You have to time the Bluetooth toggle to get CZSmartYouQ to pair with its intended target and then it doesn’t go past the sign in screen once it does finally connect.

It doesn’t connect. I tried more than 10 times for long periods of time… any advice?

App can’t locate my phone. Did multiple resets and installs. I gave up.

The connection process failed multiple times. I see my watch among the device options, but it will not connect.

After multiple attempts of 2 days I have given up attempting to get CZSmartYouQ and my Citizen CZ watch to connect with one another. APP will pick up multiple Bluetooth devices but not the watch. Disappointing for a $300 item.

I recently bought a CZ smart hybrid Gen 2 watch and the Bluetooth is not picking up my watch in CZSmartYouQ. The Citizen app and my phone picked up the watch right away. I would love to be able to use all the features of CZSmartYouQ if it worked correctly.

Update: Still not connecting to the YouQ app!!!!! When will the devs fix this? It’s obviously a problem as many people are complaining about it! The YouQ app sees all my other Bt devices but not the watch!

Very awesome watch! But useless if it won’t connect with the YouQ app. Tried everything. Not working. Sending back.

2 months of owning the watch and CZSmartYouQ still can’t see it. So much for Citizen’s big selling point.

Lots of bugs in CZSmartYouQ . Sleep data takes long time to update after several tries. Time stamps for various values like alert test, power gauge shows wrong or old values. Watch battery does not last for more than 10 to 12 hours, with minimal feature usage. Need to charge at least twice a day if need to track sleep. Not water resistant at all, not sure how to wear this outdoors if a normal person sweat. Need to manually turn off screen before going to sleep, no automatic sleep schedule so that screen turns off itself .

Do not buy this watch it’s the same watch as all the Google Wear OS 3 months old and outdated watches. They are priding themselves in this new IBM NASA algorithm, and it’s a complete gimmick and a battery waster. I’m only getting 15-18 hours of charge in a full battery, it’s so inconvenient when you’re having your watch die in the middle of sleep tracking, which takes 14 days for you to fully develop a algorithm for the New app to work or sync. Also there in no water proof or water resistant rating on this, so I don’t even know why they called the version of the watch we bought a sport model..

Sign-in fails with “Error something went wrong, please try again later.”

The chronograph type seems to be an interesting topic, but have yet to have CZSmartYouQ provide one. Watch connectivity with app can be improved a bit more.

I onboarded as stated for 9 days, and CZSmartYouQ started to work. It showed me my Power Score and PowerFixes. Since this is an AI enabled app, I know it takes some time for the AI to actually learn my chronotype, but I am so surprised to see how accurate it is once it completes the AI learning process.

I like how CZSmartYouQ provides a breakdown of my sleep, chronotype meaning, shows how alert I am. It helps me realize how reactive I am and shows exactly when my energy is declining which is mind blowing/cool. Looking forward to more!

CZSmartYouQ doesn’t connect my watch. I tried 2 weeks and nothing worked.

First of all, what a gorgeous wearable! And the fact that it comes with the new YouQ app without an added subscription is fantastic! CZSmartYouQ is so cool, I’ve been having a ton of fun taking the PVT tests and can’t wait to uncover my chronotype! Sleeping with my watch is totally comfortable (I got the rose gold casual touchscreen style) and I love getting my sleep data through CZSmartYouQ . The battery life is standard for a touchscreen smartwatch - it gets me through the entire day, and I take it off while showering to charge which is super quick just 40ish minutes. Super happy with this gorgeous piece!

I have really enjoyed my YouQ app and citizens smartwatch. I wake up to see my power gauge and make the most of my day. After 10 days I learned my chromotype. I’m a midday dynamo. I have planned my workouts atoms peak and monitored my sleep.
