I’ve been getting ads for this app for ages and decided to download. NOWHERE in advertising, the App Store, or the app itself does it explicitly say that events are local to NYC (and near Jersey) only. I have no idea why people are giving S’mores 5 stars and saying “great idea!” when they can’t even use it. If you can’t expand to other cities, at least be up front about it.

There’s something very interesting with the weekly lottery. For the past two weeks, the same person won the lottery both weeks. I’m concerned and confused with how the lottery works now. Is there any randomization or is it just through favoritism? I will be keeping an eye on future weekly lotteries.

They advertise to New Yorkers with free events on other platforms. This app is just a waste of time and they want to collect data. For instance making the app basically useless unless you give full access to your photos, lame…
