You start playing and unlocking new tiles costs 5 stone or 5 woods. Then 10. Then 15. Then all of a sudden, the game starts making things cost HUNDREDS of resources at once. Conveniently, at the same time, it starts showing you ads at a nauseating frequency, and even more conveniently, starts offering you bundles of 150 or so resources for watching ads or making purchases. Even worse, the tiles that you unlock for these hundreds of resources are completely empty, just leading to another tile that costs hundreds of resources. This happens within an hour of gameplay. The whole thing is designed to make you watch ads or make microtransactions.
Slimy greedy tactics

Unfortunately the developers REALLY want to make sure they’re making their $$$ from ads because if you don’t have internet access this game is unplayable. You’re INTENTIONALLY LOCKED OUT. What an actual scam. I wish I could report the developers somehow or find a way to sue for that insanely greedy business tactic. CONCLUSION: don’t get this game if you want to pass time on a road trip or if you don’t have access to wifi all the time. Completely defeats the purpose of an offline game that doesn’t even have multiplayer.
Island tile progression glitched

I downloaded this game today and it has been a lot of fun so far. However when I got to the third island (the snowy one) I encountered some weird glitch. I got some resources, and progressed in the level by one tile. I then got an ad right as I unlocked the said tile. After the ad finished, the area where you unload resources to progress disappeared, as I had finished unloading the resources, but the new tile didn’t appear. I tried switching islands, and closing and re opening the game, but nothing worked and now I’m glitched unable to progress. Like I said before I’ve enjoyed the game so far and I hope this bug can get fixed so I can change my rating since I spent hours getting to this point in the game. Thanks.
