Open trap - biggest cheaters plus Waste network with worst app

Pls ppl avoid this app if u r taken it then pls port your number if u want to save the number. When you raise a complaint and this app customer service people will close the complaint automatically without your concern. App is waste u can’t reach customer care number but Vi will send u plenty of messages in day to update your
Alternate number, email ID and etc. mental harassment. pls avoid using this app app or service but this app service can get worlds worst medal.
this app service provider is a big trap. as you take a year plan n pay the money. Then ur real problems start . without intimation they will stop your service n say that trai has given a request where trai has no rights to stop the services after that service ppl will say your number is used in Anti social element so we can’t reactivate it but u can buy the same number after 15 days. U paid one year plans that loss more over u can buy your number after 15days does the bonus on loss. Cheap tricks pls avoid this app

Information displayed is inconsistent

Vi does not show the accurate representation of how things are show at the back end of vodafone. For eg to me in Vi it shows three data plan activated but when I called the Vodafone helpline, the customer representative say that it is showing as not available at their end. So the info shown on Vi is misleading leading to confusion and when you call helpline they say ohh we cannot do anything it is showing inactive while u continue to use data expecting you have a data plan activated. Secondly if you want to add add-on’s there is no straightforward way to do it. Before making the cutover for all operations to just Vi Vodafone should have tested all the scenarios.

Internet speed reduced after recharge

Worst app i have raised a complaint against my internet speed through Vi no response. Its been 4 days now. The speed went down after i have recharge for the amount of 449/-. I have called up in the complaint number day before yesterday the executive told me it will get resolved in 4 hrs. Now its more than 40 hours. Worst customer service. I will never recommend any of my known people to switch to this app. Unorganised and irresponsible management.

Please remove this app

I would give negative stars if there is such an option. It is the worst app I have used. Before the update, I had difficulties in recharging my plan every time and was forced to recharge online. Now after updates, the screen just freezes. It becomes completely useless. Why such a poor app is allowed to be on Vi stores? It wasted so much of our precious time in life. This should not be acceptable. Please do something about it so others are not becoming victims of such a lousy product. We all deserve better.

Misleading info on app

Vi provides a Family Plan option to add multiple numbers, whether prepaid or postpaid, to be paid as one bill under RED Together. However it won’t activate if you try to actually add a prepaid number under a primary postpaid number. Customer service then tells you only postpaid numbers can be added in RED Family plan. Either app needs to be fixed or the misleading info needs to be corrected. Otherwise just wasting customers time in trying to activate something that is not allowed in first place ... disappointing!

Website issues

Not sure if Vodaphone is aware of the website issues. I have been using Vi trough my IPad for a long time. All of a suddenI got logged out cannot get back into the site to check the balance on my account or usage. This is going on for several days. When I tried to log in, I can put one digit of my phone number, then the screen act up as if it is going to load the pages. But it does not allow me to put the entire phone number. This keeps on happening every time I attempt to log in. Does someone there looking at the issues and trying to fix it. This is really frustrating and unacceptable.

Not happy with the international service

I am an American I paid Gujarat guess with Google Pay and I even received the OTP from there but when I try to get a OTP from the government website, I could not do it. It just would not work this phone then I went to the chat they were telling me to put a money more money or recharge. I recharge it for 600 something rupees it still didn’t work. Not happy at all I can get other OTP and I end up paying for one day 600 some thing and it did not work. What are rip off? And I was pre-paid until March. I know they’re not gonna return my money so ridiculous.😡😡

Illegal deductions from account balance

My number was automatically subscribed to a caller tune service on multiple occasions without my consent and Rs. 99 was deducted from my balance. I got a series of lengthy messages in quick succession and was lucky to actually take some time to read and realize that this had happened - I would've never realized that the deduction took place had I not noticed.

The customer care representatives refuse to accept my claim and yet cannot provide any proof that I have ever given consent to subscribing to these Caller Tune services. They've initiated a refund but only because I called and got the services deactivated instantly. I'm still to receive the amount.

These unethical means of swindling money from unnoticing customers without their consent must be stopped.

Poor connection

Very poor connectivity in my area. Signal strength is just one bar. I have reported many times but there is no improvement in connectivity. I have to go out into balcony to be able to make a conversation. Many a times after dialing a number nothing happens for 30 to 40 seconds and then it either connects or get busy tone. Sometimes I dial my wife’s number ( also Vodafone) who is sitting next to me and I get the prompt” Outside coverage area”. Don’t you think there is something drastically wrong here. If there is no improvement in your service and call dropping, I will change to another service provider . So you better do something to improve your connectivity problem in my area. I hear that you want to increase tariffs but there is no effort to improve service. So first improve your service and then think of increasing tariffs.

Terrible navigation - activation of roaming packs is painful

Whoever made Vi hasn’t done any user testing of it. Can never find the true status of what roaming pack we are on, when exactly will it expire, etc. deliberately designed to confuse the customer in order to squeeze a few days of extra money out of the customer. And be prepared to waste atleast one hour for their chat service when all it takes is literally 5 minutes provided the navigation is working fine.

No use after refresh

I have been using Vi for a while. This used to work well with multiple numbers added in the same account. But now, couldn’t navigate to the other number in the account. Also once you pull down to refresh it comes with a grey screen and stuck there. Need to kill Vi and relaunch for using it again. And same scenario after relaunch as well. Can’t navigate to the other number and no use after refresh.

Staff follows through regularly, but technical support stinks

I have been using My Vodafone app and it used to work well. For the last few weeks, Vi does not show the data (such as how much data I have used and how much is left, how many SMS messages I used and how many are left, etc). I called customer support and they are easily reachable and took the details. They asked me to send the screenshot and I sent it. Everyday morning and evening I get a call to check whether the problem is fixed or to tell me that in 24 hrs it would be fixed. I was impressed at their follow up. Finally they fixed the problem 2 days back and I was happy. However, the fix is short-lived and again it starts showing blank data screen. I think Vodafone technology needs upgrade and technical staff needs training. Disappointing that they could not fix this simple problem properly.

Too slow

Vi should prioritise its basic functions such as balance checks, data usage, etc but it seems to be more interested with flashy banners of offer and less important stuff making Vi loading painfully slow for what it should be. I even frequently encountered loading errors when all I wanted just to check my data and credit balances.

Call issues

Hello vodafone, i understand this is a review section and deserves to have better reviews but kindly help me with the call issues many along with me are facing due to the signal... which is causing my voice not able to be heard to the caller also ehen im calling to any of my relatives.
No voice
No rectification
Also after visiting the vodafone office they have no reach to the team who can rectify it. Iam humbly thankful and want this service more ahead in future but your assistance is highly needed as iam facing this since more than a month Now. Im sure your time is valuable but your service is also valuable for me. Iam waiting for your responce as iam sending this query from Hyderabad.

Billing details

App should provide bill details even in e bill there are no details as it used to be before Merger with Idea. Lot of issues after merger like no signal in many places which was not the issue at my home address. Not sure why it would stop getting signal where I have been living for 15 years just after merger.

Could be so simple!

I want to love Vi. It seems so simple and easy to pay, but 2/3 of the time my payment does not go through. My payment just worked after 3 tries over 3 days… Right now i can’t even post this review because it’s making me choose a nickname and they are all taken….

Very convenient

Able to track my data. Pay bills, checkout offers, check itemized bills. Last due date much more. Never needed a call center support from the date when I started using Vi. Works so good with IOS . Thank you Vodafone again for making my life easy.

No DND complaints feature — needs improvement

One of the issues with Vodafone India is how difficult it is to report DND (Do Not Disturb) issues. It requires calling Vodafone because you can’t find it easily on the website even if you spend several minutes looking for it. Vi is no different. It focuses on billing and selling plans and offers from third parties. If Vi is updated to register DND complaints easily and intuitively, it’d be a good upgrade. Otherwise it’s mostly useless.

Needs improvement

Vi works weird and most of the time doesn’t shows accurate information for the linked accounts.
