This used to be a great app until they went to a subscription model. You would upload 10 photos and for $5.99. You would get 100 photos back that you could pick from. Now they want you to subscribe during your initial uploads, you’ll upload 10 photos and get 100 back but after that the number drops to 10. And they are 10 of the worst photos I have ever seen in my entire life. I was more than happy to pay 5.99, give you 10 photos, get 100 back and maybe find two or three that I could use. That was worth the money. The subscription model is a joke.

When searching for an AI headshot photo app there are a few options however there seems to be little differentiation between them. Based on a balance of reviews and cost value, I gave Mayo Studio a shot and could not be more pleased with the results. After submitting 10 variations of existing photos, the process took about an hour and returned roughly 80+ photos in a wide range of outfits and settings. Although not every shot provided a true to life image, there were at least 60 shots that were and I eventually saved around 40 to be used. I call that a win.

Super easy to use and you get professional headshots in about an hour. Out of the 100 photos, about 10 were useful for my needs. I immediately used a couple for LinkedIn and other work related photos. 50-60 were really good but not quite what I was looking for. The remaining were either creepy, robot looking, or just looked like somebody else. But totally worth it for $6. Even worth a few laughs for the photos I did not use.

This was my first time using an AI-based photo tool, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It returned a wide-variety of shots, all of which were plausbily me - more or less. Of the 100 or so photos I received back, I can definitely use 15 or so for work or other reasons. I like that there were a variety of kinds of shots - suit, button up, sportcoat, tux, outdoor jackage, etc. I don't buy many apps, so this was a fun low-cost purchase.

Out of the 100 photos presented only 5 looked natural to me. Some pictures gave me a very profound jawline, others looked too air brushed. Also all the pictures with teeth were very disturbing. Now don’t get me wrong, the 5 pictures I liked are really good. Friends and family are non the wiser that this is AI. For 6 bucks I totally think that it’s worth it. I would like to see a thumbs up or down option for photos to give you another round of photos. Also a referral option would be nice.

I needed an updated headshot and decided to give this a try. For the money, it was definitely worth it.

Out of all the headshots received, I got a handful that were really good and met my needs. There were some, however, that really looked nothing like me, but I did get a good laugh.

I would give this 5 stars but, some of the ‘misses’ were just too extreme. I think with time, MayoStudio will continue to improve and I look forward to trying it again, when I need to do another refresh.

Best app for compiled NON CARTOON profile pics! I tried like 6 others and most of them don’t even offer realistic end results, only the animated look.
Interface and process could use a little polishing. But I didn’t encounter any bugs and the results were some pretty great looking shots!
About 20 out of the 100 really looked like me, with different clothes, scenes and poses.
I would pay the $6 just for 1 or 2 😂

I was looking for some updated headshots and this popped up on my Instagram feed. The $5.99 up front fee is more than reasonable considering that you get 100 photos in roughly an hour after submitting your own. I like the fact that MayoStudio tells you if the photos submitted are good enough, with an opportunity to add more, if they’re not.

I’d looked at other options and MayoStudio’s price is significantly lower IF you’re looking for quality. Turn around time for quality with others is normally around 2 business days and the process isn’t as easy to submit your photos.

Now out of the 100 photos - I absolutely loved about 10, but it was good to have so many options to look through. Also some of my most noticeable features were spot on in the ones I loved. It looked like I had a shoot and paid someone hundreds of dollars for makeup/hair/photos. I sent my best photos to friends and no one could tell the difference. I didn’t tell them it was AI until after they raved about how great I looked. My husband couldn’t even tell. He liked them so much, that we got them for him too.

Lastly, the Mayo team was quick to respond on a small error I noticed on his photos. It was resolved in less than 24 hours. If you’re on the fence, just try it. I’m still blown away by the fact that something like this is possible and really good! Very happy with our experience and highly recommend.

I wanted to update my profile photo and thought I’d give this a whirl. It’s fascinating! For $7.99, to get 100 photos tongo through, you can’t beat it. Some photos are definitely not me but could be a sister, while others are spit on. Plus, it’s super fun! Only wish that the bodies were a little more common. The boney collar bones and shoulders do not match my physique. It’s worth it!

I have been looking for an easy way to update headshots when I stumbled upon MayoStudio. Ive is Ed a few other AI generated products like this and they never delivered quality photos. This application is by far the best I’ve seen. What’s even better then the ease of use and quality of photos generated is the follow-up from David and the team to check in just to ask how the photos turned out.

I’m pleasantly surprised at how great MayoStudio is! I have tried it a couple times and each time we got more photos than we expected! It was super easy to use- just follow the directions, use clear photos and make sure you have different backgrounds and poses. And then like magic, you have a ton of headshots that can last for a while for the cost of a Starbucks coffee! I HIGHLY Recommend MayoStudio!!!

I wanted headshots for LinkedIn. Most of the photos were good. You will get some that are very deep fake looking and some really nice ones. Mine didnt have any with a professional top they looked more like modeling photos so I messaged them and they responded quickly and provided me a few more options.
I give them 5 stars because of the customer service and price. It costs less than a Starbucks drink so go for it and see what you get!

I needed a more professional headshot for myself. I stumbled across MayoStudio and figured hey why not? I’d rather pay what it costs than to pay a photographer hundreds to get the right shot. I use my generated photo for my work profile photo as well as on LinkedIn. My coworkers thought it was actually a real photo and then I got to explaining how it was generative AI. All in all, I used them on three different occasions and am happy with the results!

I was so intrigued when a friend told me about MayoStudio. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am a professional singer and am always interested in getting new glamour shots for promotional purposes. I did it twice. The first gave me around 6-8 shots that I can actually use and I love them !!! For the price, it’s completely unbeatable.
The second, I must have chosen the wrong photos and I had no luck finding any usable shots.

It really depends on the selfies. I got an instant response from the customer service and they explained to me how to choose photos for the best result !

These are very glamorous shots ! Maybe eventually having different options like “headshot” “glam shot “ “professional” would be a great addition!

What's so impressive about MayoStudio is that it can take any everyday photo and turn it into a stunning headshot. If you don’t have a ton of photos to pick from just grab a few selfies against different backgrounds.

I had an issue with the renders due to my abnormal hairstyle and the customer service team was quick to respond and provide updated shots. This level of attention to customer satisfaction is truly impressive, and it made me feel valued as a customer.

While there are a few issues with the program, such as occasional glitches and errors, the overall quality of the product is incredibly impressive, especially considering the cost. The results are truly professional and I had plenty of options to choose from even before the team made the fix for me.

Disregard the the negative reviews, you’re paying $6 for 100 realistic pictures of yourself. The time and effort it saves you from replicating the pictures is worth every penny. You’ll easily find a handful of pictures in each batch that you’ll love and use on your social platforms.
The customer service is great; they’ll check in after your first batch to see how satisfied you are and will use your critiques to improve MayoStudio .

I’ve tried other apps like Lensa and the results were bizarre. Of the 100 photos I received from this, 95 were really good. Only a few did strange things with my beard, which is consistent with AI results elsewhere. Definitely worth the cost.

One caution: heed the guidance about sunglasses. In 2 of my 10 photos, my Transitions lenses were slightly darkened, which can’t be helped outside. About 30-40% of the images I received back were wearing dark sunglasses. Still good, but just be aware of that going in.

MayoStudio totally exceeded my expectations. I needed a professional photo for a business profile. After some research, I chose the Mayo studio app. I paid $5.99 and got about 100 photos.

Some of the renderings were off, but many of them look just like me. And the AI makeup skills are excellent. AI me looks amazing🙂. It’s fun to see yourself in all the different poses.

Overall, I am more than satisfied with my pics. I only needed 1 good professional photo. I was hoping for a few good photos. I got 50+ beautiful pics for all occassions that do not look like AI.

I needed a headshot quickly for an organization to which I belong. In the past I’ve done the pro photo shoot thing, makeup, hair, waiting, choosing, retouching…and I didn’t have time for all of that. I took the chance on MayoStudio and I’m so glad that I did. It was quick and easy to use: just 10 photos needed, and MayoStudio provided feedback when submitted photos were not usable for some reason. Within an hour I had 100 images to choose from! Some looked more like “me” than others but there were several that easily fit the bill for my near term business-appropriate need plus more casual images that I used to update my profile on other platforms. Can’t beat the price!

I needed a quick headshot to update my social media icons, and MayoStudio was perfect. I tried a few of the other AI photo apps and none of them got as accurate as this one.

Out of 100 I had about 15 or more headshots I could use immediately that were spot on, and the others were pretty close. Some looked like I had taken professional touched up photos, and some had looked like an iPhone selfie, which I thought was actually pretty cool because it made the photo look more realistic.

I was having some problems with the waiting process because mine took a little longer, but overall customer service was super helpful and quick to respond about the issue!

The title says it all. Had an issue and and David was quick to respond and resolve. Had to do a new batch and they came out great.

App does have an issue with teeth alignment but all the non teeth ones are great. Some teeth smiles did come out though so it wouldn’t stop me from using MayoStudio again.

I recommend using MayoStudio for any headshots you need!
