Goolink Reviews

Goolink works fine on LAN (Wi-Fi) at a remote location, but will no longer work on WAN (Cellular data connection 4G LTE). The reason is that the carriers are using IPv6 now and Goolink is not setup to work with that. Until they make it compatible, its really worthless for remote viewing of your system on your iPhone unless you are at work or someplace with Wi-Fi available.
Please add IPV6 support!

Update: I learned that of you use a VPN to route your data then it will work on cellular LTE connection. Works very well.
The ads are becoming more annoying especially the ones with sounds when you are trying to check the cameras while in a meeting or at church.

Goolink itself is adequate for viewing my cameras. However the ads that pop up before Goolink launches are just uncalled for. There are no way to bypass or stop the ad from playing. And that being said the worst thing is the ads that are accompanied with sound that cannot be turned off. Many times I need to open Goolink while in s location where sound from my phone is unacceptable and the ad just plays away sound and all. Give us a break and at
least make the ads silent.

This now my second year using it, adds are killing this good app, some adds you just can't stop it, music sound loud and most of the time I can't mute. Looking for another one.

4 cameras working remotely with Goolink for more than a year without a problem, updates don't stop or malfunction the use of my system 24/7. Plus tree more system in the family with no hassle Great job programer

I use Goolink with my iPhone and it’s working great . I wish i can see 8 channels in the same time ? Only 4 is not enough.
I wish i can remove the add that show up in the beginning

I Agree with previous reviewers. Works well buts can’t get rid of those annoying ads. Would be nice if options to stop was option.

It works great, only for 64ch nvr, it doesnt connect to it, says "check link net states" when choosing 32 or auto.

Cool App, easy to install, HD, waiting for good updates. WFII works great on iPhone.

Goolink has ads when open and while in operation. It's too bad for the developer and worst for the advertisers. Please, consider this review ZERO STAR.

Not working with I.os 10.2 Stop working with Cellular data (LTE) just wifi only. Please update and fix it.

App was fine till the update. No longer works. Will not let me log in, I am able to still log in from other non updated devices.
Of what I can see though, it'll be much better then the previous version....love the new GUI.
It sees my NVRs locally, but does not display video.

ADS ADS ADS!!! And it deletes ALL of your cameras!!!! Do NOT UPGRADE!!!! GREEDY APP DEVELOPER!!!

The new app plays ads before you can view your cameras. It's a major inconvenience to wait for an ad to play when I'm trying to quickly view one of our babies overnight because I think I've heard them. To add to the awfulness, some of the ads play sound even if the phone is on silent. Nothing like waking up your sleeping spouse or the child you just got to sleep while checking on the other one. Ridiculous.

I am using Goolink with a Cotier mini NVR (8 channel) and six Cotier 1080p IP cameras.

The auto setup function worked great and it seems to be stable.

I have no reason to give anything other than five stars.

I have been using Goolink for about eight months now. Have never had a problem until now. App has updated now I can't seem to get it to work.

App worked fine... Then along comes an upgrade.. It's the same app. Same interface. Only now when you launch Goolink you get anything from an ad that pops up that you have to close to a 5 second ad you can't close or even a 10 second ad you have to watch before you can move on. There isn't even an option to pay to remove them.... Which I would do. So don't upgrade unless you just like watching ads when you launch Goolink .

9-20-16 Update
It looks like a "Pro" version is now available in store. I bought it and can confirm there are no ads in it. It is exactly the same as far as I can tell as this version but without the annoying ads.

It's working good with my nvr.

Worked great until the 7/4/16 update. Now it doesn't work at all.

The ads are so stupid and irrelevant! If you're so desperate for money, at least release a paid version!

P.S. There are similar apps to this app without the ads. Search google for similar apps. Then you have to authorize your code with that app.
