If you are a sports gambler or trader here’s what to know:

this app has better odds available than most traditional sportsbooks.

It allows setting your own prices on events.

It features mainly major American sports markets, and is expanding offerings eventually.

Has a simple interface that is responsive.

It’s still early though, and they’re building and improving the product daily. It’s going to be crucial that moving money in and out is an easy process for users, especially with the 2024 NFL season around the corner.

The most important things to me are: 1 good odds, 2 good limits, 3 can move money in/out frictionlessly 4 app just works and is easy to navigate

Another thing, it’s available in more states than the traditional sportsbooks as well because it runs on a sweepstakes business model (google it). You may be in a state where sportsbooks are not present, but can still use this app to participate in sports markets (google as well, always dyor).

There’s also incentives/rewards that allow free play or rebates for participating in certain markets. Also login bonuses and maybe there’s AMOE(mail in rebates?) or other ways to accumulate cash for free if that interests you.

Final verdict: definitely check it out. Get in early today (it’s August 2024 for posterity). Try stuff out, join the waitlist, join their discord too, and let’s see what happens this year. IMO there’s a bright future ahead, and it probably will become a super valuable tool for American bettors and traders.

One feature I’m waiting for as well is the ability to take the NO side of props that traditional sportsbooks only offer one side on. Props and futures should have both sides available, and you should be able to set your own prices. I believe this app will have this sooner or later, can’t wait.

Novig is great for several reasons. The main thing I like is it strictly only allows single bets on spreads, moneylines and over/unders. The lack of ability to place parlays, prop bets or even teasers rids me of distractions and keeps me betting smart. The lines are also juicier than other books, and allows me to see exactly how much money each side is getting which turns out is a big factor in my decision making. The payouts are also faster than most other books.

Some issues are that the deposit/withdrawal methods are limited. Only bank and VIP allowed, no PayPal or Venmo. So it definitely takes more time for me to receive withdrawals. But FWIW Novig for reasons explained above helps me manage my bankroll (“Portfolio” as they call it) and play with house money, so withdrawals are not frequent anyway. Also the sign in process is the slowest out of any other app and it usually doesn’t keep you signed in.

I’m willing to ignore those issues though, because with Novig I feel like I’m finding a real path to profitability which is not something I’ve genuinely felt with other apps.

I’ve been using this app for a few days since their release and I actually notice better lines than the major sports books! For someone who’s serious about gambling it just makes sense to have this app and include it when comparing lines from different books

Novig is visually pleasing but also offers minimal vig with NO COMMISSIONS. If you are an average sports bettor, consider this app over DK and FD if you want the best prices in the market.

I’m a simple man. I like sports and I don’t like getting ripped off. From what I’ve seen, this app offers great lines. Plus it’s easy to use.
