The game was GREAT in the beginning! Drew me in because it’s a match game with a story line and mini games! Very unique and different! But then I got to a point in the game where it was almost impossible to beat even the simple levels without needing to spend money to take more turns, AND on top of that every other level is either a hard level or a super hard level so you loose that bundle of tools to help you win easier and you have less moves. It becomes impossible to win without constantly buying coins to take more moves. Plus if you lose too many times you fall behind in the endless airplane race. Just another game conned into stealing money from you by making what seems to be a very fun and unique game to turning it into a game that you’ll never win without spending you life savings

I play a lot of match 3 games from this developer. On the other games it’s $1.99 to buy a small pack of boosters. I do but them regularly. On this game the same amount is $4.99. And once you get past the early
Evens you will need boosters. I’m stalling out because that’s too expensive for what you get. It’s not worth spending that much each time you need help with a level. As to the game itself, the puzzles are enjoyable and the mystery is very good. The side games are also good. But the lack of boosters available in game and the cost of buying boosters means it gets frustrating fast.

I loved the game Neil I started to have to kee paying money to beat levels…so not fun t have t keep doing.., the storyline and characters are great. You have a winner game but then you became greedy and th players have o keep paying money to beat the levels. Please don’t respond with every level can be beat, yah , they can with 3 boosters which we don’t have unless we at. The new update doesn’t address any of these issues…unfortunately

I absolutely love the graphics in this game. You never wanna stop playing it. I literally was playing and didn’t even realize three hours had gone by. Definitely worth downloading.!!!!!❤️❤️

I really like this game. It’s easy enough that you can get a sense of the story and makes you want to keep going. And therein lies the problem…it gets to a point where you simply CANNOT continue without spending money for extra turns. It’s crazy. I barely get started and I’m out of turns. REALLY takes the fun out of this game!

I have purchases several packages for additional coins and tools and although I did receive the coins, I did not receive the tools. I did make a couple of additional purchases thinking I was mistaken but I was not. I tried contacting the company and received a generic answer basically indicating I’m wrong and they are right. You might play the game but I would strongly advise against any in-app purchases because you might just get ripped-off like I did. Thank you.

Mystery Matters is the most unique game I’ve played, but making game play impossible without spending money has made me delete the game. There’s not even an option to watch an ad to get more moves.
I wish the developers would make more games like Merge Mansion, where you just play until your energy runs out and have the option to buy, but can continue without purchases.

I enjoy playing Homescapes and I’m thrilled that they opened this one up. It’s very easy to follow the storyline, very relaxing,a few minor curse words, and crisp, clean graphics. I haven’t been able to put it down. Lol.

I get wanting a game to be challenging and exciting but when you give people 17 moves. One free special, and the unlock 38 boxes and break them, clear 28 news papers, collect 34 the keys from the bottom whilst not really getting any good moves. Yeah, it makes the player annoyed and not even want to play. And I refused to spend any money for a game that could at least try for their players to make the levels reasonable.

It’s ok, I’m just waiting for it to get hard to play, then I won’t be interested anymore.

This game was a lot of fun at first, but you get to a certain level and it’s absolutely impossible to beat. I understand they want money, but it shouldn’t be forced in that way, because I am going to delete the game and move on. Not even going to consider spending money when they try to get it that way.

It’s Simple and Fun but the amount of stars you need and complexity of the levels at a certain close to 400 levels is ridiculous and just makes it hard to enjoy .. Also wants your money… 1.99 for 1000 coins is ridiculous it’s not worth spending on at all 🙄🙄

I just started playing and I like the storyline but could immediately tell the gameplay and set up is from Homescapes. This game would have been fantastic if the developer had not stolen from others.

I’m usually picky about what type of games I like to play, but this one, ladies and gentlemen, this is a perfect example of a game that you can play during the spooky season. I love how it’s a matching and solving game, and you can also decorate the house as well. I would recommend you playing this game! 10/10 for me!

This is a fun game, but it’s time to delete. Around puzzle level 167…it goes quick…it becomes impossible to win without spending money. Even then when you buy the over priced bundles you still might not make it through the puzzle even with extra moves.

fun until level 352 which is absolutely impossible. Tried 20 times or so and then just uninstalled it.

Then got to level 37 which was rated as hard but should have been rated impossible!!! Even though you’re given boosters, you don’t get an upgrade in how many moves you have. 😡I tried at least 5 times to win and couldn’t. In disgust, I have deleted it which is a shame because I really was enjoying trying to solve the mystery of it. Maybe down the road, I’ll put back on as I do want to know what happens but not as the game is now because I know I won’t be able to come to that point!

I really like this game but it’s hard to keep going unless you have unlimited lives, power ups or coins to pay the hight price of five more plays. It’s intriguing I’ll give it that and it’s also what keeps me coming back but consider decreasing the difficulty on some of the hard levels so you can at least win them after so many tries or running out of lives, and 900 coins for five more lives? Sometimes I just stop because it gets depressing. Sorry just being honest.

So I’ve loved this game so far and I’m on level 200 and something and I really haven’t spent but maybe $10 on the game just gotta keep trying on the tough levels. But I got to a point where I unlocked a secret island and it won’t let me move on. It just has the characters sitting there and not doing anything. When I hit “skip” it just constantly “fast forwarded” and I let it sit there for like 5+ minutes. Gonna try deleting then redownloading.

I love to play this game but the levels are too hard and too frequent. It’s frustrating when I want to play but can’t move on due to the difficult levels.

I never leave reviews, but I had to share my love of this game! Mystery Matters is in a league of its own. I love the stars earned in a level-to-stars required to complete tasks ratio. And I especially love how you (the player) get to do even the tiniest things, like clearing leaves, matching icons to unlock treasure, mixing potions, etc. Mystery Matters goes above and beyond what other, similar games are only hoping to achieve. You have to play this game! Who doesn't love a good mystery?

I’m somewhat new and only on level 245. At first I thought it would be my favorite game. The finding items games are not timed, the match 3 games “were” pretty easy, and the storyline is really interesting. Now, the levels are so hard, there is no opportunity to earn coins if you are stuck on a level, and the amount of stars needed for some tasks are ridiculous. 17 stars needed when you only earn three at the basic level? Also, they have you do some unneeded tasks that have nothing to do with the story or decorating which is wasteful. Lastly, I was stuck on level 244 forever, and there is no way to earn coins or boosters without purchasing with money. My suggestions for this game -It would be better if they offered a video to watch to earn coins, reduce the number of coins needed for tasks, and somehow let you repeat the dialogue that shows up on the screen as sometimes I’m not sure when they are going to continue to say something and I miss it if I go to play the games. Not sure if I’m going to continue..

This game is very fun. The story line is interesting and it has a mix of some hidden object and color match. I did purchase a couple of $1.99 packs when I first started when I realized how much I liked it. However, I’ve now reached a level that is absolutely impossible to beat without spending money to use power ups. It’s incredibly frustrating because I do enjoy the game. I’m just not spending an exorbitant amount of money to play it. It’s not worth getting involved with playing because it becomes so ridiculously hard that you can’t finish it without spending a decent amount of money to push through.

I’ve really enjoyed playing this game. But now, whenever I open MysteryMatters to play, it takes me to the ‘Creepy Festival - Gold Pass’ with no ability to get out of it and back to the game. Whenever it was opened in the past (the gold pass page) there would be an X to exit and get back to playing the game. There is no X now. And it won’t open any other page when I open MysteryMatters . It’s NEVER done this is the past. This is either a big bug on their app or a major slimy way for them to force people to purchase the gold pass to move forward. We’ll see over the next few days if they address it. 🤞🏼🤨

I love this game as it is pretty much a combination of the Nancy Drew HerInteractive games and Indiana Jones!!
I just downloaded this game yesterday and it’s just been amazing. However, when I opened it today to play it, it crashes. I tried reinstalling it but still the same problem. If the developers could fix this, that would be great!!

This one is not terribly sophisticated, just what I wanted. They present you with a variety of the kind of puzzles I like. There have been no ads. They give you ample opportunity to earn the items needed to play. The pace isn’t frantic and so far, I’ve only spent the $ to get the golden pass booster. Love this game!

I don’t know how many times I watched an ad for this game and thought “sure it’s looks fun, but it’s probably nothing like the ad”. I finally got this game and I wish I’d done it months ago. It is such a great story with so many types of puzzles and locations. I love it so much!!!

I love this game! It is very sensitive tho. Some of the moves I wanted to make and we sure I touched the proper icon the screen move a different icon usually in the games favor! Just watch your touch y'all!!

I gave this only two stars as it looked as though it was going to be interesting and fun. But as soon as I began playing the game the character began using words such as Dammit. How many Christian people are you going to lose as players all over the world simply because you felt the need to have the characters cuss. It’s a pity and was totally unnecessary. The game would have been just as fun without the use of cuss words. I’ll be deleting this game for sure.

Anyone else have the game freeze? Downloaded it the other day and am loving it but am now totally frozen on the screen shot of the basement with the older woman’s portrait hanging off to the side. When I hit “skip” the whole screen has strange gray lines running across it. I really don’t want to reinstall and lose my progress, any suggestions? Thanks!

One thing that really annoys me is when a game feels like it’s forcing you to spend money to advance. Mystery Matters is one such game. It started out great. I love the story and puzzle aspects of the game, but now as I’m approaching level 100, my progress is quickly diminishing. The match 3 levels are becoming extremely difficult, even “normal” levels. The number of moves provided for some levels is so ridiculously low it can’t help but make me shake my head and laugh. I do enjoy the hidden item levels. There should be more of those and less match 3. I can understand wanting players to spend, but things could be a little more fair for F2P players as well. Yet again I’m waiting on my lives to regenerate. My desire to continue playing is fading fast. This game may just end up in the deleted pile with so many others I’ve tried.

I was so excited about this game when I first started to play. Good graphics, interesting storyline and fun characters. Then I came to level 100 and everything started changing. The hard levels got really hard and the very hard levels became almost impossible to beat without tons of power ups. I’m currently stuck at level 118 because there are simply not enough turns available to beat the level without purchasing more turns. I know these games get progressively harder, but this happened way too fast. I’m deleting the game - it left me feeling like this was a not so subtle money grab.

I am enjoying the story. I like all the interactive bits. I like how I have not had to spend any money yet to play this game. Some levels take a long time to eventually beat, but so far I can beat them. This is making me feel good, so I probably will spend a little money soon on the game.

Don’t give this game 5 stars, raise your standards, guys! This game is fun until about level 100 when it becomes a money grab. Delete it once you get there, don’t get sucked into wasting your time grinding and grinding to beat a level. What have we become in this world that a game like this has to cost so much money to win? It’s so gross. It’s like the most basic dumb gameplay ever. I’d happily pay $5-$10 and just get the game and play it, but that’s not how these guys make their money. It’s a stupid game, just admit it to yourself, it’s brain numbing for a little but ultimately what a stupid game to pay money for. Boo.

So I’ve been noticing with this new update, that even though I can make 40 coins or more in a level, you guys will cheat me and only give 30 coins. Why? I don’t know ig it’s a glitch, but I hope you guys fix it. 30 coins doesn’t add up too quickly and also, it’s just not fair to short someone one what they won. Also, why can’t we earn stars in this “tournament”? I hate being stagnant and I’d like to be able to play more of the storyline. Please fix these things.

This game LITERALLY has an ad asking if you’re tired of games advertising false gameplay and being something completely different, and then does the same. The ad shows pin-pulling gameplay, plays on people specifically being tired of match-threes advertising that exact gameplay falsely, and then when you download?

This game starts out fun enough where if you plan well you can beat most levels until you get to a certain point & every level is impossible to beat because of the amount of cookies you have to break & get, the number of letters you’re also required to get and then the regular stuff or clouds or lanterns you have to bust in one game. You will immediately use everything you’ve won and saved so that to keep playing you have to start spending real money. There are too many fun games to be tricked into that so quickly. I played for three or four days and now I’m about to delete it and move on.

When I first downloaded this game I was really getting into the storyline. As I progressed it got somewhat harder which I would expect with most games. As I approached level 64, I tried many times, to only lose my tools that help. This level is nearly impossible unless you have the extra things to help. I used everything I had and now I feel the only thing to do is spend money!
I enjoy playing different games but, I can’t afford to spend money right now so I will have to delete. I’ve tried but money will only help me advance!! Sorry I have to delete!

OK if you’re looking for a mystery game, I think I have found one of the best mystery games out there because this game takes my mind off of everything else going on and this game is so much fun and so interactive. I Think I have come to my new gaming place because not only is this probably one of the best games are there to play but this game is so amazing. Im just like everyone else here leaving the same feedback, but its true. The game has a great storyline and graphics, but unfortunately it becomes nearly impossible to win without you having to spend real money. I despise developers who make their games so difficult that you have no choice but to spend money on it all the time. This company, all of their games are the same. Homescpaes and the other ones are just as hard. They barely give you enough moves to even make it through half the round. Its just simply not fun or enjoyable at that point. I get it that you have to make money to keep up with the game updates but there are other ways. Maybe give us optional ads for extra moves or hearts. But giving you 16 moves on a extremely hard level that you get stuck for days or weeks its not fun or enjoyable. Good Bye!

Let me first say the amount of money I have spent on this game is ridiculous, but I’m obsessed. The only downside is obviously the higher levels you go the more amount of stars you have to spend to decorate something or open something or unlock something and like I said I’m obsessed but it seems like once you finish a hard level or super hard level you get maybe two easy levels after that and then again it’s another hard or super hard level so that can be kind of annoying. Other than that I would say 75% of my time is spent playing this game.

I just finished the 28th attempt to pass a super hard level. 28th. I have used the power ups. No go. The options I’ve gotten take me to the point where I could proceed if only I will buy 5 more and then at least 5 more chances. I’m on level 1279 and have been curious as to how far and how much I would have to spend finally restore the buildings in this endless and increasingly more expensive game. Who knows? It now costs 30 points to buy an icon to stick in another icon’s hand. Just one. There are 6 hands. 180 points to achieve…nothing. No fun choices to make about decor. No options. Just a slog through “do this or go no further” boring requirements. I don’t understand why it has to become so. very. S. L. O. W. Molasses outside in the winter runs faster and is more satisfying to watch.

Enjoying this game for the first 50 levels, then the game stops - returns to the home screen of my tablet. Five tries to win a level and each time I am 5-8move into the game it stops and I see the home screen on the tablet. I have looked in the settings section followed the fixes. Nothing is working. Not a fan of dumping the game but I play games to relax . Not finding this game relaxing when it stops and don’t move past level 60.

I was in the middle of a level and had spent 900 coins on 5 extra turns. I had also spent coins on hammers and shuffles when the game shut down. When I reopened the game, I lost all the coins I spent, no longer had the extra hammers and shuffles, had to start the level over and also lost my extra help from the winners circle. I have spent over $80 dollars on this game this weekend and do not feel I should have to repay for what I lost because the game shut down in the middle of a level All I got in return was questions that were answered in my original message.
They didn’t respond until the next day (not a problem). But only gave me a few hours to respond and closed the issue. Granted that would not have been a problem if it notified me that they responded. The conversation was in the settings and didn’t even have any indication that there was a response. I will not spend another dollar on this game since you basically stole the money I did put into it

I LOVE this game and play everyday and I’ve made quite a few purchases. I’m on level 575 and it keeps telling me there is 1 ring left and there are NO rings left on the board! I’ve played the level twice and it happened both times. I have lost a lot coins because I pay to play on for 5 more lives and nothing works. I even used the helicopters and they just land on random tiles because there is NO ring. Please help! I just deleted and reinstalled the game again I hope this works and I didn’t lose all my progress. To me this is a 5 star game but I’m only giving it 3 because if that. I’m VERY frustrated right now!

I have been stuck on level 762 (a 5 pointer) for several days. I’ve tried every strategy I know. I just have to wait to get lucky. But I’m actually ready to delete the game. One would expect a Super hard game to take this long, but not the average low level ones. My guess is they really want you to buy their extras.

Aside from this, the game is cute and a perfect, clean (except for mild profanity, which surprised me since its a game for children) time waster when I’m trying to relax.

The game is really great. Lots of variety, you don’t get stuck too too often. It’s got a lot of my favorite features from a variety of other games but the profanity is just so out of place. It doesn’t even make sense when you put it in there. It’s more of a shock each time, you add a word that’s so unnecessary. It’s distracting. And that makes me not want to put my heart and soul into your game. Plus you’d be more of a family game if you just took it out. That’s my two cents.

I’ve tried out many match 3 games only to be hit with a massive wall regarding level difficulties. Obviously this game is no exception, but I’ve also found that I end up stuck on them less so than I am in similar games. Mystery Matters throws a metric ton of free power ups and lives at you all the time, which lets you quickly accumulate and save stars, which then allows you to stroll through the story at your own pace and earn even more free rewards. The story is not amazing by any means, but there is an extreme amount of polish and interactivity which drives you in further. The characters are silly and likable, and the vibe of the game is very cozy. I have had the game for about two months and have paid for the past 2 passes and occasionally a few coins to pass a level, but by no means have I had to spend an exorbitant amount to make progress. I’m currently almost at level 1000 and am happy to continue playing and see where the game goes.

I’ve had my own run with quite a good share of 3 match games. I thought this game was good, and the interactions and stories to it are marvelous. But so for I’ve run into levels that just weren’t of good fairness quality. Despite the rewards you get for helping with the levels, the moves programmed into these particular levels like the super hard ones that virtually become un-doable I feel just aren’t enough. The reason I bring this up is because when having to deal with a certain vast quantity and variety of multi-layered objects and cover grass, it feels to me that I have to somehow generate a huge amount of combos and power-ups consistently which is rather spotty. It’s like it’s either “generate power-ups consistently or fail the level or unless you fork out tons of coins to beat the level” sort of thing. It sort of feels like once you get to those particular levels, the legitimacy of quality for fairness comes to an abrupt end. It’s not that I hate the game, it’s just that I’m rather disappointed with the aspect of the whole matter. I wish I could continue, but doing so would only end in fruitless attempts to do the impossible.

I like the story in this game, but, I do not like playing the same game board, 5 lives at a time for days and days. When you have to do that game board after game board, it gets quite monotonous. You forget where you are in the stoy, what you are trying to earn stars for and how many stars you need for the next task. I agree with someone who said you make us use stars for ridiculous, meanial things. I think adding more moves to the match 3 games would be the easiest solution to this problem. I play other match 3 games and none of them have such low number of moves as this game has. Also, it would be nice if at the end of a try on a match 3 board and you could use 900 coins to continue, you could see what you still need, to complete that board. I am going to have delete this game. I cannot spend money just because you designed your game so that you have to spend to win. I have other match 3 games that I can be successful in without spending boo coos of money.

I enjoy matching games up until they start throwing really hard levels at you back to back so you spend money. This game is no exception. The story line is decent and I do like that they mix up the levels. You get to play matching but also finding hidden objects. What I don’t like, is having to play the same level 20-30 times because it’s “super difficult”. I’m not going to buy coins to get that *one* more move I need to beat the game. I work long days and the last thing I want to do at night is get stuck on the same level over and over and over again. It’s a bit frustrating that you can’t move on with the story until you beat several levels, especially when I’ve gotten stuck numerous times back to back. For a matching game, it’s about like the rest of them. The storyline is better and I like that you actually do get to play several types of games. But I probably won’t make it all the way through the game because I’m not willing to spend any money to move forward. Just annoying.

When I downloaded this game, I really liked it. I was breezing through the levels and had plenty of stars. Now, I am at level 120, and I have been stuck on that level for 5 days. 5. Days. I have used up all my power ups, I am 2 stars below what I need to be to progress the story, and I don’t have nearly enough coins to give myself another 5 lives. This is because the levels don’t give you enough moves to beat them, so sometimes you are sort of forced to use power ups. I have been trying for five whole days to beat level 120, but it is impossible with the situation I’m in. Of course, I will never be making in app purchases for this game, so I feel like there is basically nothing I can do. It’s so frustrating and I literally only need two more moves in that level to just move on. I cannot progress through the story anymore because of the level difficulty.

I love the whole scapes series but y’all have really outdone yourselves this time. The combination of match 3, puzzle, image search, etc; ROCKS!!

I'm on level 2600 and I've noticed that the powerups are not performing the same as before. I.E. I had one piece left to remove from the board with one move left at which point I activated a helicopter power up which in earlier levels would have taken out the last piece automatically. On a separate occasion I combined a lightning and a helicopter which created multiple helicopters that all targeted a single piece instead of separate targets. Is this normal?

The game is definitely overall fun and I was very interested in the storyline of the game but some levels are completely difficult and impossible to pass without spending money on coins or using power ups. This game is designed to have you spend money, I’ve only gotten to level 140 and I’ve gotten stuck quite a few times on other levels which are very hard. Then when I finally end up beating the hard level I get one normal level then right back to a “hard” or “super hard” level making it impossible to actually enjoy the game and the storyline itself. Hopefully this will be fixed for other games to come but it’s seriously annoying and I have uninstalled the game since.

You get about 20 hours of gameplay before it gets ridiculously hard. No way to win levels without spending money. Very few opportunities for freebies and coins. If you do decide to spend money, the game will make you lose it very quickly. Levels will get just close, but not a win without using up your purchases quickly. I like the Playrix games. It’s the reason I tried this one. They are well written and fun to play. I Currently have 2 of their other games that I do spend money on when I need to. But this one is frustrating beyond belief and feels like a total rip off. Which is disappointing because it looks like it would be a fun storyline and game. I would not recommend this game to anyone. Very unfair, even if you spend money.

I am sure it’s just a glitch but my game seems to be stuck on the chat part. I am seeing the same message for the past week for help from other team players but when I hit help it comes right back. Also when I click on a button to go to the chat. It kicks me out the first time every time! I always have to go back into the chat twice every time. And it just now kicked me out of select collecting the prizes on one of them and I didn’t get them. So I think this is a glitch and I’m sure it’s easily fixed but I don’t know how to get a hold of help.

I don’t know why everyone keeps advertising the mini games, especially when you hardly EVER get them & they don’t make sense or are different when you do get them. The game is matching shapes just like a crappier version of Candy Crush , that Kingdom one always advertised & all those house decorating ones, etc. Why can’t the ads be correct? I deleted it as soon as I saw that stupid matching stuff but I can give them credit for one thing, after being excited because it said it was the real games shown I was actually excited for a game to download for once in a long time (they aren’t what they say, to many advertisements, money to get anywhere, etc. game after game) it was a HUGE letdown. Now I do my research first, read about it, look at all the pictures (if I see one set of fruit matching rows or whatever picture I’m out instantly) read the reviews and sometimes even google about it because I don’t want any of the liars to get that extra download count credit. That’s why they lie! They make money on how many downloads they get , doesn’t even necessarily matter how long it’s kept just that it was downloaded so basically it’s clickbait!

Game hooked me pretty quickly. Liked that it had a story to go along with the fairly standard 3-match game gameplay, which was fun. However, difficulty/impossibility ramps up pretty quickly (within the first 100 levels) to the point where I would I have to play the same level for weeks to win or shell out cash for the “gold pass” that gives you 5 extra moves on all levels for a month (where you will need to spend more money to renew the gold pass). In the end, storyline wasnt intriguing enough to get me to shell out cash. Also, irritating that all the minigames they show in the advertisements for the game (which is why I downloaded it), dont appear to actually be in the game.

I’ll start by saying I love this game. I’ve been playing faithfully every day for a while and love the storyline. However I finally reached level 3000 yesterday and then was told I’d played all available levels and it stuck me in a “Winner’s League Competition”. Which would be fine but I was halfway through the storyline and the games stopped giving me stars to complete the tasks. I hoped maybe once I finished the competition it would go back to giving me stars, but it didn’t. It just stuck me in another Winner’s League thing. How am I supposed to complete the story if I can’t get the stars to do it? It’s not like the story has run out, just the match 3 levels which makes no sense. I had just spent money to get more coins too and now there’s no point in using them. I don’t get why the Winner’s League can’t continue to give you stars so you can keep playing the story. Really disappointed.
