Ok could use improvement

The games is ok it takes to long to do stuff and your warehouse storage fills up,to fast and I think they should also let us put things in inventory so we can rearrange our town. You run out of to much space unless you want to spend real cash that’s where they get you they know it takes to long to get stuff on your own and people will eventually give in and spend real cash. Some games are not so good to be spending real cash.

Defects in Game

First, the contact support button does nothing within the game. Second, this is a bit more complicated. There is a sizing issue on my iPad mini 6 where if one expands the conveyor belt to $500, the free speed up button (to far left) cannot be touched as it is running off the to the left. If you could size the conveyor down just a bit and move it move to the right then the free speed up button will show up. I know it's there because I can see a piece of it. Plus if you can't fix this, there is no reason to spend money on this game as I am not getting the full experience. Third, it could be my iPad and the relationship with this game. When I pick an item on the conveyor belt, sometimes it picks the item on either side by mistake. I have tested this several times to be sure I am not causing the problem. This is a minor issue but never the less very annoying especially when one does not have enough room in the storage warehouse. I'll update rating when defects are resolved Thank you.

Do not waste your time

The game starts out at a fairly decent pace, the mechanics work great and time flies as you play. Then the issue with the warehouse pops up, you either need more money than brains to start expanding it or if RNG gods are on your side and you managed to get the needed supplies you can expand it for free. I realize game devs need to pay the employees who create these games but this one goes overboard asking for money on every turn, you would be better off buying a scratch ticket than investing in this game.

Typical dead-end Builder

As with all these in-app purchase games, there’s always some throttle points. In Steam City, it’s the warehouse. It’s far too small to handle all the baubles they throw your way, and you can’t really upgrade it without paying for it. and paying. And paying. And paying. So you quickly get to a point where you really can’t do anything because you don’t have enough, and you can’t make more because the warehouse is too small. Meh.

$100 spent and still getting pop up ads. No support

available unless you open yourself to sim jacking by turning on 2 factor.
As you advance the game becomes more and more buged. Ships do not pay unless you load one by one and then send them. Blueprints earned often do not register. Items you sell become stuck so you have to use game dollar bills to make more slots.
Steam plant and other large items are absurdly difficult.

It’s great fun but needs better play

Too hard to build items like the Paris tower, without buying items with real money. Give more time as well. I find to get the most fun out of this game you have to continually buy items using real money. That makes it not as fun. I’m willing to pay some, but you have to pay for a lot of items separately (like upgrades). I’m not even sure it’s possible to build the extra items (like the tower and now the bridge) without paying money. I think that’s a too much. However, the incredible graphics make it worth playing.

A great but very expensive game

I really love the game and the graphics and the entire concept. Its an easy going game where you have to build a city.

However the value for money is very low. If you want to actually play you need to start paying big bucks. I mean i am happy to pay like $10 or $15 per month to get a pass or something, but here, devs have become greedy and $15 per day isnt enough.

Sorry devs, at the end its not worth it i rather help someone in need than collecting whatever it is to collect that day.

Fun buggy mess

The game itself is beautiful. However there are a lot of problems, the game can be laggy at times, they host way too many events in a short amount of time, they will also have multiple events going on at one time. Forget to play the game for one day and you could miss an entire event. The events themselves are also sometimes insanely difficult and need to pay to win, such as the boss fight events. Way too much health for the tiny amount of time provided to get anywhere near the end reward. I’ve also gotten softlocked due to the events because the game forces you to open the events before you can just casually play the game, those events sometimes glitch and pop up infinitely meaning I’ll have to wait 1-2 days for the event to finish so I can play the game again. The game is fun, but the events are too many, too short, and too glitchy

Fun game play

Great relaxing game play since the build isn’t time sensitive and you don’t lose parts of your city simply because you build slowly. It definitely requires in-app purchases to make progress though so if you’re looking for something inexpensive, this might not be the best option. I personally rather pay a one time fee for a game, but I understand, it’s incredibly challenging to run a business with so little revenue.

That being said, fun, relaxing, and neat to see how the city develops as you go!

Great game…but… (nothing that bad, however)

I love the appearance of this game, but it does take a little while to get used to. In that regard, I could wish there was some additional help to look at. I also find it a bit expensive to play, as well. One last thing I could wish for was that it was 3-dimensional so you could rotate and move up and down to view it from all angles. All that aside, I do love playing it, and expect to for a long while!

Great game

I feel that this is a great game. I really have enjoyed it but when I try to craft some metal bars and it takes me to the ore mining area, the bottom icons don’t change to collect the ore. I have to get out of that screen and collect the ore independently of the little magnifying glass tool that takes you to the correct building to collect pieces to craft the next item. Please iron this out. Other than that, no quarrels.

Fun and here are some suggestions

I am enjoying this game. It’s just strategic enough in that you have to think about what you want to build or upgrade and plan accordingly in order to manage the storage limitations. The look of the game is cool!

Here’s what I would like to see: A way to permanently upgrade the speed of different factories and raw material processors. Why am I spending so much time grinding/ maxing out the wood processing area when it still takes 15 minutes to produce one piece of the larger logs?

I’m at level 23 now. The game is starting to get repetitive but I’m still into it for now.

PS- thank you for having the options to view ads in an unobtrusive way!

Good and interesting game but….

The exhortations to buy packs are relentless. I don’t mind investing a little money in a game - after all, they did spend time and resources developing it - but the packs are expensive for what they offer and you get the pleas to buy them shoved in your face constantly.

That being said, it is a good game and fun to play if you like city building type games.

Pretty fun so far!

Just started came and up to level 18. Nice graphics. Lots of events to keep you busy. Meet little villages to have a goal of getting to. The reason I only have it 4 stars is they make it pretty difficult to expand the storage so in order to do everything and keep up with the pace you either have to spend money or be on it for 24 hours a day!! I can’t do either so it can be a bit frustrating and makes me want to just put it down. Other than that it’s a fun game to keep me busy when I’m bored!

It’s not bad

The game is fun, but here are three things they need to fix.

The size of the city is small. You will expand out to the limit in no time and run out of space to build cool things.

The ship economy is poor. To clear a ship, you will occasionally have to provide a big ticket item for a pittance of what it’s worth. This needs more balance.

The marketplace now clears items very slowly. The prices were also updated without warning. I now have expensive items up for sale that now max out for much less than my asking price. I can’t take them down without paying a cash “ransom”.

Almost a five

Hi there! I’ve been playing for several weeks now and there are a few pros to this game. First off, it’s beautiful! The graphics are wonderful. There are enough tasks to keep you busy for a bit, but not too overwhelming (at first). Which brings me to the cons….. I have yet to figure out what joining a group does for you. It is impossible to find friends whatsoever. Then, if you don’t spend money (of which I have, quite a bit) it will be impossible to tackle any of the larger builds. Needling thousands of specific pieces to go ‘cross river, to build railroad and the coal factory is insane. This ,of course, depends on these being just for paying people? Now for my most upsetting issue. In order for me to move on, I need hundreds of thousands of dollars in game. This is seriously going to take me over a week to accumulate. We can only sell 5x of an item at a time for the most just over a few grand. I need 150k just to build 1 new manufacturing building. Now take into account that we only have so much room in the warehouse and the fact I need to collect items in order to sell them…. This part is seriously lacking. I’m not even sure what to do to make it better except find more ways to make more cash as you progress. Between shipping and selling, it’s just not enough cask flow in to keep my interest.

So far, love the game

I’ve tried several other similar games and this one is by far my favorite. I’ve spent a bit, but it isn’t required. I’ve been completely able to progress without spending. I’m currently level 18, and am very glad to have found this game.

Impressed

Old Sim City player here. I am on level 18 and so far I am impressed. The graphic detail is nice, game play is easy to understand, and rewards come enough to make you feel like you are accomplishing growth. If I just had to find a negative it would be not being able to turn my city to see it from different angles. Everything else is spot on. If you enjoy city building I would give this game a try. So far so good.

Addicting Game

I absolutely love this game, it’s easily my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. It delivers exactly what it advertises - no pointless minigames that stop you from progressing, and an engaging gameplay experience that doesn’t stop you from doing anything at a certain level without an in app purchase. There are in app purchases, but you don’t need them to continue to progress at a decent rate. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

I like the game but hate the horrible ad!

I really enjoy both Build a city and global city, but the ad with the civilization being build and live baby animals being sawed in half. Please let me continue to enjoy this game without that ad, thank you
