Alice‘s Dream : Merge Island Reviews

This was my favorite game until I hit a wall. In order to move up to the next area of the game board I need more wands and in the meantime I've leveled up all my former castles. Even on the new area I've leveled up as far as I can go without working towards new wands as there's no way to level up the only castle with extra pieces from the matching mine. Which means any energy I win, buy, earn, collect is virtually useless for a very long time, at least until I earn enough wands. So basically the whole reason I played the game (to merge and build) is gone. The only activity there is left to do is collect ingredients and feed the characters to earn wands. Not much fun IMO. I've never been much of a fan of any of the events or the animal world so I won't be playing those. Smh such a shame. It's a great game and they aren't stingy with energy or opportunities for free coins and rewards. I won't be checking in much. It's gotten incredibly boring and more like a chore just waiting for ingredients to harvest and characters to eat food.

I really am enjoying this version of the Alice Mergeland series, I have the other game as well but, what I enjoy this one a bit more is that it moves quicker through the story and you unlock more at once and you can even recharge your energy without waiting an hour to play again. There’s surprises everywhere that’s what I love about these merge game. I’d love to see more additions to the merge universe Disney wise like Nightmare before Christmas that’d be a lot of fun starting with Halloween town and ending with Christmas town. Hope this suggestion gets picked up. Thank you for making a fun game.

I normally don’t write reviews. I usually just leave a star rating and that is all, but this game is an exception. Another thing to know is I typically don’t like merging games, they bore me way to easily and the storylines are to predictable, but AGAIN this game is an exception! I have fallen in love with this game and as of right now it is the only merge game that I keep playing that I have not deleted off or my phone within a couple of days. I highly suggest this game🙃 I love the graphics, the characters, the way things merge.

I have been playing this game for a while now. I love it. I have an issue for about 3 days that has slowed me down to a crawl. The opo up to watch a video and speed up the building isn’t working. I’m just waiting and waiting for builds to finish. They are all too long. I hope the developers will address this. I can’t email support for some reason. It is still the best game ever. It’s hard to tell if the game is actually really fun when you have to watch it add like every two seconds and the ads are like 30 seconds to a minute long and it is non-stop trying to get you to buy some thing I literally mean nonstop and the purchase package is pretty much take up the whole screen it seems like so I don’t know if I would download the game and play it. I’ve been playing it for about a week now. Not sure if I’m going to delete it yet. I’m gonna give it a little bit more time but oh my gosh the ads and the packages for sale are ridiculous out of control

I like this game but it takes so long to open a new sections to be open and build up. It just shows what I need to open or build up a new section and I have it but then it’s either not enough or something, I can’t figure it out. I don’t see a section for instructions how to play the game. The other side games, one is easy to do, the games that has limited days is good, but the second main game, I have to spend money to get more gems just to get more space in the hold section. I already spent my own money (charged my card) for extra gems. I won’t get suckered into spending my money for any games.

I haven’t been playing long - a few minutes - and I like it a lot so far! The mechanics I’ve seen are fun, I haven’t seen any spelling/grammar errors to pull me out of the story… but I with there was a scale to the music and sound effects, because I really like them, they fit the whimsy of the game, but I both have something else on in the background and have migraine issues, and the sounds and music are quite loud even with my phone very low.

Why not allow us to click on one of the characters on each land and get 50 energy each day or a couples times each day. It would encourage more purchases

0 stars SHOULD BE AN OPTION. The whole game is nonstop popups. Its incessant harassment. every time u open the game, change screens, click ANYTHING, POPUP POPUP POPUP to the point that it takes 3-5 SOLID MINUTES to get through popups TO EVEN PLAY THE GAME at LEAST once a day. If i wanted to spend money, i wouldnt be spending it on this game tht takes DAYS to get thru any quest. Slowest, most harassment filled game i have EVER had the misfortune of playing. These trash people who made this game need to learn to respect that NO MEANS NO. Stop making me say no to 50 things just to OPEN AlicesDream . Nobody real is rating this game 5 stars. I can guarantee those are fake ratings and i’ll be back to make sure mine STAYS UP.

I started playing this game less than a month ago and I do enjoy playing it. The only thing I’m having an issue with is the scratch tickets for energy. I don’t have that option. I assumed it probably wouldn’t appear until I was level 20, well I’m level 20 now and still no scratch ticket. Am I missing something?

I was loving this game and even have invested several times financially. The recent update made it to where items could be sold and which was misleading if you ask me because this has happened in the past when items were no longer needed. Now I’m frustrated after selling numerous items that I still require to advance in the game.

One star off because the events are impossible without overspending in-game currency, and another star off because of the notifications. Stop saying the energy is full when it’s not; stop saying the free energy is available when it’s not. Other than those things, this is a VERY fun game compared to other merge/build games of its kind.

Greatest game I ever played. So much fun it’s much better than the first one! I really enjoy playing this it keeps Me completely occupied for hours! I even forget when it’s supper time. But tonight it’s going to be pot pie’s forgot to go buy groceries this week!

I start to play…..I look at the time….I must have turned into the White Rabbit, an hour goes by!!! Time flies when you play this game! Watch out….. it’s addicting…..it may make you late for a very important date… and turn you into the White Rabbit too!! Five⭐️’s

The ad does not do it justice. I almost skipped because it didn’t look that great from the ad but this is the exact game I love! So cute and a lot of new spins / updates on the ever merge theme! Love the graphics etc! I am so happy!

I just opened the game for the first time in a couple of days and literally spent several minutes trying to exit out of pop ups. I finally got annoyed & deleted the game.

This game was enjoyable for the most part but all the ads & pop ups made it unbearable.

Game is cute, it’s fun for passing the time. The constant pop up ‘ads’ are obnoxious. They are pop ups offering energy or something that costs real money. Just merging something - pop up. Opening AlicesDream - about ten pop ups before you can even play the game. Fewer would be nice.

No way to report glitches unless I have “mail” app. I love this game and have spent WAY TOO MUCH money on it to not be able to report a glitch. When the energy shop doesn’t reset at noon like it always does and you have to pay over a thousand coins to refill energy just to try to complete a quest, it’s CRAP. Makes me not want to spend any more of my money on the game. Suggest you fix this ASAP.

Overall fun amazing game, honestly glad I downloaded. The ad makes it unlike what it is though!! I was ready for a fun puzzle game not a merge game. Typically I hate story games and only expected the circle puzzles. Still a great game though! :)

There is a lot to do! There is several ways for you to get free energy with a mini game. I also haven’t encountered any ads which is very refreshing! I hate ads.

This is not the game advertised and shown in the pictures. Those are small, easy, infrequent mini games to prevent claims of false advertising. This game is building stuff together. Not the ring puzzle game. It is absolutely absurd that Apple permits screenshots of 0.01% of gameplay to align with their deceptive ads. We don’t want to play this game. We want to play the ring game as advertised. This deceptive marketing must stop.

I actually love this game ..BUT .. I seem to be having issues with my phone when AlicesDream is on it … I have tried deleting it and then reloading it at no avail .. I have an IPHONE 12 and it seems to slow / lock down everything on it ..only happens when I have AlicesDream … I have to shut my phone down completely and reboot in order for my texts and calls to gone through.. again .. only happens when AlicesDream is on my phone …very disappointing since I really do like the game 🧐

I’m early but so far it’s better than other merge games I’ve played.
edit: The game started out good but after I bought land, more “buy now” pop up ads have filled my screen. I can’t see the upper right quadrant of the screen which is hugely annoying. And anything I do seems to add more pop ups. They need to collapse them so we can actually play the game. I won’t be spending anymore money on this game until they are gone or collapsed.

I downloaded this game because I thought it was going to be the “disconnect the rings” game. My fault for believing, yet again, more fake advertisement. It’s another merge game that’s absolutely chaotic and every ten seconds is popping up and wanting you to spend real money to pay for better things. I get games need money to keep producing, but this one is ridiculous with the pushing. You don’t get the time you need to finish special events unless you spend money and the main game is absolute chaos with how much is out on the board at once. It’s awful. Don’t waste your time.

I was very happy with this game until an update yesterday. The ads appeared, but I can’t play any to receive the credit because I continuously get stuck with a black screen and no timer. Not happy that I have had to reset this game 6 times in the past 30 minutes!!

I just started playing today. I'm really enjoying figuring out the features of it all... it is not difficult. Simply pay attention to the RED (!), the bouncing items and ones with the Rabbit's paw on them. Rewards are given when the POCKET WATCH has a Red exclamation point -->(!) on it. As I suggested... "Simply pay attention..." and you'll have much fun❣️

I love this game but there are some ad glitches when playing on a phone that are extremely frustrating. Twice in an event that is ending an ad doesn’t play the correct direction so there’s no way to close it. At the end of the event once you exit out it won’t let you go back in so I’ve lost tons of coins twice now. Makes me not want to play as much.

If you come into this game expecting the ring twist game shown in the previews and ads you will be disappointed.

This is a merge style game that is Alice in Wonderland themed. As someone who likes merge style games and has played quite a few, this is one of the better ones. There are plenty of fun side things (like the cooking and aspect) that keep it from getting too repetitive and doesn’t automatically merge stuff you put next to each other giving you more control over where you put stuff and less time spent worrying about it or making mistakes. Also the absence of any ads you don’t opt into is a wonderful change of pace.

However there are things that prevent this from being five stars. The beginning tutorial is a PAIN to get through. There are like three pointless text bubbles every single time you do something and it makes getting through the beginning irritating. The other is the layout. There is just a LOT going on there are six promotion boxes to click on and the entire outline of the game it full of clickable boxes. It is kind of overwhelming to look at especially with the apps art style which is already pretty detailed. Neither of these make the game unplayable, but it would be more pleasant without them.

The ads I see constantly in other games I play all demonstrate this cute puzzle where you’re supposed to unlink circles from each other. That sounds like fun. The actual game is some merging objects game, which I did not want, with arrows constantly pointing to images, and I have no idea what I’m supposed to do. If you like a merging objects game, this may be for you, but it’s absolutely not what I wanted, and it’s false advertising to imply otherwise. I deleted it pretty quickly.

Four stars because I can’t stop playing. I impatiently wait for energy to build up. I go back and forth to the different boards to get the free flying items. I don’t care about the ring game,it’s easy and boring to me. I love the main game but the other extra boards like Dorothy and others are so slow and process seems to go nowhere. I really only like the Alice part. Energy runs out too fast, I’d even be happy watching more videos for more energy, takes way to long when I want to play for awhile. Really fun game.

Game is a lot of fun but the constant pop ups when you’re playing gets very annoying.
The other thing that would be great to see is if they could add a feature where it clumps all like items together. It gets hard to find items, mainly of the special event maps where you can’t zoom out very far. This reason causes the special events to become less enjoyable and in turn there is no desire to continue to play

I started off loving this game but I find I need to spend too much real $$ to continue to play. 48 minutes for a second-level piece to build? Really? Do you want me to play the game or go find a game I can play without waiting 48 minutes for a piece to build? Pieces are hard to find to complete areas. The mini-games are the same over and over and cannot complete when every move is 30 energy and you only have 75 to begin with. The concept of this game is great, but the creators have misunderstood gameplay and not spending a lot of real money to buy extra workers, etc. I now play until I am maxed out and go find another game to play that is challenging but not so expensive to play.

Anyone that knows me, KNOWS that I've always been obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. So, finding this game was AWESOME for me!! I LOVE games with storylines (I'm not sure what you call this kind of games. Lol.) and I love how YOU get to choose what to do next in some of the situations, with the multiple choice scenarios. I'm only on level 6 and I'm already obsessed!! This game is so cute!!!! I HIGHLY recommend, especially if you enjoy those storyline kind of games and ESPECIALLY if you're a fan of Alice in Wonderland. You'll love this!!!! 😍

I like this game, but some events are to short to be achieved without spending money. There are a lot of pop ups trying to get you to purchase items. I can work around all of this, but I often have items I’ve been working on disappear. Just now 6 items just gone. And they were big ones. I’ve also had reward chests disappear on me. Seems like there are a few bugs to still work out. So be careful depending real money on this game.

I just started today after playing the other Alice merge (which is my favorite mobile game of all time, I’ve been playing for years every single day) game. Well let’s just say I now have a new favorite!! The graphics, the story, the playability, and the way things can be moved around and merged just feels perfect!! All other merge games take note!! 😉 this is how a merge game is done!! And to top it off the start of the game let’s you play for a long time before running out of stamina or anything!! It’s wonderful!! Most games now a days you are lucky to play for maybe an hour before having to wait to play more, or pay! Overall easy 5 star game and definitely at the top of all merge games!! ☝️☝️☝️

Was tricked into thinking this was a game based on the rings. It’s the first merge game I’ve ever downloaded and I don’t hate it. The pop ups and ads and requests for money are super prevalent and very annoying. But this is definitely it a game where you NEED to do it. Some games I’ve played barely let you do anything before you hit a paywall and it gets frustrating. There’s so much to do in this game that imo it doesn’t feel like a crazy amount of time to wait for things. However, they do special events usually taking place in different “lands” and they are timed. So you have two-three days to work on this “land” that’s bigger than your main one and there’s not enough time nor energy to get even a little close to finishing it. Which makes it feel like a waste of time. Mostly it’s an entertaining, turn off your brain game.

It's not the ring game if that's what made you download it but it's so much better that I can't even get mad at being bamboozled lol. I just like how it looks, how it works, how it's paced, how it incentivizes you and every challenge/side quest is just fun and worth doing. It rewards you properly. If you have self control and patience you don't really need to buy extra things but if you decide to purchase stuff you are rewarded handsomely. Highly recommend it, it's great!

While I understand the purpose of the limited time events is to provide additional revenue for the developer, as well as enjoyment for the end-user, having them run for longer seems would benefit all parties. By giving the end-users the opportunity to progress further and possibly complete them, it would increase the likelihood that end-users would spend some money to complete them, especially if they are close to completing the event. When an end-user is only able to complete a fraction of the event, they are much less likely to spend any money in order to complete it. I’ve seen and experienced this method in other emerge games, and personally spend quite a bit of money in them. Your events are too short to make it worth my while in spending money. Also the limited offers to purchase bonus items (boosts, energy, etc.) should have lower prices to encourage users to purchase them. As previously mentioned, I spent quite a bit of money in other merge games, but your prices are higher, so I’ve only made a few purchases.

Otherwise, this is a great game that I enjoy spending a lot of time in!

It’s a very fun game with lots to do. Quite a bit of variety. However, the ring game shown in the icon and on the advertisements is only a very small part of the overall game.
The game has a few different areas where you can play, and switching between the areas is as easy as a click. If you need materials, there are opportunities to watch videos, trade gems, spend coins, or use real money to obtain the materials. The game cycles through different sub-games, I guess, not sure what to call it. It you don’t finish it one time, then don’t worry, you will eventually get another chance. The biggest problems I have are that I don’t have enough plots of land to put things, and I run out of energy too quickly. But you can get more energy by watching videos or using coins, etc.
I’ve been playing for a month or two, and it’s become the game I go to first when I get on my iPad.

But it is a great merge game. The tutorial when you first open the game is how I thought it would be based on ads. After the tutorial, this game is all merging and the side game with the rings is in a little optional box at the bottom of the screen, not needed to progress in the game at all. Good thing is you can get very far without having to buy things to advance like some other games. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars AS A MERGING GAME is that ads pop up every couple of minutes. Too much. And they always say “last chance to purchase” it’s never the last time, trust you will see the ad again within 5 minutes.

But it is a really good merging game and from the moment I started playing I was a addict lol so BEWARE for that but otherwise a very nice phone game. It’s easy to be f2p because you have a lot of options of collections of resources needed to play. The only issue is the energy part which is very expensive imo and should be a whole ton cheaper but again it is a fun addicting game that has nice graphics and scenery and lots of stuff to do.

This is a game I play for a little each day. The complaints that I have is that there a way too many videos to watch…especially Royal Match. At this point I don’t care if King Richard is saved as the game isn’t remotely like the ads itself. The ads are too long and once they finish, they also count down another 15 seconds which makes the ads anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute. I get ads are needed but at least have a variety. Please get rid of the Whispers one and the ASMDR dermatology one…it’s triggering to those with Trypophobia 🙄

The other complaint is the numerous offers towards the top of the game. They block a lot of the game itself. You constantly have to scroll to see the playing area. Plus, there’s also a scroll bar on the right with more offers. It really takes away some of the enjoyment of the game with all the boxes on the gaming area. Other than that, it’s a great way to pass the time.

I have been playing for a few days and it’s fairly simple and I’m enjoying it. As others have stated the rings are just a bonus mini game but the main focus is on merging items. Some items need to be built or removed that uses energy and I rarely run out or don’t have a means to get more. (But I’m only on level 11 so I’m sure that changed the higher you go.)

The only thing I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT STAND is the fact that they have SO MUCH going on and so many extra stupid buttons for purchases that it SERIOUSLY takes away from the game board itself. You can barely see anything since most of the screen is taken up by those extra icons. There should seriously be an arrow or drop down for all of these particular options so that you can actually play. I’m really hoping they fix that because honestly it’s enough to make me want to quit already.

This is a fun game, but the lack of a walkthrough for the finer details of play, either in AlicesDream or online, is beyond frustrating. There are pictures that are supposed to show you what to do, but often they are more confusing than not, plus they don’t cover all aspects of play. Wonderland, the main game, is fairly straightforward and easy to pick up, but the other adventures (Fairytale Island, Mystic Isle, etc) aren’t. Another thing that is frustrating is the *constant* ask for money. That said, if you want to play for an extended period of time and actually have fun while you’re doing it instead of waiting out a clock or count on the butterflies that periodically fly thru, you’re going to need to pony up a fair amount of cash.

So while this is fun there are some major drawbacks to this game. It starts off quick but then once you hit about Level 12 the merging gets more complicated and then the amount you earn for each merge is so small it’s ridiculous. Then some of the incentives for merging disappear from the left side bar (with no indication that there’s a time limit). Plus if there any unused items you can sell them but who knows where those points go. Also, if you trash any unused items there should be at least some credits, coins, something that you should get in exchange, even if it’s only 1 or 2 credits/coins. Definitely need some more improvements.

I downloaded this game about a month or so ago and it really is fun. Although the commercial for this game is mildly misleading. This is a merge game. The rings game is a side game you don’t get to play very often. All in all, the whole game is very fun and moderately creative.
As for the money. Yes, the game is free but there is an offer asking you to buy something to further your game every 15 seconds. I admit I usually spend it because it’s 2-5 bucks but if I were someone’s kid, my parents would not be happy. Download this game looking for something fun and creative to occupy some time and be able to pay for dopamine. (The brain chemical)

This was literally my favorite phone game of all time and I was about to leave the greatest review I’ve ever written, then you took away ads for gold and blue coins.

Why did you do that. No, no – backspace, put in reverse, errr circle back. Blue + gold coin ads.

As somebody who has played over 50 phone games the past year alone, (Swagbucks), you were number 1 bro. Dressing Alice is all I ever wanted as an overly-obsessed Alice in Wonderland lover AND weirdly-addicted-to-merging connoisseur. Please bring back ads for coins you will still win I promise. I was on a mission winning streak and I cannot continue like this.

This game is really fun. It’s engaging and can literally take you down the rabbit hole and take over your evening. My only two complaints are:
1. I would like a bag, or book, that you can store all your discovered items, like dog collars, food etc., so that you don’t have to keep swiping all over the place to see what you have, and try to keep like items together; and
2. The bag for chests and other bought or won items should let you pick what items you want on your board instead of just shooting out a bunch of stuff you are not ready to use.

Otherwise this is a really fun game.

I wish there was a way to force save cloud data because I play on three devices and sometimes I lose recent progress. There’s something funky going on with the withdrawal basket - one time I didn’t get the reward I earn and was excited about. I wish there were more sales for the 1,000 energy points Last thing the game slows down significantly the further you progress. I wish there were more chests for the diamond powder/bottles.

Some events are unattainable you have to spend so much energy to get so little and not make it to the award especially if you take a day off

I am not sure why when the screen opens to select a card, or whatever it is, to receive addtl energy, the values behind each card are shown, because my personal experience has been that what is actually behind the cards is not what is shown before they are hidden… there does not seem to be any purpose to show the values of the cards before they are flipped over.
Also, the special events or whatever they’re called that changes every few days to a different land, or whatever it’s called… Is not much fun or very enjoyable to play being that for the most part after about five minutes, you run out of energy usually. Other games or apps, that I have played that are similar have a separate bonus energy that can be clicked on every few hours which is separate from the energy for the main or other events that are playing simultaneously.

I really love this game, but it is in desperate need of a low graphics mode or something. The more stuff I unlock on the main board, the more the game lags, freezes, and crashes. I can barely move items or click on anything, and I haven’t even unlocked half the characters yet! Is it really necessary for every single character and item to have a flashy idle animation, and for everything you click on to explode into a million particles or zoom across the screen with a trail of sparkles? Even opening/closing menus causes my phone to start overheating, and boy are there lots of menus! There’s always like 7+ menus for buying coins or special events or whatever that automatically open every time you open AlicesDream . PLEASE let me disable unnecessary graphics and menus, otherwise the game will soon become literally unplayable.
