The style and setup of the game is my favorite type of merge game. A grid, recipes, goals. No ever expanding map and weekly challenges you need to play all day to complete.

However, the refill time of the item generating tiles takes so long, you can play maybe up to five minutes every five or six hours. Also some items are so rare, you never complete some of the goals or level up. I finally got to level 10 after a month, and I still have four of the original cobwebbed items from when I started because you never get those items to merge with and unlock them.

I realize this is planned so that you spend money in micro-transactions, but it’s all so frustrating. And why would anyone play a game that is frustrating instead of fun?

This game actually used to be fun and I preferred it to other merge games, but subsequent changes from the devs have made it a clear money grab.
1) First they removed the piggy banks a few months ago so money and gems are now very hard to earn (you can only now get them from bubbles so you need to watch ads so you make the devs more money).
2) While they made changes to tasks to make them two parters and slightly lowered the final chain in existing requests, the game requires merging things which take literally MONTHS like to create generators like the beehive (produce wax) and the couch (produce bones) that are SINGLE USE and then you have to start back at square one. It is ridiculous. If you need to wait that long to create a generator, then it should be one that is permanent.
3) They recently increased the gem costs of everything in bubbles by at least double which is so obviously a blatant money grab that it's kind of gross. You already have a hard time getting gems and now it costs even more. No thanks.

Lastly, the Halloween event with the random boosters is laughable. It's a once a day option and it will frequently give you only a level 3 from a generator, which is frankly nothing.

I've tried this game and stick it out for several months only to see the devs get greedier and greedier instead of caring about their player's gaming experience. I am deleting this and going back to different games that don't bait-and-switch their players.

Update: now I can’t get the ads to open for the free energy or the free spin. I have been working on the ONLY task I have for weeks and I’m only half way done…and I tried to spend some money - it didn’t help much. The items I need coke for sale for 1800 coins, which takes forever to make, especially when you can’t get the free energy. I’m done with this.

Most of the recent updates were helpful and made the game much more user friendly. However, where did the daily piggy bank go?!? I only see the option to get the piggy bank when leveling up, which happens infrequently. So I have to occupy 1-2 spaces for days/weeks to merge the piggy banks?!? I also noticed that the prizes for tasks are less lucrative. I think I would prefer the less user friendly game with better prizes and daily piggy bank. Edit: now you have to purchase coins with gems! Gems are significantly more expensive than the coins were. This update really decreased my enjoyment of the game

I actually really enjoyed this game in the beginning. But the further you get, the worse it is. I have been working on the same task for almost 2 months now, and it is the easiest one in the task list! Also, not too long ago, they added gem and coin pop ups which would be fine, except ONE POPS UP EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU MERGE SOMETHING. since I’m working on getting to one item for so long, my board is always entirely full. Merge one thing and boom a pop up comes and you have to wait an entire minute for that space. Or you can watch an ad. I’m done watching 15 ads a day for little to nothing in return. I literally open the game and get hit with 4 pop ups in a row so I end up instantly closing it out of frustration. Just deleted the game today 🤷🏻‍♀️ there are many more merge games just like this that do not bombard you with random ads.

This game should learn from Merge Mansion. 1. Giving 1 energy every 12 minutes is ridiculous. Even after waking up in the morning your energy isn’t refilled. 2. Merge Mansion gradually introduced new things to merge. This game throws 20 different things that give off other things at you all at once from the beginning. When you have no energy, and can’t figure out which items make which items it just becomes a huge confusing glob of stuff with no room to put anything. I was excited to see another game like merge mansion, I even paid $2.99 for gems but after 3 days I can’t get anywhere and it just looks like a confusing mess of too much stuff that needs to be merged right from the door. This game needs better organization, needs to start off slower, and needs the energy to build up faster.

I have played this game for months and am seriously considering deleting it. It has great graphics and play is easy enough. What i struggle with is I have been on the same quest for WEEKS trying to get enough soap bars to max out for TWO of my quests. Problem being that the soap rarely gets dropped so the likelihood of maxing out two will take several months. I’m not opposed to spending a little money, but this game is EXPENSIVE. The cost of using coins or even buying diamonds is way overpriced as compared to other games. The daily quests was a nice addition BUT it uses the items that are impossible to get so you are basically starting back over at square one if you do a daily quest. Poor game execution that has potential, but sadly the updates are coming too slowly.

I like this game, but it has its annoyances. The bubbles popping up is nice if you’re collecting gems or money, but it’s WAY too frequent, especially when you have limited space. Forcing you to wait for a minute or watch an ad is manipulative.
My biggest peeve though, is I just upgraded to a level 10 garden hose, and now it only drops one seed before timing out! Impossible to get my beehive when I have to wait approximately 30 minutes PER SEED!
It would be nice to have some lower level tasks as well as the ones you have to work days on. Also, the storyline seems to have disappeared. I’m just fixing a house without any idea who I’m doing it for or why?!

This game definitely has potential to be a fun game. When I first started I gave it 5 stars but now that I have been playing it I am reducing it down to two and more than likely following up with deleting it. The reason being it just feels like they are trying to force the player to make in app purchases if they actually want to play the game for any amount of time. For example, when you tap objects that will drop new objects to merge they only drop one or two then they stop and you either have to wait half a day or use diamonds to speed up the process. Or if you need a nail to complete an objective the tool box only drops one nail out of 30-40 tries but guess what they have them for sale! I’m not against paying money to advance in a game but I have to be able to enjoy it a little too. The time restrictions on your objects really take away from the enjoyment. I thin I’m going to walk away from this game before I put any money into it. I just don’t see it getting better.

Compared to similar games with the limited grid of items to merge, this one has the perks of being able to earn coins or jewels more frequently. It also gives you the info on where to find the object you need. So, why am I deleting it? Mainly, because of the ads. Sure, this is how you get your gems, but it’s difficult to close the ad once it has finished without going to MergeMatters Store more than once. The area with the “>>” and “x” is so small that you rarely get it the first time, so it appears that you are more interested in downloading the advertised game than you are. After a while, it just gets frustrating to go back and forth multiple times trying to close it, so I decided the frustration wasn’t worth it. So you either wait a full minute to get your free space back or play an ad for about 30s to get the prize, but then you end up in that back and forth game. Just not worth it.

Like many others have said, this game is a lot of fun at first, for maybe the first hour or two of play time, but you quickly hit a wall where it becomes crazy difficult to complete tasks.

I can see how a game like this would want to increase difficulty gradually over time, but this is far from gradual. One minute it’s fun and casual and the next thing you know it takes days to get the items that you need for completing anything.

It sounds like the developers are taking a look at this, and hopefully there will be a fix soon, but for now I am uninstalling.

Note to the developers from a fellow app developer: I would advise increasing the difficulty much more slowly. It should barely be noticeable from a player’s perspective. Mobile apps are played 15-20 minutes per session a few times a day on average. It’s literally impossible for the “everyday Joe” to make any sort of progress in this game’s current state. You have to keep the sense of achievement fairly consistent to keep the player hooked, which can’t happen when it takes days to complete a task. Right now you can really only rely on the whales to keep this game afloat.

I really like this game and I play pretty much everyday. There are a lot of issue I have with the game.

1. Some goals take way too long to meet because it takes forever to get the items you need. For example, I needed a candle for a task. In order to get a candle, you need beeswax. Beeswax comes from the beehive, which is created by merging bees. Bees come from flowers, which are made from seeds that come from the watering cans. No matter how much you merge the water and, only one seed comes out per cycle. You need I think 16 seeds to merge all the way to a full flower, which produces the bees. 3 bees come from a flower, and the flowers are a one time use. You need tons of bees to merge all the way to the beehive which produces the wax. I just made it to that level of the beehive and felt relieved that I made it after over a month, just to find out that the beehive only produces TWO wax pellets AND that it is also a one time use. Two pellets isn’t enough to make a candle. So I’m back to square one. This leads me to my next issue.

2. Task disappear after a while. I’ve been working towards the candle task for over a month. Yesterday, not too long before I merged enough to get some wax, the task disappeared from my list. This has happened three times now for different tasks. They don’t say you having a certain amount of time to complete it. Extremely annoying.

You can play till a certain point then it’s just impossible to get the items cuz the spawn rate of an item is too rare like tape is I’m in need of bolts but I can’t get tape I’m sure if I had more tool boxes I might atleast get 1 out of 2 spawn charges which doesn’t drop a lot even if it’s leveled up Watering cans dropping just one item no matter what level it is is just a waste I now have 2 watering cans and 4 lamps previously 5 till I sold it for more room there’s just not enough room to drop stuff to merge so u can have a power drill level drop item and takes forever to get enough coins to even buy a storage space With the flaws of this game it’s okay but could use some fixing and it will be better Yes this is basically a merge mansion knockoff but I’m here for it cuz merging!
Edit: nooooo you updated and got rid of the daily free piggy bank though it wasn’t exactly free you had to watch an ad but you still got rid of it 😭
Edit 2: I LOVE the new floating bubbled items now I don’t have to wait for them to pop so I can use the space it’s in I just have to move them around if they’re in the way! Thank you for this improvement!😍

I’ve had this game for a while now and still have barely managed to make any progress in this game.

1 - Energy take w a y too long to restore, four minutes is a bit punishing.

2 - Items are way too high in level. Items take forever to get and you can spend days at a time attempting to get one and adding that onto the slow energy recover, it’s just just agonizing

3 - Story for older players. See I came at an early time with barely any story, it would be nice to have an option to review the beginning story or such for people who never got to see it, or missed it by accident.

4 - Little give, lots of take. Things are expensive compared to how much they sell for, they don’t even sell for half. It’s hard to gather coins and there’s never enough space to get max piles since you need so much for the big items. Gems are scarcely given anyway, but you need so many just to buy things that barley even affect getting to big items.

If all of these could b revised and/or fixed that would make MergeMatters a lot less stressful and more fun to play. Make the game rewarding, but a little challenging. It’s no fun if you’re always struggling to get piece by piece, finishing one goal after days of playing.

Okay so first off, the game is pretty fun but there are some problems. The main problem is that it takes 11 minutes to receive 1 energy... which means to get all 100 energy it would take over 18 hours. That is ridiculous, not sure why anyone thought that was an appropriate amount of time to wait. The second thing is that when you start the game there is no tutorial, thankfully for me the gameplay is pretty intuitive but for others that might not be the case. It also comes across as lazy that no tutorial was implemented. Both of these things need to be changed for it to be a 5 star game.

Love playing this game, it’s sometimes tough to wait out on getting items refill but I appreciate the fact that I can just take my time instead of beating the game in just a few minutes. I also love the new feature they just added on with getting gems in bubbles and watching the ads for stuff. The only thing I really have to complain about is the server connection, it likes to disconnect on me a lot and I have trouble watching the ads for items that I see in the store I want due to that. Great game overall thou, ty for the work you put in!

This game is so fun but lately it is having a ton of glitches… it keeps bumping my progress backwards.. I have enough gems to merge to make 20, I merge and then collect them but it keeps bumping me back to my old gem count.. also I keep tapping the different items that have taps available, merging the items that come out of the tree, etc. but then it glitches and it’s like none of those merges or taps ever happened, except that the items I tap still are timed out! It’s frustrating.. I hope it gets fixed soon, I love playing merge games and this one is one of my faves. Without this issue it’s five stars for sure!

I have been playing this game for months now. And I really love it. EXCEPT….. I do NOT love the fact that every time I merge something a bubble comes up to watch an ad for a diamond or coins. This would be idle IF it didn’t take a full minute for the bubble to go away…. I wish there was an option to either delete the bubble if we wanted too, or move the bubble of the ad content to the outer part of the screen, and off the spots on our boards….. the board is pretty filled up and small enough now and when we keep getting bubbles it’s VERY frustrating. I’m also a supporter of MergeMatters and buy diamonds occasionally to complete tasks that take forever…. So please FIX THE BUBBLES WITH ADS. Like I said it would be cool and ideal if they could be moved out of the board area and hover “in the background” so it isn’t taking up the board space. I mean we can already move those bubbles, so why not let us move them off the board and into the background? Other than that I love the game.

Love the concept of the game & is really fun. Graphics are beautiful & runs smoothly. My issue is how slowly energy recharges. I’ll leave the game for hours & come back to only 10 energy points. Left it over night, only to wake up to 50! Similar games fully recharge after a few hours, encouraging me to play more. As it is, I’m sure to get bored & give up the game. Will adjust to 5 stars if this is ever remedied.

I’m reading reviews that say there are no levels past 32. Is this real? If so, it seems that the developers should make efforts to add levels. I’m at the end of level 31. I enjoy this game more than any of the other merge games so I don’t have problems with paying for gems, etc. Its part of my Covid release. Needless to say, I’ll be very disappointed in the developers if they aren’t making efforts toward getting more levels done. I’ve put a pretty penny into this one. Also, I’ll be disappointed just because I enjoy the game and I’ll miss the opportunity to be mindless for an hour or so each day! I hope this review is unnecessary and is for nought.

I’ve played a lot of merge games lately, and I have to say I like this one best. There are many ways to earn in game currency without having to purchase expensive packs. The item trees are easy to follow and figure out. The extra slots and other things do not cost too many coins. Overall smooth gameplay and enjoyable.

I get a purchase error message after i completed a task on merge matters and it says completed but instead of diamonds iget that error message everytime i start up the gane
