Awesome app for editing places or adding new places, but it would help to have zoom buttons and the ability to search for places. Of note, it's funny that this iPhone app uses Bing maps lol.

There are small UI improvements that would be nice (default to numeric keyboards in fields that are frequently numeric, more user friendly tag suggestion, etc) but this is my favorite iOS OSM editing app.

Can I turn off tap and drag to zoom please? I’m always zooming when I unselect and try to pan. (Which is like tap and drag 😞)

Very easy to edit feature. Tracking works well, but ONLY if the device has internet access. It is an irritation when out on a hike to have downloaded aerials and have GPS but not to be able to draw your path. It would also be nice to have a better source of aerials. Sometimes I have to look at Google’s satellite view to figure out where to put a corner node in the extremely blurred this app image.

Fantastic app, eliminates a lot of the steps inherent in editing in a desktop environment.

A feature request: I would love to be able to open GPX files from HOT Tasking Manager to facilitate editing humanitarian tasks from Go Map. Right now if I open a GPX file in Safari on my iPad, I get the option (from the share menu) to “Copy GPX file to Go Map”, which launches Go Map and presents an error dialog stating it can’t be opened.

I’d love to see this fixed so I can do Humanitarian work!

GoMap does what it says. You can map and add tags to multiple places in OpenStreetMap map in a user friendly interface. However, it’s design looks somewhat unprofessional, and sometimes unorganized. For example, if you mark a place that accepts reservations as “Not Accepted”, it will show up on the editor as “No”. As well as the fact that if you get uploading errors, you will manually have to edit the xml yourself. It’d be nice if they had a conflict system in GoMap .

This is a fairly well done adaptation of editing OSM for the iOS interface. It’s basic, and lacks some of the more advanced features found in the standard browser-based editors, but it is much more usable with a touch interface than the browser-based editors.

I’m a delivery driver and often edit OSM at work. GoMap makes it so easy for me to add missing addresses and POIs. The interface is clean and the walkthrough gives a good explanation of how to get started.

Stuck without a wifi connection for my PC. this app made it easy to work offline with satellite imagery. It didn't take long to learn the interface.

I highly recommend GoMap because in 2019, it’s still the only one that allows you to add meaningful edits to OpenStreetMap on iOS. It’d be worth the price at $10, but it’s free! It’s one of my few must‑haves.

This is the most powerful editor for open street maps by far, it’s leagues above any other app I’ve found. The only problem is that I don’t find the need to press a separate button in order to submit the user’s revisions to OSM necessary, it just makes the design more cluttered and leaves many users confused, other than that, I’m really enjoying GoMap and will continue updating OSM with it!

GoMap continues to impress with editing features for doing some quick edits of OpenStreetMap while on the go. It's easy to select and manipulate the map objects and edit the list of tags. GoMap is by far the best OSM editor for iOS.

It's so easy to adjust and add to OSM maps. I only wish it had better list of tags to choose from. I spend a lot of time searching to find the appropriate metadata for a POI I want to add, e.g., parking lot, and lookout both seem to be missing.

GoMap has it all and is close to JOSM as you can get on a mobile device. It gives you almost full editing abilities so you can add details and make corrections while away from home. Great app that i use every day.

Intuitive, easy to use, and the user interface is not cluttered. Major plus that no user data is collected as indicated in privacy statement. Big thumbs up to the developer for building/maintaining such a great OSM iOS tool. Thanks!!

I want to keep my GPX tracks, but setting delete GPX tracks to: “never” actually means “every time you exit GoMap ” so I am forced to select delete after 99 days. I have automatic cache control OFF. I have any other setting which might interfere set to NOT interfere to the best of my knowledge, but I am at my wits end here. HELP!
This is the best GPS mapping and tracking app that exists, so I am still giving five stars, but PLEASE HELP!

If you want to share your local knowledge this is the best way to add all those features that the majors ignore (bicycle parking, country paths, shortcuts, etc). Two tips: I’ve found the ‘Editor with Aerial’ option is easiest to work with. Also, long press the GPS arrow to pull up a search option so you can quickly locate an address. Go Map!! is efficient and somehow free; by making it easy to add and update we all benefit from better maps
