speak for itself. I bought Banger for $7 and go to create my own singing AI voice and then after you already paid to actually hear your voice get generated it wants you to pay $30 dollars to actually have your voice be made with AI and $30 was the lowest price.

TO SUM UP: you pay for Banger to then pay Banger even more money to actually use it

Please I want a refund I could of gotten a coffee and gotten more joy out of it!

Don’t fall for it. It’s not free. They double charge you or atleast they try. They got me with the $6.99. Then they want more for vocal training tutorial…. Literally if you want to see how you sound as Ai. They are trying to get you with a charge as much as possible.
As a business. The goal is to charge you, then charge you again. And once you gone too deep. Probably another charge just to most likely sounds crappy. If you’re going to spend money… spend it on the top 3 ai voice changers… not this crappy app. I hope I saved you money. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I like Banger , as it is the most easily accessible mobile ai cover app. It’s good, but not perfect, but it’s good enough.

One of the few problems is that 1. Just use ads to help get money for Banger (such as one ad you watch will give 1 credit), because I would rather watch 50 ads than pay 10 dollars. I am not a money guy or an ad guy, so I don’t know if that’s sustainable for the company, but it’s my recommendation. 2. My voice sounds off in the ai. This may sound like a major problem (especially because I put it at the top of the review) but it’s not. But, I do wanna say that I always sound too high pitched with none of the songs making me sound right.

Paid the initial subscription fee of 7 bucks, then another 11 bucks to train my voice. I don’t care for money, thought whatever, it’ll be some nice entertainment. Went through the process but got stuck on phrase 5. It’s impossible for the recording to be long enough to qualify, regardless of how long it is. Not only this, but the training phrases get increasingly cringey, as if the person participating is part of a big joke. I realize now I’ve spent my money and have no product to show for it, and the “developers” are laughing at me.

If you want money that badly, go e-beg for it. At least then someone is willingly giving you money with no expectations. Don’t make an app just to skim people’s pockets for a promise you won’t return on. Beyond insulting. And yeah, I’ll be getting my refund.

I do enjoy Banger not going to life but what I do want to suggest in my opinion is that every 24 hours can you please put two credits per 24 hours instead of having one credit per day because I really want to finish this cover that I did in the same day with two credits, instead of one instead of waiting for each day because having one is kind of annoying but you should be a little bit helpful if we had to

If I could post the screenshot I took of the screen that said “try for free” upon download I would post it. They took out $6.99 plus tax from my account and when I got into Banger finally it was trying to charge crazy amounts of money for credits to do the things they advertise as free or I suppose paid for now. You can’t even do anything without paying an additional $20 after subscribing. Do not recommend! I don’t care if it seemed cool from TikTok it’s falsely advertised. Also, I do expect an email back about this. I want a refund of the $7.46 you charged me for literally nothing. So tired of this false advertising.

I love Banger, despite me being chronically tone deaf and all my friends telling me to shut up when I sing some of these covers actually sound pretty good! Only reason I didn’t give a 5th star is because I wish Banger could fill in the really high and really low notes a bit better. Even if another voice was patched in hearing the static in an otherwise perfect cover throws the vibe off a bit. Other than that, great app!!

I purchased the $6.99/week subscription but it’s not letting me create anything. It’s stuck on saying I have 1 ad credit. When I click to start something it says Banger is not free and try purchasing a subscription (which I already have) so I click anyway, and it says subscription already purchased. I’m stuck in this loop. I’ve tried shutting off my phone, removing and downloading Banger again, and still stuck. Based on the reviews that it takes 24-48 hours for a clip or full song is a rip-off. I’m now 3 days into my subscription and can’t do anything. Haven’t heard anything from support, and it’s been 48 hours since contacting them. Hoping for a full refund or extension of subscription once it’s fixed.

Cost $7/week to add voices, the. 1 time $10 to select a song, they only had 6 songs free, I didn’t know any of them and only recognized 2 artists. I added my voice and paid to have a larger cover selection. That cover list has yet to open. It’s been hours and all other apps and internet related things are working fine. I never spend money but was feeling down and decided to treat myself…looks like I cheated myself. Banger hasn’t been useful and I’m afraid to try out one of the 6 available because it will begin to use my credits…this is also confusing. Just don’t get it. It’s not free, I know that pulls ppl in, but you can’t do anything without paying and so far I paid and still haven’t been able to do anything.

I love playing with music so, I agreed to at least one week for $6.99 to check it out. I created my voice profile by reading / singing their script. When you go to save it immediately wants you to buy more credits to even save or continue to play. The minimum credit buy is $9.99. You’ve already suckered me for $6.99 and now to even get to do anything I need to pay an additional minimum of $9.99. What a rip off! I didn’t even get to hear my voice profile, nor create anything. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! This is a MONEY GRAB, plain and simple. Shame of the creators and marketing for your scam!

I just want to start off by saying Banger design and how it is laid out is an definite attention grabber, and it is very well explained on how to use Banger . However, the issue is how are you going to advertise Banger , and have it not generate the AI cover that chose for the song we picked?

When I used Banger and tried making an AI cover it seem liked it was working fine but then it was buffering on the last minute for 5 minutes. I’m not going to waste my time and wait for the buffer to finish or not at all.

I would highly suggest you test all the AI and test the download for that AI cover to make sure it works well.

Banger is the best ai song covers app that I’ve come across. At first I didn’t really like that you had to wait 24 hours if you want the full ai cover (without paying the subscription) but now I’m okay with it because I’ll take the waiting option over having to pay for full ai covers on other apps. The main reason I like to use Banger is to make South Park ai covers and I love that there are a lot of the characters offered. My only complaint is that Banger does not have Stan Marsh, when it has all of the other main boy characters and Stan’s dad Randy Marsh. That doesn’t make much sense to me, because you have most of them there already, so I think Stan should be there too. It would be awesome if Stan Marsh could be included as an option in an update to Banger, otherwise that’s the only problem I have, and I think that Banger is pretty cool overall.

The way it’s marketed sounds like it’s free to get your own custom voice. Then you sign up and they say you don’t ’need’ to pay. They say there is a free version. As promised, there’s an option to click on ‘create custom voice’ it lets you do it. But after going through it all and getting excited, you are stopped to have to pay it order to “use it” to create a song. Not only does it require you to pay but you have to subscribe. However it does say “limitless ai covers” …. No fine print but luckily I read other reviews where they say there is a 48 hour cool down. You can only do a song every 48 hours (apparently) That is $7 per week at 3 songs max (if you timed it right). BRO just say it’s $3 per song off the bat… before I download and in the welcome screen. and I’d be happy. I’d buy plenty. First one 50% off and I would be extra thrilled. So instead I’m mad. And you get one star and then I delete you. Have good day. Cancel bait and switch apps. :)

First I was shown I have 2 credits and was like ok perfect I can try it out before I buy - nope. The two credits are meaningless and if I want to add a voice I need a subscription. Ok fine, I’ll pay $6.99 to give it a test run. Go through the whooooole process of recording my voice saying the weird phrases and such and at the end OPE you don’t have enough credits and need to buy 50 credits for $9.99 in order to use the voice. Ok but then why did I just pay $6.99?? It doesn’t cover this??? Can you please be upfront about the cost to use this? And why is there no trial run to see if I like it or not first? Super deceiving and shady.

I would like my money back please because I just wasted $6.99 and can’t even use Banger .

When you download Banger you get 2 free credits. So I assumed I was able to try Banger , before paying for the full version. I go through reading 3 samples of poetry they want me to read while I record my voice. I read the first sample, then the second sample is this song in Bangladesh. That is in English, but the words are still Bangladesh. Then I read the third. After reading and recording my voice for 1.7 minutes or whatever it said it was going to take. I get to step 4, it wants me to upload a picture (optional) for my voice file and a custom name (optional). I try to select continue and it says that I have to pay $6.99. So what was the point of giving me free credits upon download if I cannot use it? Y’all just stole my voice sample. Without my permission, mind you it did not ask for permission to use the microphone to record my voice. I don’t think. Now I cannot even try Banger to see if I like it without paying. TRASH!

Banger is honestly so fun and there are lots of characters and songs to choose from. Theres honestly ony two things i would change aoubt it. First, when you make a song with a given character, you only get about 15 seconds and must pay 1 “credit“ in order to receive the full version. I believe instead you should offer the option of 1 credit or like 5 ads because i really dont want use like the one credits i have left. Also i made a song and it failed for some reason and would not play. I think if this happens that we should get the credit we spent back. Andddd thats it. Thanks for reading :0

Downloaded to see if it’s even worth the purchases. Thought I would try to put my own voice in there for some laughs. They make you go through reading the stupid thing so it can get your voice (God only knows what they do with it), then when you go to save your voice they say “OHHH NOOO!!! AI COSTS US MONEY!! PLEASE SUPPORT US TO USE THIS FEATURE!” They want to get you invested so that you’re more likely to convert, sleezy sales tactic instead of just letting the product get sales organically. A good company would let you know beforehand: “Hey, this feature is a premium service. Sign up now to use it.” Instead of making you go through everything only to gatekeep at the last step to convert you to a 7 dollar a week customer. 28 bucks a month that they hope you forget about in your purchases I’m sure. Idc if it’s the best AI software out there, it’s run by greed. And for that reason, I’m out.

I seen so many ads of Banger and I decided to finally download it because you can use your own voice, I went to try and had to talk so it can record my voice but soon as I was done It told me I got to pay 7 dollars just to hear it, I’m annoyed of the ads I seen saying it’s free or even try one free then pay, I do like the difference voices ofc, but u should have it so when people tap to record their voice it tells you it costs money that you need to subscribe. ** update , I seen people not get refunded, and I’ve noticed you just copy and paste apologies for any negative reviews and some emailed and got no response , I’m glad I read the reviews now before I wasted my money! If it’s a copy and pasted apology and to reach out to a email, no.

This application is extremely misleading and deceptive. The application says at the welcome screen that it has a basic version, and a premium version. The subscription model, and options start as low as $6.99 USD a week, is much included “unlimited AI cover credits” yet, despite being enrolled, and billed for the weekly premium charge. When trying to proceed in creating a cover it will guide you through the 1.7 minutes of “AI training materials” but after getting past that, choosing a title name for the Voice, and photo” it will tell you that you don’t have enough credits and a pop up appears saying to purchase credits starting out at 500 credits and going up. This is a blatantly false and deceptive tactic that violates Banger Stores terms of service as a developer, and consumer laws.

They’ll comment on any review that they really want to fix the issue, yet no reviewer has updated their review to indicate anything was fixed. They don’t respond to any email sent to them. No matter if it’s 3,5,7 or 30 days for a response.

It’s outrageous. Avoid for your own sake.

UPDATE 2: They WILL NOT answer any email you send them, it has been over a week and I have gotten no responses. I have scoured my inbox to check if I am missing anything and there is no reply.
Update: I already emailed you two days ago. I was told that I would only wait a MAXIMUM of 24 hours. Just give me back my money and I will be on my way. I saw ads for it on TikTok and decided to give it a try. I was slightly peeved that I had to pay $6.99 a week to even use Banger , but I pushed passed it because I wanted to give Banger a chance. I spent 15 minutes reading those stupid scripts to train my voice ai only to be told that I didn’t have enough credits and would have to pay a minimum of $10 more to use it. I got fed up and didn’t use it for a day or two before going back and using one credit to make a cover from the premade ai’s. The quality was so bad that I instantly went to apple to demand a refund. They said that I couldn’t get a refund and I was never given a reason why. This is a trash app that is not worth your money. I want my money back.

To add to what everyone has said, it prompts you to record a bunch of phrases and then tells you that you must pay to use your own voice. At this point I skipped that and did the trial with a preloaded voice and it spit out a short clip that I thought was pretty good so I went and paid for the weekly subscription. After doing a handful of songs with preloaded voices I decided to go ahead and pay the extra money to use my own voice. After 2 songs with my own voice it tells me that I have reached my maximum number of creations. There is no literature even discussing a song limit. So I’m $17 in the hole and can’t use Banger any more and have no knowledge of what the actual song limit is or when I presumably will get allowed to make more songs if ever. It’s crazy that along with the deceptive upfront pricing structure, they also literally lie about the subscription including unlimited songs.
