This update is really bad

I’ve been a paid member for years. The mobile app is horrible. I’ll keep it for now to be able to play on my Mac, but if you force the update I’ll have to use another app. This mobile app is really bad. Whoever looked at this and said, “this awesome has poor judgement.” Don’t take advice from them ever again. It’s so bad, I’m thinking of just leaving altogether. I love playing chess when I’m waiting for my daughter or just chillin out. But now the user interface is not appealing, not intuitive. It’s just bad. Just bad.
Ruined by update

This used to be a great app. But after the last update you cannot customize the pieces or the board unless you sign up. Well, I just want to play chess against a computer.
I don’t want to have to remember yet another password or read through many, many paragraphs of terms and conditions.
The app developers can of course do whatever they want. But I’ll be deleting this chess game and looking for a friendlier one.
An update that makes the app utterly useless

I don’t write reviews. This probably is my first review. Everyone that was involved in the design and approval of the updates should be fired. An app update shouldn’t change the user experience completely. This update makes the visualization so jarring that I can’t even figure out what my move or my opponent’s moves are. If the update is not rolled back, I will be deleting the app.
