You can use the website fine, but after every chat it’ll say “Unlock the full chat experience! get the Emerald App now and see what you’re missing” but it doesn’t say that you need to pay to actually use EmeraldChat .

They will not cancel my subscription and I can’t do it myself

EmeraldChat doesn’t match with anybody I like the features. I’m OK paying for it. The problem is it just doesn’t matter with anybody. Seriously, not had a single match and I’ve left EmeraldChat open staring at my face for 10 minutes

This is stupid. The site was fun, but now with the constant ads for an app I can’t even use, coupled with the statement you want to make an app for free accounts but that’s paid, I’m done.
You have lost another user, both on and off the website. Hope you learn from the dropping userbase.

Constant bugs. Can’t even load a chat. Infinite loading when trying to find a chat. Then they ask you every time to pay for EmeraldChat . Why would I pay for an app that doesn’t work. And Devs don’t leave some half asssed response about sending yo ha screenshot. You know what’s wrong. Fix it.

Website is pretty good but I was looking forward to trying EmeraldChat but of course you have to pay a ridiculous amount just to even use it makes absolutely no sense they make you pay like $10 just to use it no thank you especially when downloading it is completely free make it make sense.

I got emerald and have been signing in using my Apple ID and bought the sub and haven’t been able to chat at all I’ve clicked and it does nothing I’ve also upgraded to platinum and this didn’t fix it I tried deleting my account but whenever I try to make a new one after “deleting my account” it still signs me into a bugged version of my previous account for apple

it’s nothing like the website it’s absolutely horrible

I was liking the web version so I bought a paid sub. They then updated the UI on the browser version in a way that is harder to navigate so I downloaded EmeraldChat . Finding people to text simply doesn’t work, it either infinitely loads or shows you a hundred profiles in rapid succession that don’t fit search criteria. And honestly most frustrating of all is the GIANT banner to buy a higher tier membership that never leaves the top of the screen. Like why would i buy a membership just to be constantly told to but more??

After I went to check into the website after not being in it for a bit, and then getting EmeraldChat finally, I opened it and don't like how so much was changed. It's more difficult to navigate, and harder to search up users, and view other profiles. Also the chat engine to find other's with similar interests, is also more different and difficult to use. I hope it gets more updates and development to be easier to use.

When I try to look for people to chat with it just loads eternally. I can only use the web browser on my phone to chat with people and if we add each other then I can start chatting with them through DMs on EmeraldChat . This kind of defeats the purpose of downloading an app though if I can’t even use the main function of it.

its not letting me login at all, its fine on the website but on app i tired logging in thru google and it just says failed login (wrong response)

So EmeraldChat itself isn’t bad, I would definitely recommend the website more. But the main issue I have is getting your pfp checked. It’s takes a while, so just to test it I changed my username almost 40 ish time before one of my pfp got checked, I understand why it takes long, but it take an ungodly amount of time to get it checked and ready for use.

Make the profiles easier to tap, trying to view a profile is like trying to tap a specific nanocentimeter.

I like EmeraldChat but they’re is lots of horny creeps were old men and stuff so yea I will Ive this a 4/10 = 9/10

I enjoy EmeraldChat and some features

Been using Emerald for months now and it’s been pretty solid. The people who complain about having to pay just want to talk to specific people in certain areas and at that point they should just be using Tinder or Bumble.

Emerald also has a great interface making it super easy to access certain areas of the site. I highly recommend EmeraldChat if you’re just looking to chat with people and have great conversations.

You’re not forced to pay to use the platform if anyones concerned. You do have to purchase memberships to talk with specific genders and or people in certain areas of the world which is fine but those who are against it are looking for something other than genuine conversations and like I mentioned before, Tinder & other dating apps fulfill that role.

Really excited to see this place grow into something more. Big props to the Emerald team for making a great place to communicate after the shutdown of Omegle.

W app all around just make it so text chat is also in video chat

Everyone should download EmeraldChat it functions good it doesn’t lag and all the conversations are pretty nice
