I really don’t know why there are so many negative comments on here! Yes, there is an option to spend money to get things you really want/need, but WHAT GAME DOESN’T??!! I love Farm Story 2 because the graphics are fun, it’s easy to use, there’s always something to do, and it’s just plain relaxing and peaceful to me. The one complaint I do have, related to spending money, is when there are events. If I’m participating and it’s against other people who are also trying to accumulate points toward something, it should NOT be an option for them to BUY their victories! The last event was about spring clean up. We accumulated points in various ways and I was working my rear off, doing it fair and square. I only got 5th place out of the 20 total people in the contest. I got just over 9,000 points, but the top people obviously BOUGHT their victories. Cripes, the first place person had over 21,000 points! Like I said, I really worked hard at this, checking things throughout each day MANY times, even 3:00 in the morning when I got up to go to the bathroom! But I was more than doubled up on points??!! Yes, the creators should be entitled to make money on this great game, but let the people buy rewards AFTER the events are done, if they didn’t win and really wanted something, not DURING, screwing people over along the way. That’s my ONLY complaint. Otherwise, I love this game and will keep playing for a loooong time!

The game could be fun, really fun. I enjoy building my farm, interacting with my neighbors, and earning things without being forced to spend money. I’m not above shelling out a few bucks for a cool pet, but honestly the cost of playing this game successfully is outrageous and, frankly, not worth it. The contests are tiresome and fill my warehouse with junk that continually needs to be weeded out. Seriously, there should be an opt out button. The pop ups selling other games are endless and annoying. Then there are too many hard to produce items, like almond milk, that seem to be a necessary ingredient in everything but unless you shell out cash money for blooming almond trees, there is never almond milk. Finally, it is almost impossible now to put together an inventory for deliveries by plane, train or by truck, and the paperwork and gold bells necessary to grow the farm is scarce to non existent, or even useless. My reward for filling a truck is a collection of bells that have no purpose at my level or any level in the foreseeable future. I’ve yet to earn one gold bell, and I need three for a smokehouse.

You have taken an enjoyable , relaxing game and pretty much ruined it with unnecessary “extras” that appear to be all about lining your pockets. I’m realistic, I know this is about money for you, but your product suffers Shame!

I've played these games, all the story games, for quite some time!! It's sad to see that it has become more about money than the game. If you actually want to win a quest, you either have to be on the game 24/7, hoping they will let your items appear or buy gems. In most cases, If you don't buy gems, your items needed will not appear and you will lose. When you mention something to the support team, it's like your game is targeted and punished.
One quest allowed players to buys certain items and they would level up. When the game, people running the show, figured it out, they no longer allowed the item to be for sold .... yes, they blocked it. It could be for sell but not one else could see it to buy it.
You used to be able to buy/sell extras from a quest .... that is no longer allowed. If you finish the quest early, you're forced to keep the extras in your storage. You can't sell or delete them. Your storage becomes full and the game is held hostage until the quest is over. When you are allowed to finally sell it, it's for "pennies" and no longer needed. Then and only then are you allowed to discard them in order to make room.
They have lost over half of their workforce and the game shows it. There are no extras other than the train and deliveries. It just seems like they have given up on us as players of their game.

Bring back the original Farm Story, as it was then. I know it won’t happen, it was a while ago, that if you did, it would be like bringing back an early 90’s 8-bit game. It was one of the best game apps. It was enjoyable, for the five years of playing it. No annoying ads, and wasn’t trying to get you to spend money to get further into the game. It was an easy going game. The best part of it that I had neighbors from all over the globe. I would talk to them on a regular basis. I was even able to be in contact with a couple of them, after you killed FS1 off. Just so you could get people to switch over to Farm Story 2(The Crappy Sequel). Nobody likes to start over again on a sequel , just so can include continuous ads, you were forced to spend more money for items that weren’t as fun to get, and so you can get further into the game etc. FS2 was stressful to play, and it was more work than fun. I lost most of the people, I used to be neighbors with. They also didn’t want to start over. I guess as long as the consumer watches enough ads, spends that money, so you can make the game unenjoyable.
Hay Day has a 4.7, and #10, while FS2 has a miserable 3.9. So you must be doing something wrong. I remember when the original Farm Story was #1, for a long time. And you slowly killed it off.

I love playing the game, I honestly do, but the reason, why I’m giving it 2 stars, I have 4 reasons why. The 1st reason is it keeps reloading the game and makes you start over from the moment you started playing, I tried to wait it out, but it doesn’t work. The 2nd reason, I haven’t seen any updates on the delivery, I been playing the game for 2 years or more and then I took a break, the delivery is still at the normal option and the 2nd option hasn’t shown up. The 3rd reason is a question and a suggestion, I was wondering with the delivery truck, no matter how many times I try to get the bronze bell, I keep getting sliver. My question is; Can you give options if we have too many bells? My suggestion is: When we deliver the stuff, if we’re having a hard time getting the stuff, can we have a choice of like trading switching out a item to trade? And when are you going to update the the delivery track?

Last but not least, I literally had 30 gems or more saved up so I can expand, one day, the game decided to reload and I only have like 11 or something. I already asked about it and there’s no history of me having that many gems, there should be a notice for when your gems are going to disappear like that

Very little supplies for a lot of gems. Very costly for a game. Plus if during an event supplies were obtained, after the the event is finished, these supplies cannot be sold occupying the barn space, and it's so difficult to buy a barn supplies.
Also, diamonds are disappearing without my knowledge. I had 20 diamonds, then I noticed, they were gone. Most likely, when completing one of the tasks, I inadvertently clucked use diamonds to speed up a process, except I didn't. It would be much better, if there was a confirmation message before using diamonds to speed up any process.
Moreover, a real spoiler s that it's very difficult to collect coins to buy buildings or even more animals. Absolutely ridiculous prices for event buildings. Also, why am I being asked to fill staff for a train that I cannot produce yet, therefore, causing multiple unfilled trains, and trucks for that matter. Have no desire to continue the game, since all of the frustrating reasons above. Also, another downside is that the train or the truck are asking for products that I cant even make yet, for example sushi whose building will be available after 54th level, and Im on level 44. It would be nice and helpful if we could ask for help from other farmers, as I only am able to send 1 train out of 5, or the truck for that matter.

I’m roughly three days away from filing a complaint with the BBB on Storm8! My daughter and I downloaded FarmStory2 when I got my iPhone 7 in January and we built up our farm, made several in app purchases. Apple runs an update and just like that the software is no longer compatible 🙄. I went into an Apple store attempt to rectify the situation and I was told to contact the developers ( who’s paying me to do all that?) which was an act of God and if I remember correctly they never got back to me.

I download this game to try to rebuild the farm my baby girl loved so dearly, we were adjusting pretty good, but I had to change out phones so I ran a back up got my new phone and my farm has miraculously disappeared yet again. I’m writing Storm8 with little to no guidance and I am at the tail end of my 5-7 day wait, however my credit card was charged today for a $5.23 in app purchase 😡😡😡 I’m not even using FarmStory2 , I don’t have access to my farm and I’m not in the business of giving interest free loans. They’re not getting off so easy this time. The game is okay but you have to spend money otherwise it gets really boring really quick. I found better things to do on a Sunday rather than waiting to see if a tree would drop a leaf or some maple syrup 👎💩

I’ve been playing this game for a while and agree with a lot of others. It is engaging and there are good updates but you have to spend money to get things done.
I’ve never filled a train, have rarely filled a truck or balloon. Many items take sugar and it’s hard to grow enough sugar cane to make sugar. I’m constantly out of storage and have given up on the special tasks because the items take up too much room in an already full barn. (Why can’t they go elsewhere?)
So, to the developers, what would improve the game would be if you were more generous on expansion items for the barn, silo and farm (I have 80 of one item and only a few of another, which I rarely get). Make the train easier to fill so it’s more rewarding, same with the truck. On special tasks, have the items collected go somewhere other than the barn. I would also like more animals that one doesn’t have to buy with $$. I’ve been playing less and less because it’s become way less fun and it takes forever to level up.

unfortunately that”free games”deal is no good at all...also could u guys please give us more quests;add orr features;lower prices for everything &give us at least900gems gold coins energy etc &have us watch relaxing peaceful cruelty-free20second animal videos in order to get rewards &especially win more of everything??also it won’t let me use my end inventory at all...please fix ASAP...am contemplating possibility of deleting this game for good...only thing bringing me back is love for animals...

Please fix it so we can actually have order warehouse &more features so r stuff actually goes somewhere...also please put this game in portrait mode &at least they be considerate of all players...

Please for love of bree;fray;hekkah &helle quit limiting everything &quit gouging prices..also please add more features &quit expecting players in order to A be on24:7 &b tap on things that other go nowhere &or don’t exist at all...wer beyond sick of extreme greed &never havin enough of anything at all...I’m neither able nor willing to ever spend real money at all...

I just tapped a pile of riches (which cost 500 coins and require a gold trinket to activate) to get the pearl things that combine with the hen eggs (that come from the annoying unavoidable egg birds) and the filigree (that comes from pigs) and apple sugar, which is hard enough to produce, and go in a 5800-coin bakery to produce a red filigree egg, and because my barn was full (from frantically creating all kinds of materials to make money and deliveries to afford the new craft buildings), the pearl things evaporated instead of going into my barn. 1000 coins, an hour each, effort to get the gold trinkets, and poof - nothing.

Consider that the Easter items are constantly appearing and crowding my barn and apparently valuable and yet not at all. Add to that the delivery demand for the plane and truck for items that are not available until far above my current level. Look at how hard it is to get almond milk alone. Then seriously, tell me how this is not too infuriating to be worth any more effort. It was a nice little pastime for a while, and then now it’s like another job.

I really wanted to love this game. I played for as long as I could before there was literally nothing I could do except buy gems. That lasted a very short while. The prices for items are way too expensive, gem conversion to coins is way to low. There’s no way to earn money when you aren’t actively playing, the farm doesn’t generate any income offline, so constant game play is necessary to generate coins. However, once you find yourself stuck. (Unable to expand or upgrade storage) you have to spend money for gems. I dropped $50 and then after a couple days found myself stuck again unable to do anything. I’m not unfamiliar with this company either. I have been playing bakery story 1 for almost 6 years on and off, that game is awesome. I just got burned out from it. I was hoping this would be similar to that gameplay but sadly it’s not. I don’t mind spending money every now and then to upgrade or buy items I really want but when it because necessary to normal game play I have an issue with it.

I love Farm Story 2 and have been playing for a long time. It is relaxing and satisfying to be able to creatively and beautifully build your farm. But my biggest complaint are the events. There are so many, one right on top of the other! And I don’t care about 90% of them!! I just want to be able to play the game and have my own long and short term strategies without the constant events mucking everything up. I played this game a long time ago, took a break, and recently started playing again. The schedule of events was much more spaced out in the past. Now it’s no more than two days in between and is downright obnoxious. I guess the events must be some kind of big money maker for them? Maybe I’m in the minority here?

It’s such a cute game and can be addicting but to move forward they make it nearly impossible unless you spend actual money on gems. I know all “free” games offer in app purchases to speed things up, but this is probably the worst.
You level up and expand by completing orders, however lots of the things you need to ship involve ingredients that are locked until you level up. Also, all the contests they have make you earn useless items that fill up your storage space, preventing you from literally completing any actions. There is no option to opt out. You can’t delete items in your storage, only sell them and sometimes that takes days. You’re very limited in how many things you can sell at one time.

You can only expand once you have a certain number of parts, (you can only get parts by completing orders which is hard enough) but I’ve been playing for a few months and some of the items are so rare I’ve never come across them at all.

They’ve made it really hard to advance at all so the game feels stagnant after a while, it seems like the only option is to purchase gems to move forward. They’re expensive irl, and you use them up so quickly because everything is priced so high you could go through 200 of them within a few minutes and most likely wouldn’t even reach another level.

Some people are just haters, they need to back off. I have all the story games, dragon, fantasy forest, farm etc. l ❤️ them all. With farm story specifically though its really good but when you get to a certain point it is hard to level up for Instant you can only expand with tools to get said tools you must make deliveries, easy enough right? Well to make deliveries you must make thing to make things you must have a factory or a place to make them to get a factory you must have space to put it this takes us back to the expanding. It’s fun if you play once a day just to check in on it and inch forward from there other wise your right it would not be good. BTW you can eventually expand it just takes a while. HAVE FUN

To whom it may concern...

I have played this farming game for years and will continue to do so as I enjoy the daily interaction with the farm and especially neighbors! But, that will be all I do on the farm. No more gem purchases until things change back to the former ways. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way either.

The difficulty and darn near impossible quests/events are ruining this wonderful game!
All of the "Old Timers" have been discussing the recent quests! I believe the "Unicorn Quest" is the breaking point for most! You are only hurting yourself by making folks not want to spend any money on gems because they know that they STILL may not accomplish their goals!

The quests used to be enjoyable! We spent money because we knew we would leave the event with a plethora of goodies. It was exciting and satisfying at the same time! The quests back then also promoted friendly relationships with neighbors because you helped one another with the conquests!

Do you not realize this hurts your reputation? It was and could still be the greatest farming game on the market! Be wise, not greedy! Your payout is nothing more than digital animals and decorations! Why risk turning folks off to this great game.

Bring back the old way of game playing the quests! Our payoff is quest goodies, yours is cold hard cash!

Every time I go to school for Seven hours and do homework for two I look at FarmStory2 and there are at least fifty notifications also there is so much money need to get anything done it is rigged a if u EVER read this u should give the people a daily gift like u do but add some diamonds to it make it easier to level up easier to expand and maybe put there something that u can watch to get more diamonds for a change that is all that I have to say some of your games are good but most are bad it is also so annoying if u are not patient like me I can only sit still for so long without getting frustrated maybe like I said before make it easier to level up and get more diamonds PLS!!!!!!!!! Read other people’s to the have some stuff to say and u have a lot of changes to make I am so sorry if this is rude but it’s true

I play this game, daily, so I’m pretty bummed to not be able to access it. It’s been down since yesterday afternoon. I really hope things are fixed sooner than later.
Aside from this problem, this game has been my favorite game for years. I’ve never had an issue with Farm Story 2 or Storm8. I find it odd that other reviews consist of complaints about cost and quests being too difficult. Occasionally, I’ll spend a dollar or two on gems, but for the most part I’m able to consistently gain gems, coins and prizes from loading my train, sending deliveries, etc. Also, it’s not difficult to find what you need if you’re visiting other farms. It’s nice that you can buy from others, leave gifts and receive gifts! Overall, this is an excellent game! I love it!

The new quest are one on top of another . It becomes costly and very time consuming, the work to achieve the goals are really not realistic to someone who works in the real world . You loose heart ratings if you can’t just spend endless hours on your farm.
Quest must have a cheat app, people can gain thousands of points in a very short amount of time with a low farm level and very little animals or what it takes to earn the points. Only to be disappointed when you finish the quest you must spend money on 500 diamonds to house the new pet, really!
The human aspect is great . It’s great to make friend who can help you fill your orders. Farm story 2 has become a disappointment. Good luck friends!

I really like this game. It's pretty addicting. And it has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. My biggest issue is that its really hard to earn money. When you level up you unlock new items and buildings (normal) but then the delivery outpost fills up with only the new items that you can't get because you dont have the money to buy the building. So then you're stuck because you need money for the items... but you need the items for money... It it were fixed to only deliver things you have the buildings for or another money making option i think it would be perfect

It’s frustrating that if you want to advance in the game you have to spend money. I can’t see a reason to spend money on something as intangible as a phone game. Right now there’s an event where every time you send an order out you get rewarded with a component necessary for the event. Those items take up space in your storage and cause you to be stalemated against moving forward unless you purchase gems to get items that create more space or slots for selling extras, or wait 10 days for the event to end. This isn’t the end of the world but when I’m sitting nursing my baby I like to play a game and have a second to myself. It’s frustrating when games make it hard to enjoy doing that without spending all your hard earned money.
