Has potential

The interface of the this app Go app seems pretty intuitive. However, I was disappointed by how limited the content is for free users. I thought it would be more similar to the full website and/or that it would sync the progress that I made on the full site. This seems to be completely separate. Not sure how I feel about the 30 second timer concept explanations being in the same flow. The time pressure for the quiz questions makes me want to skip past the explanations even though I know I'm not timed on those screens.

An Incredible App- Better If You’re Willing To Pay

I was pretty skeptical downloading Uxcel, but this app Go totally surprised me — in a good way.

🖼 First Impressions & UI

The login page was the first thing I saw, and it had a few issues on my small screen. Also, the “Sign in with Google” button being the only purple box felt out of place.
But once I got in? Smooth. Clean. Sleek. The UI was simple and intuitive, with nice rounded edges that gave it a modern vibe.

📚 Learning & Features

You can either dive into the theory or go straight to the quiz — which I loved. The lessons were organized, informative, and engaging. My only gripe? The theory sections sometimes have a LOT of text, and it’s easy to get lost if you’re not focused.

🚀 Performance

Flawless. It ran super smooth, and I didn’t notice any bugs or crashes. Big win.

💸 Cost & Access

Now here’s the catch… You only get the first unit of each course for free. After that, you need a Pro Subscription. Same thing that happened with Mimo, and yes — my heart shattered again.

🎯 Final Thoughts

Uxcel is amazing if you’re serious about learning UI/UX and willing to pay. If not, you’ll probably feel stuck pretty fast. But content-wise? It’s top-tier.

Overall: Incredible app — just be ready to open your wallet.

A real resource

Often, learning tools don't give enough, barely touch the surface, or are very rudimentary.

Not Uxcelpro. Uxcel is a well-built library of all the information needed to learn UX/UI effectively. From the time of lessons to the quality and difficulty of the exams, arcades, leaderboards, projects, assessments, job boards, and certifications, everything is done just right.

An example would be how lessons have videos attached to them to demonstrate an action, etc. Or how the leaderboards exist, yet they are not overpowered like Duolingo. Yeah, you can get to the successive league if you score x number of points, but we aren't going to harass you with that kind of vibe. The arcade games are a good challenge to test your skills and hone your design abilities. They get incrementally tricky as you go.

For me, the most beneficial part of Uxcel is that the exams are not so easy. They are worded in a way that enables you to think and actually know the concept instead of just recalling obvious words. I've had to redo certain lessons just to fully grasp the content. To me, that's a sign of a legitimate education platform.

All I'm saying is that I am ten times more confident in my learning path with this resource gem. I don't use it as my primary education tool, but it easily can be used as so.

Impressive UX Learning Platform!

I’ve been an active user of this app for a while now and I must say, the launch of the native iOS app is a game-changer! Uxcel provides a seamless learning experience, allowing me to dive into UX courses wherever I am. The content is top-notch, covering a wide range of topics with depth and clarity. Uxcel ’s user interface is intuitive and well-designed, making navigation a breeze. The inclusion of interactive quizzes and assignments keeps me engaged and helps solidify my understanding of the material. Overall, this app’s iOS app is a must-have for anyone passionate about UX design. Kudos to the team for creating such a fantastic platform! Looking forward to more great content and features. Keep up the excellent work, this app team!

Great companion to the web service

this app Go isn’t the full service that the website offers, so it’s not a replacement, but it doesn’t have to be.

The ability to read lessons and take quizzes works pretty seamlessly and it’s great to be able to knock out a few lessons when the computer isn’t available.

The one functionality that’s missing for me is just to be able to sort the courses by career path. Also, adding in the arcade would be a great addition.

There are a couple bugs I’ve noticed, but nothing that really breaks the user experience and it’s to be expected on launch day. The progress bar at the top of the screen doesn’t always behave correctly and I tried flipping between iPhone and iPad and there has been lag syncing progress.

My one other hope is that the mobile version gets optimized for tablets eventually. I find the bigger screen is easier on the eyes for extended reading.

Overall, I’m very happy with the mobile app. It’s not perfect, but it’s an added service to an already product. Keep up the good work.

Best learning platform for UX on iOS

this app Go is an outstanding mobile app for anyone looking to dive into the world of UX design. Uxcel ’s user-friendly interface and well-structured courses make learning both enjoyable and effective. The new Designr games are really fun as well. If would improve anything, it would be the ability to do the individual lessons that are on the web platform, but on the mobile app version too.

But, Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced designer looking to sharpen your skills, this app Go is the perfect companion on the go.

Great way to learn UX design, anywhere and any time

I absolutely love Uxcel. It’s so well designed for when you’re on the go and don’t want to waste time on your phone but want something to occupy your brain on a commute or waiting in line. It’s great to feel like you can learn UX design anywhere and it’s a very good case study of good UX design as well!

Would love to have the webpage gamified elements also available on mobile. The design games are fun and a nice simple way to practice the UX design knowledge and train your eye

Uxcel has grown my skills tremendously

For the record, I’m a Product Manager who loves design and is passionate about delivering a great UX. I’m a frequent web user and love the platform. Uxcel helps me continue my learning on the go and the fun multiple choice quizzes are the best part!

I have not ran into any issues on Uxcel . I do wish the social features such as viewing the leaderboard and others profiles were available on it. But the core comes from the learning, so I’m fine til then!

Valuable knowledge

I really enjoy being an this app user, I’ve been learning a lot about product design. I would suggest improve the specification and details of the challenges. Some challenges are not quite easy to understand what the outcome is. Besides that, all good so far. Oh, it'll be super useful if you guys provide a downloadable template for each method/framework that you teach. For example a Figma file with the Affinity Diagram template, and so on.

Better than the online version

I had been learning from this app pretty regularly. Heck, I even had a shortcut to it on my phone's homescreen so I could sneak in on my breaks and get some learning done. So I didn't think Uxcel would be much different but somehow they increased the gamification just a tiny bit. Uxcel feels more immersive and really makes me want to learn for longer. I love it.
