Paid the initial subscription fee of 7 bucks, then another 11 bucks to train my voice. I don’t care for money, thought whatever, it’ll be some nice entertainment. Went through the process but got stuck on phrase 5. It’s impossible for the recording to be long enough to qualify, regardless of how long it is. Not only this, but the training phrases get increasingly cringey, as if the person participating is part of a big joke. I realize now I’ve spent my money and have no product to show for it, and the “developers” are laughing at me.

If you want money that badly, go e-beg for it. At least then someone is willingly giving you money with no expectations. Don’t make an app just to skim people’s pockets for a promise you won’t return on. Beyond insulting. And yeah, I’ll be getting my refund.

Although Banger was appealing to me at first the steep AI voice creating pricing took me a back. Just to see what the fuss was about I created my own AI voice for 500 credits. However the result sounded nothing like what I submitted and sounded incredibly robot like with non stop cracks in covers.

Also, I’ve been using Banger for months now and their app is constantly changing. They removed the ability to add cover art to covers, removed saving to camera roll feature, and made their covers go from the full length of whatever song you choose to just 30 seconds! For free users this is normal, but for users with the subscriptions they should be getting the full song. This is no longer available.

Find it ridiculous that they only provide you one credit a day. In the past you had to use one credit to make an AI cover and another credit to get the full version. So realistically you have to wait two days for a full cover. I get that AI takes a lot to power but don’t have the app free and advertise it as free when it’s barely usable even with a subscription!

If I could post the screenshot I took of the screen that said “try for free” upon download I would post it. They took out $6.99 plus tax from my account and when I got into the app finally it was trying to charge crazy amounts of money for credits to do the things they advertise as free or I suppose paid for now. You can’t even do anything without paying an additional $20 after subscribing. Do not recommend! I don’t care if it seemed cool from TikTok it’s falsely advertised. Also, I do expect an email back about this. I want a refund of the $7.46 you charged me for literally nothing. So tired of this false advertising.
