This game is fun but has one of the most frustrating features I’ve seen in merge games. When you play there is a star box that shows up. Every time you clear land another one is there. These are not rewards but boxes to pay real money for meager items. And they are expensive. The irritation comes from all the space they take up. They are permanent features. Tried trashing them to no avail. So your precious few squares you have to work hard to gain enough wands to clear land is partially used by these darn star boxes. Some “ rewards” disappear after several hours but not the stars. If you could throw them away it would be fine but until then you have very few squares in which to play. Thus 1 star but it would be a 4 if you could trash them or if they simply disappeared after short few hours.

Yesterday my game was stuck for 18 hours. I finally get a response at 8pm and it takes two hours to fix it. So when I reloaded the game I said yes it’s working and I’m excited to play when I get up in the morning. I go to bed, I wake up SUPER excited to play because it’s been 24 hours and I have someone else’s game. Ive lost everything I paid money for (even though I was promised compensation ), my zoo is someone else’s, the mini game has been barely played and what response do I get tonight? NOTHING!! When someone devotes themselves to your game and you literally just screwed me over. I’m so disappointed. My feelings are hurt and I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone. The dev’s don’t care about their players.

Don’t mind watching ads (although they are a bit
long), but now that’s just the beginning of the problems. For the last 36 hours I haven’t been able to watch videos. When I try to click the videos it says I’m able to do so. Check settings. I haven’t changed a thing. NOW I’m not even able to open the program. Program fully loads and then all I get is the opening screen. Guess I’ll find another game. JOKE!!!!!!

It’s a fun game and I’ve spent over $100 on the in app purchases, and didn’t have a problem until today. Three times I purchased energy and not any of it was credited to my purchases. Then every time I would receive a reward when the floating bubbles containing the rewards appeared on the screen, and I clicked on it, nothing would be credited, no rewards and no purchased items. I’d shut MergeTopiaTapBlocksOut down, reset my phone, reopen MergeTopiaTapBlocksOut and try to play again, and all the rewards and the bubble was gone. And then when the seasonal items exited it asked me if I wanted to trade it in for energy and I clicked confirm but no energy was credited to my account. This happened six times with my six expired items. I have screen shots. I did contact customer service and they said to check my inbox for 800 energy but my inbox is empty. I had expected better after I’d spent so much money.

UPDATE: I’m done with the absolute typhoon of purchase “suggestions!” Nothing worse than trying to merge a few things and having several thing to buy pop up one right after another.

This game can be so much better. It is casual, clever and can be fun. There’s a large variety of options and it isn’t too stingy with the minor ads that can give you free items. The thing that is so frustrating about this games is the random and seemingly endless “suggestions” to purchase item that just pop up randomly at any point. We all know how to find a shop in an app. Flashing various bundles in our face is not much fun and really saps the enjoyment this game could bring.

This game is just another micro-transaction “build a town” and NOT a puzzle game as advertised. Too many ads and too many icons asking for money covering most of the screen, it was fun for like A DAY, but the higher you go the more money needed to keep it interesting. The timing for accruing energy also changed from 2 minutes to 3 to motivate spending more money on “energy” to open boxes and the required number of merges for necessary items was just designed to create transactions. The game had to be closed and reopened after each ad to acquire items without a purchase. This was also designed for 12 and up but some of the ads were not kid friendly and somewhat graphic. There’s is no payoff or sense of any accomplishment either, it’s a money pit with little to offer.

Seriously considering deleting this game. I reported two bugs and it seems they only fixed one. I’m still having issues with the game freezing after watching an ad for a coin reward. This game is no different than any other merge game. It just has more bugs.

Update: Despite contacting customer service directly about the ads freezing up the game and posting the review above, nothing has been done to correct the issue. Actually, the problem is worse now.

While the game itself was ok there were “awards” that were earned but not actually awarded; for instance there is a flower contest - while playing I cleared off more than 10 of more flowers but when I went to the screen none of the characters moved. - this happened more than a few times. In the zoo , I earned at least 4 seedlings but went to that part of the game … only one was awarded
Feel like if I earned an award I should get it …. I’m done playing. It’s frustrating when the awards aren’t given

I don’t know what happened to this game but it is awful now. From the black gunk that spews all over and you can only get rid of it by merging - which takes forever. You can’t merge because everything has black gunk on it which makes them unusable. Next, you get the times 3 energy play time which lasts 10 or more minutes. So now you can’t chop anything to get new items to merge. Everything also costs more diamonds and coins now. They never do building events with the reduced building time bonus anymore. While also not having the coins over diamonds to finish building early. The game is just tedious now.

ANOTHER game where the preview is used to dooo you into thinking that is what you play, but instead you’re asked to build some idiotic farm or design a house or something that has NOTHING to do with the preview. Fed up with this type of bait & switch. No one wants to do that ridiculous mess

You spend more time playing this stupid harvest tasks rather than actually playing the puzzles which is why we all tried the game. It’s painfully difficult to actually play the puzzles. Deleted after about 10 minutes of trying to actually play puzzles.

I’m giving two stars because the game could be better. There’s a bug that causes the game to freeze and glitch out after watching ads. I have not received all of my rewards because of this. Also the energy price is too high. You run out way too fast. I understand the developers have to make their money and I feel like they would make more if they gave their consumers an opportunity to fully enjoy the game.

The game itself is okay. I feel like the time to recharge energy takes far too long and I dislike how slow and difficult it is to obtain seeds for plants, especially when they die so quickly. That aside, the biggest problem I have is, after completing a merge for coins, usually a ballon with the next coin appears and allows me to obtain it after watching an ad. The game freezes after the ad about 50-75% of the time forcing me to hard restart MergeTopiaTapBlocksOut and lose the item I watched the ad for. This has happened to me countless times and is extremely frustrating. The amount of items I did not receive cost me time and resources in the game that I need to make up for the lost items. It’s happening so frequently now that it’s starting to ruin the gaming experience for me.

There’s a major glitch with a lucky raffle lately. Multiple times I have chosen lucky raffle, awarded 100 points. Go to continue mining and it says I have no points. Other glitches include things that I earned and we’re gone when I came back the next time I open the game. Also, it seems the only way you can really advance is if you spend a lot of money! It said it was a free game and I’m taking it at its word and only using the free portion. But it’s beginning to be really boring and I’m not really sure how I can ever advance from where I am without putting money into it. It’s not really a free game if you can’t advance without buying stuff. Updated to add that I received a response saying you updated us about the changes to the lucky raffle via the in app email. Ummm, bonuses what you’re talking about. No email

The ad that I have seen multiple times shows a block puzzle.
That game play is a minigame not the main game. I wish the ads would only demonstrate the main game.

Seems like a fun merge three game, but it constantly freezes. I’m stuck in the animal world; I can’t do anything at all. I’ve tried to exit and return but it just puts me back in the animal world where everything is frozen. I would be happy to edit this when the issue is fixed.

Unsure if it’s updated or what but all of a sudden today every time I open it it plays for a second and then shuts down and I’m back at my Home Screen. I open it again and I’m right back where I was the last time it opened so I’m making zero progress. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because I very much enjoy this game when it works!

If you are free to play this times out very quickly with no much to do. You have to constantly watch videos for small items to craft. Mostly just scroll around looking for the snowflake or a video to watch.

This game is fun, but it seems the developers have added the ad feature but don’t want to give the rewards. It’s a ploy to get you so frustrated that you purchase the items you are offered for free by watching ads. No one is falling for the “glitches”. We are clear this is an intentional occurrence. Bad business!

Fun game but the ads keep glitching and then I don’t get my rewards I have to reset the game and lose what I was on. Or I’ll have to watch the ad twice because it is glitching and saying I still have to watch the ad for the rewards. If the ads didn’t mess up it wouldn’t be so bad but they literally mess up so much I’m to the point I’d rather just delete the game.

Hopefully this can be looked into so that if you have to watch an ad it doesn’t mess up what your doing.

I’ve been playing this game for a little while now and I truly enjoy it. However, when I don’t get my rewards or the videos freeze it’s absolutely ridiculous. I just won an event with first place and got absolutely none of my rewards and it takes a while for them to respond and I have to send a message

I don’t mind watching ads to get free energy or get bonus coins or cut back on build time. I actually look forward to these bonuses because they increase play enjoyment for me. Since the new update the ads no longer work for me and it makes the game move slower than desired, which means I am less likely to play as often and I will likely only play during the refresh times.

I personally don’t have a problem watching ads to get free items because the Flippin game is addicting. The problem I’m experiencing is the ads are well over a minute with no way to exit it at 30 seconds and then after the full ad is done you have to wait an additional 12 to 15 seconds staring at the screen before the x pops up in the corner. Even after that X in the corner pops up MergeTopiaTapBlocksOut sometimes will freeze up and you would have wasted a whole minute and a half of life on an ad and ended without the reward. Another complaint I have about the ads is there are times that I am listening to music and I don’t want to hear the ad that I’m watching so I would appreciate it if all the ads came with the option to mute so I didn’t have to listen to them. the game is great but the ads make it Super frustrating to continue on.

When I first started playing, it was so fun, but you keep changing things that are helpful. So once again, you take something away from us that was helpful to try to force us into spending our real money. Those 3 boxes were really cool, especially when you saved them to merge. I did spend money at first, until you changed the lottery thing to take away getting free energy as often. And save it. The first click on that, every time, is either 100 coins or 20 diamonds. And the extra lands I’ve purchased is also a sham when you have multiple boxes I too have to purchase after purchasing. Geeze. You’re ruining a great game by being greedy, and I bet many more feel the same way…

I really enjoyed this game until I didn’t play it for a few days while on vacation. When I went to open the game it started all over again. It took all my progress and everything away.

Every time I go to watch a video to get extra coins, building materials, etc, the game freezes and I fail to receive my reward. Thought it was a one time thing but it’s now happened the past 4 times. Loved the game until this happened. Almost makes me want to delete it

I keep NOT getting the rewards from watching the ads. It happened so many times that I lost count. After I watch the ads to get rewards, the screen freezes and I have to restart the game to continue WITH NO REWARD from the ads. Please fix this!!

I’ve been doing playing this game for about 10 months now. It started out as a great casual game to play to relax. They are constantly making “updates” to the game that are not value added and the game is becoming less and less enjoyable to play. The latest update took away energy opportunities at a absurd level. For example I used to be able to watch ads from balloons several times a day for 30 energy each. Along with that they had 14 different times throughout the day to watch videos to earn energy, that opportunity had been decreased to 3 lousy chances. The gift energy chances went from all energy opportunities to a mixture of diamonds (small amount, not worth much) and small energy prizes. This game is less and less enjoyable. I’ll be looking for a replacement soon.

Most of the time the game freezes & I don’t get my extra items for watching an ad- usually it’s the two different coins. It’s really the only thing that’s really frustrating in this game. And it’s basically impossible to complete the extra islands unless you pay for the extras.

Updated: This is an awesome game but there’s still issues where the game freezes after videos are done for coin bonuses. You’re forced to shut the game down and you lose the bonus coins.

After contacting the help center, they let me know they’re working on it. Despite this issue, it’s still a fun game.

Game tends to freeze while playing and I have to restart numerous times a day. Also, it’s pretty laggy when moving objects around. Other than that, it keeps me occupied.

Let me just start off by saying this is a really fun casual game and I play it all the time.

Pros:
Game is fun and the graphics are bright and colorful

Gameplay is addictive and easy to understand

Lots of game modes to fill in your time

Energy is easy to come by with the raffle, watch an ad, or completing objectives

Rewards come pretty frequently if you’re willing to watch an ad (which the length is pretty random sometimes 5sec to almost a minute)

Improvements:

I would like to be able to remove a warehouse when the place it upgrades is at 5 stars. Those extra 4 spaces would go a long way. I currently have 5 stars with the beach and hotel so those warehouses are pretty useless

I would like the hud changed to, all the offers for energy packs, paid rewards, and the like really cramp the viewing space up. I can’t afford them so I help the developers out by frequently watching ads.

Also some of the paid islands are odd. Even if I wanted to purchase the $10 island for the space, 8 of those spaces don’t have an actual reward. Just a gift that I would need to pay for on top of the island purchase.

Last the puzzle aspect is pretty barebones. 15 keys is laughable when the next plot of land costs thousands

Fun game. I’d give it a 4.2 out of 5.

This game is one of my go-tos. However, I’ve been experiencing recent glitches. When I go to merge the wheat straws together, there has been two occurrences now where there is one that I can’t merge together so I have to remove it. Another thing that I’ve experienced is a glitch with the daily raffle. There have been a couple of times when I’ve gotten 100 energy and they won’t go into my energy “bar”. My app doesn’t need to be updated, so how can I fix this? Other than those hiccups, I’ve been loving this game!

This game is fun and pretty addicting to be honest. But I have never played a game before where I am so constantly hammered with incentives to purchase. They are constant. If the publisher can’t make the monetization a bit slicker I’ll probably abandon. I hope not but man, it’s annoying.

I play this absolutely every day and it’s the perfect merge game. You never have to spend actual money. However it doesn’t have anything to do with whatever the picture is with each update or usually the description of like “pipe master” or a cute little dog or whatever. The game where you shoot little arrow blocks out of a big chuck of blocks is just a mini game within this and eventually you don’t get to do it very often, but then you’re sucked in to the real game and don’t even care because it’s so fun!

They just offered me energy if I reviewed this game. But even so, I would have given it 5 stars. There’s a learning curve, but a sense of accomplishment when you begin to master the steps. Let’s hope it stays awesome as I play on.

The advertized puzzle is a side game ment to attract puzzle lovers, the actual game is a standard merge game, that lures you to do repetitive tasks, watch ads and spend money on in game currencies to uncover map. If you like this type of game, it does it very well. lots of satisfying mini pings.
