The interface of the Uxcel Go app seems pretty intuitive. However, I was disappointed by how limited the content is for free users. I thought it would be more similar to the full website and/or that it would sync the progress that I made on the full site. This seems to be completely separate. Not sure how I feel about the 30 second timer concept explanations being in the same flow. The time pressure for the quiz questions makes me want to skip past the explanations even though I know I'm not timed on those screens.

I was pretty skeptical downloading this app, but Uxcel Go totally surprised me — in a good way.
🖼 First Impressions & UI
The login page was the first thing I saw, and it had a few issues on my small screen. Also, the “Sign in with Google” button being the only purple box felt out of place.
But once I got in? Smooth. Clean. Sleek. The UI was simple and intuitive, with nice rounded edges that gave it a modern vibe.
📚 Learning & Features
You can either dive into the theory or go straight to the quiz — which I loved. The lessons were organized, informative, and engaging. My only gripe? The theory sections sometimes have a LOT of text, and it’s easy to get lost if you’re not focused.
🚀 Performance
Flawless. It ran super smooth, and I didn’t notice any bugs or crashes. Big win.
💸 Cost & Access
Now here’s the catch… You only get the first unit of each course for free. After that, you need a Pro Subscription. Same thing that happened with Mimo, and yes — my heart shattered again.
🎯 Final Thoughts
This app is amazing if you’re serious about learning UI/UX and willing to pay. If not, you’ll probably feel stuck pretty fast. But content-wise? It’s top-tier.
Overall: Incredible app — just be ready to open your wallet.

Often, learning tools don't give enough, barely touch the surface, or are very rudimentary.
Not Uxcelpro. This app is a well-built library of all the information needed to learn UX/UI effectively. From the time of lessons to the quality and difficulty of the exams, arcades, leaderboards, projects, assessments, job boards, and certifications, everything is done just right.
An example would be how lessons have videos attached to them to demonstrate an action, etc. Or how the leaderboards exist, yet they are not overpowered like Duolingo. Yeah, you can get to the successive league if you score x number of points, but we aren't going to harass you with that kind of vibe. The arcade games are a good challenge to test your skills and hone your design abilities. They get incrementally tricky as you go.
For me, the most beneficial part of this app is that the exams are not so easy. They are worded in a way that enables you to think and actually know the concept instead of just recalling obvious words. I've had to redo certain lessons just to fully grasp the content. To me, that's a sign of a legitimate education platform.
All I'm saying is that I am ten times more confident in my learning path with this resource gem. I don't use it as my primary education tool, but it easily can be used as so.
