My employer switched from Go365 to PowerofVitality several months ago and I honestly haven’t encountered such a poorly designed app in a VERY long time. It feels like the design was rushed and pushed out to the masses before it had been properly tested and vetted.
It takes forever to get PowerofVitality to update steps, if you try to log certain activities it just spins forever and never uploads completely, for a while I had to use the desktop website to join challenges as PowerofVitality wouldn’t allow it, the list goes on...
PowerofVitality also has extreme limits on awarding points, such as only being able to earn points for steps OR workouts in a single day, not both. For steps, you only earn points in increments of 5,000, so if you walk 9,000 steps, 4,000 of them are ignored. In the weekly workout section, points are only counted if you walk a min of 10,000 steps daily, although PowerofVitality incorrectly records that as 0 pts for 0-4,999 steps. When I inquired with customer service about this mistake, they were short with me and eventually stopped responding altogether.
All in all, I don’t know why we switched to Vitality, but I really wish me hadn’t. I miss Go365.
