Trackd : Discover or Create Reviews

I used the first version of this app for years and I loved it. It was absolutely perfect for helping write and record songs. Super simple, smooth, and easy to use; it helped my song writing immensely. I think I paid around $5 for the extra tracks, which permanently unlocked them, and it was awesome. I was excited when they said they were updating it and thought they’d add some useful features. Instead we got this. They’ve turned it into a social media monster of an app, with all kinds of extraneous features, and are charging $10 a MONTH for the extra tracks (or $80 for a year). Because of all the extra stuff they added, the core app (music recording) is much slower, less responsive, lags, and is all around less enjoyable and smooth to use. If you want more than 4 tracks, it will cost you a LOT. The original this app was something unique and it was perfect how it was. Now it appears that it’s gone from Trackd Store and will no longer have support. It would be fine if they wanted to make an add on social media/promotional tools app or something, and left the old this app alone, but it looks like they’re just killing the original app and replacing it with this, and that, to me, is a tragedy.

Loved the other app. This one just gave me nothing but trouble. A few examples, the countdown to record wasn’t in time with the clicks, so it was a guessing game on when it was going to start recording. I had to record a few seconds in the first box and then stop and then start recording in the second spot, and then go back and delete the first box to actually hear the clicks. It wouldn’t appear in the first otherwise. It was also out of sync half the time upon playback. Never had this problem with the other app in the couple of years I enjoyed it. Couldn’t even try Trackd without having to sign up for a free trial because there would be a pop up every couple of minutes. Went from absolutely great to very disappointing. Lost me.

There’s a lot packed into Trackd for music lovers and musicians... you can discover talented musicians that get featured on Trackd , you can become part of a collaborative community and there’s a recording interface you can use to capture and develop new song ideas. All good stuff on their own, even better combined into one app!

I've been trying to play and write music for a long time, but couldn't figure out how to do it with Garageband or bandlab while easily keeping track of things. Trackd is very good at letting me be a one person band, in a sense. Once I started using this I fell in love.

Love that this app continues to add new features to the platform. ChipIn is great and the custom VirtualVinyls are a really helpful way to share music on social media.

Trackd used to be great for recording simple songs with, but now it runs so slow, crashes, constantly logs me out, and is overall worse than it used to be. As someone who can’t afford other recording methods right now this is really sad, I wish i could say i love the new app but unfortunately that is not the case.

I think it's an awesome way to start your music and edit it the way you want. I love it. Five stars all the way.

App will not open for me,I’ve downloaded it several times,I love the this app old app and I’m still using it but the new one doesn’t seem to work for me.......

It's great app for musician!!

Why was Trackd even updated to what it was? To be more social and money-making? Okay, sure, I can get behind that but at what costs? For a glitchy, barely working, unreliable, buggy app? Fix your app, it’s like it wasn’t even ready to be launched, let’s go down the lists.
Unlike the original this app:
The Line-Input option, when off, doesn’t pick up audio from the phone’s mic, but instead, the headphone mic STILL. This is an issue because I get too completely different sounds out of the two and I need that flexibility to get the EXACT sound I want from my recordings.
Next, the click track doesn’t even play while recording so there’s literally no point in having it on. Plus, Count In just stays at 4 then records shortly after without display “3, 2, 1”… so I can’t start off my song with the first beat?
Trackd is a joke and a slap in the face from the original… I can’t believe you. This was the only app that was my go-to for recording and uploading music to YouTube. I guess I will have to switch to BandLab or continue using the original. FIX YOUR APP!

This podcast “Reading the Bible in a Year” with Fr Mike is amazing . He explains each verse in a more easier way for one to understand. As for me , this is very necessary and so comforting. I recommend this as part of a daily routine to hear God’s Word and come to know Him better by the power of the Holy Spirit who calls us to open our heart in the name of Christ Jesus.. Amen ​     ‌

I love Trackd so much I connected it to where I can play a game and play music it’s the best thank you for creating the song❤️  ‌​  

I was a huge fan of the original program, not so much of this one. I used the original program as a recording rough draft and the new program only allows you to record once or add retake. The retake has already bounced your original track so can’t make any other changes or add on. It’s a complete 👎👎👎for me.

Very easy to use app you can use it for free with an account but I think it is much more worth it to have a tracked premium account ‍  ​​

I have been using this for EVER this has been the first and only and now I have good quality earbuds and I AM IN LOVE ‍​‍ ‌

It it would be better if they had more variety like YouTube‌‍  ​
