LMP has so much polish but a couple glaring issues that keep it from being a daily driver.

First, while it supports Plex, Jellyfin etc, there is no obvious way that I’ve found to cache files for local playback.

Second, support for M3U playlists is a pretty basic ask that almost every music player supports, even Apple Music!

Lastly, the ability to assign presets to specific Bluetooth devices would make the EQ infinitely more useful.

In the meantime, I will keep this player installed if only to monitor its development progress.

When will local SMB be supported on Apple TV? Mobile support! Why doesn't the Apple Box support it? Can the developer solve the problem? 什么时候在苹果TV上支持本地SMB啊？移动端都能支持！为什么苹果盒子不支持呢？开发商能解决问题吗？

在tv上，正在播放歌曲时，按下遥控器的 播放|暂停 键后音乐会暂停，这没问题，但是再按播放|暂停键后，音乐不会播放

DSF格式的歌曲没有声音，但时码再走，望下一版更新一下。

One of the best UIs I’ve seen for any self hosted media app, it’s smooth and the customization is great.

I’ve jumped around between a couple of different apps and this one has probably the best features and options out of all, although the EQ is a bit weird and plain, I don’t really use it, so I don’t mind.

The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t support Jellyfin, which currently is the easiest way to setup with LRCGET/LIB and have synced lyrics. And although I could spin up an Emby or Plex container I refuse to considering they both cost money. Not that I couldn’t afford it but seeing as an open source alternative exists it makes zero sense when there is an easily obtained player for Jellyfin already, my biggest gripe being LMPs UI is loads better than Finamps.

I was able to get it to work with the LRCLIB api and got it to automatically pull lyrics from there, however, understanding that synced lyrics through the api don’t work with LMP , plain text lyrics do and they should auto scroll according to LMP description but they never did for me.

I absolutely love the divide artists feature and wish it would be expanded or have custom dividers.

The amount of support for different server types is also a plus, and although I didn’t use it the album api to pull artwork is a nice feature.

The AI playlist is solid although a bit off but could be amazing if expanded, and the only thing missing would be recommending tracks based on listen history or scrobbling.

Overall if you’re not using Jellyfin and don’t need synced lyric support (external LRC) LMP blows all the other apps out of the water with its sleek UI and amazing customization. Looking forward to future updates although I will most likely stick to Finamp until Jellyfin support is added.

Ive tried a lot of apps for music even paid ones and this one does everything I was looking for. Until I found this I was tempted on making my own. Lol thanks Dev!

Usually wouldn’t spend money on an app like this, but this checks so many boxes that the FOSS apps cannot. Awesome app, thank you!

But you got to fix the equalizer, it’s almost impossible to correctly adjust it.

Update: Please add more bands to the equalizer, asap

I hope to integrate the functions of this app assistant into LMP .

I set this up with my Qnap nas after installing Navidrome. I love I can do my Music from Apple TV and create play lists.

I have been looking at multiple apps that would just do music and there are not many that don’t have a subscriptions.

Only issue I have seen is if I leave LMP it keeps playing until until the song ends. It will stop at that point. I would like it if it just kept going.

Can you please add support for word by word lyrics? I see line by line is currently working but not word by word. Also maybe add a way to specify plex library, my audiobooks are being added too

tv端的navidrome总是掉有办法解决吗 基本上每次听都要重新填一遍信息然后同步qwq

希望能把UI再美化下，增加点背景就更好了，纯白纯黑有点单调。tf试用后，直接买了，值得入手

Thank you so much for making LMP! I use it everyday to play music on plex server. UI is beautiful… Might just consider changing name to something more easily searchable on App Store because it’s hard to find.

It’s a good app, supports .Lrc files and has a clean interface. Tho it is missing some features like adjusting lyric font size and a option to chose were the lyrics are. I don’t like the lyrics being in the middle. I would prefer them to be on the left or a way to choose what you like. It also need a way to rearrange songs on playlist and in albums. Other than that it’s a great app and would recommend, Worth the price.
