This is unacceptable
Can’t even try it out without paying money.
It’s not great just because you have to be like a genius to know how to use Stilla. It’s super hard and confusing and very inconvenient. If you just wanna see if your products are good or bad. it’s just all super confusing, and not very helpful. You kinda just already need to know, if some stuff is good or bad. And if you don’t pay for premium, it blocks something’s, that COULD be really important. I would not suggest paying for premium. It’s a waste of your money, and a lot of your money, and it’s just not worth it. It’s super hard to even explain how hard of a time I had figuring this out and now I’m deleting Stilla just because I don’t even know how to use it. If you want to know how to use it I would suggest going to beauty school, just to know how to use Stilla. i’m definitely deleting Stilla and will never use it again. It couldn’t even find my bubble skincare. And bubble is well-known so how do they not even know what bubble is. would not, suggest please don’t buy, find a different app, run while you still have the chance, and please don’t pay any money to Stilla.
I am not a techie. Stilla was recommended for me by Peninsula Allergy Clinic. I cant do it. It is too difficult. I think i was successful only twice in scanning a barcode.
I usually never write reviews but I think Stilla is such a great idea and can really improve with some changes!
For background- I got Stilla and payed so i could see what products i can use and avoid for my acne. While this product showed a list of ingredients i had to go in and look if each one would cause or effect my acne :(
The Goods
- Easy to use
- Sale on year buy!
- Wide range of products
- Easy to read
- You can track your items
- You can track certain ingredients
- The routine tracker is so cool
The Bad
- It’s a but overpriced in my opinion like most apps these days. i feel like 2.99 a month would be fine. or even do what yuka did and just have a donate to use!
- It can be hard to understand why products are bad or if they are bad.
-Not enough info on ingredients and if they are good or bad for skin.
- No explanations for ingredients and what they are and why they are good/bad/or neutral
- I feel like the subscription should just allow you to track certain ingredients but instead just unlock the routine, information on ingredients, and a way to see if they are bad or good for ur skin type.
Improvements that can be made!
- Add a skin scanner like other apps to see what your skin type and problems are!
- Do a more extensive skin survey at the beginning asking about certain allergies, sensitivities, have a list of skin conditions to chose from.
- Have a list of skin problems that you would like to help/track ranging from all the different types of acne to things like aging, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, under eye, etc.
- Have a before and after option to track skin progress.
- Add information backgrounds on chemicals and why they are harmful.
- Add a simple yes, maybe, or no on products for each persons skin that matches what they put in the survey.
- Have a way to see if you can mix certain ingredients.
- Add warnings to some products of ingredient like “may cause acne”, “may cause reddness”, “may cause purging”, “may cause pillling” etc.
-Add a rating on each ingredient if it’s good bad or neutral.
-Make the design more minimal and simple, the cover isn’t very appealing and could deter users, Instead of blue text and blue background stick with something more minimal like a black text on a plain white or beige background, with a more identifiable logo and not just what people think is a blob.
All these improvements may be hard to make but i feel will take Stilla to the next level and really kick everything else out of the park.
Stilla is ok, but you have to pay for so much information
It’s a good app to see what’s in it but for teens they really don’t know what their allergic to so it’s hard for it to work and also you have to pay to see a lot of ingredients
You have to pay for it
I have the drunk elephant, Lala retro whipped cream and the virgin. luxury face oil and I have the glossy watermelon toner, and I was very sad that I could not use those because my mom was afraid it was too much on my skin and then I got Stilla and realized that I’m not gonna be able to use the glow recipe which I don’t care with, but I’m going to be able to use my drunk elephant so I am so happy
I like how you can set up your routines on Stilla . When you put in a product, it shows you the upsides and also how it helps your skin concerns. The amount of products is a little lacking but I’m sure it’ll build up with time. I really like the clean interface.
I didn’t think I was gonna buy the full version but it’s totally worth it! It’s so easy to use & breaks down the formula simply. I do wish I could add pictures of my products or title them instead of having the ingredients saved & bookmarked
Great for young kids
These products that I have been scanning is telling some true things about them and I love that and now I know some products that I should not get it should stop using and some products that I should keep on using I love Stilla I read it about a 10 out of 10. It’s amazing I recommend. This is not a paid review. By the way this is just my honest opinion I may be young, but at least my skin will not be bad whenever I’m older
I give Y’ALL
It tells me if my skin care is good or bad I love Stilla so much ❤️
Great tells me which products I should use!
It really helps! I didn’t know half the products I own had stuff that was bad for my skin- and that it caused my acne outbreaks, but since I’ve started to check my products, it’s really helped!
Stilla helped me figure out which products were breaking me out and which products I should try instead. 10/10 recommend!
It tells me what I should be using on my face.
