Times out

This timed out for each calendar day I tried to look at. I was just trying to test to see if my items saved online were appearing in AERA2026AnnualMeeting . The items I added were on Sunday and I couldn’t even get to Sunday because AERA2026AnnualMeeting would time out on every day, so I consider this useless at this point.

Useless

I was looking for a session and couldn’t search by people. I ended up just going to the webpage on my phone which is more user friendly. I will just delete AERA2026AnnualMeeting since it is even worse than previous years.

My Schedule won’t load

My custom schedule is all visible online but AERA2026AnnualMeeting is totally useless. Why create your own app if you can’t make it work. There are plenty of vendors you can use. This is an embarrassment.

Useless

Can’t search by person. Any item loaded to my schedule takes me back to the first session of the day. Events I loaded online are not visible in AERA2026AnnualMeeting .

Needs a complete rebuild

Utterly useless — crashes, doesn’t load, fails searches that should find multiple hits, hard to navigate

Horrible

It’s absolutely horrible. Doesn’t load, takes ages to load a single day, fails to add sessions, etc. don’t even bother.

Awful

Unable to search sessions by presenter. Schedule doesn’t work.
Minimal info about attendees.

The app does not open

AERA2026AnnualMeeting opens to a blank screen does not work

It’s a joke

We pay 500+ dollars for an app that is dysfunctional #dobetter

Less functionality from 2023 and that is saying something!

When you look up people it doesn’t list their presentations! That was the only function I really used to navigate last year. Now you have to know the name of the session and use a convoluted search function and it still may not find it. How come I couldn’t find my own session!? All this money for registration and a non usable app!

awful junk

AERA has persistent technology problems. AERA2026AnnualMeeting is a new low and the pinnacle of worthlessness. Best to just do without

Useless

Can’t find a session by searching a presenter name. Can’t find the streaming sessions.

awful

i hope aera does not support or pay for this in any direct way. it would b a waste of our $$. if i had to choose between this and a phone book sized hard copy - it would b the latter.

I’m glad there’s no masks

Why do they care about old shots still

From what research and evidence do people consult when making decisions about banning and censoring books and curriculum materials? How do people interpret education research when making policy judgements about Critical Race Theory and its potential effects? From what data repositories do people engage in making a case for what history is and is not taught in schools? When education research is considered, the implications and outcomes for marginalized communities can be harmful or beneficial.

The Research and Science Policy Forum will offer a series of sessions focusing on important issues such as, innovation in education research, federal research funding, gender and equity in educational measurement, role of education research in national STEM education priorities, and use of geospatial and poverty estimate data to inform education policy.

“What is “truth” and who decides? From what evidence, if any, do people construct their positions about truth as they make decisions concerning education? Education research is too often absent, underrepresented, misinterpreted, under-nuanced, and decontextualized in broader, societal, and public conversations about educational issues in pursuit of truth.
