SketchMeSketchCartoon is the best of both worlds: your taste and the smarts of the machine. I mean, its presets are a great start, and the ability to tweak them with three sliders is super! If this programmer offered an even more full-featured photomodding app I’d be happy to buy that.

I love all the apps by this developer, so happy to see this one Updated! This is one of my very favorite sketch effect apps!

2018 Update: App will not upload a photo from my Camera Roll. Please fix!
Previous review (5 years ago): Many artistic and other interesting effects not usually found elsewhere can be easily applied to your photos. You can tweak brightness, contrast, etc. Highly recommend SketchMeSketchCartoon!

Found this to be a great app to have among your photo enhancers for that special effect. Try it. You will like it.

Unfortunately if importing from album just a plain wrinkle canvas i see. And no picture imported. Please fix this.

Any app that doesn’t include control for horizontal GUI is just poor development.

Every time I try to save to camera roll, SketchMeSketchCartoon crashes.

When comparing to other apps that turn a photo into a sketch simulation, there are no others that offer the control, the options, or the quality which this one does. I've tried about 30 other apps of this type and xnSketch is by far the best! With a little tweaking and adjusting you can achieve a very realistic effect.... and the price is quite right too!!

I hardly ever review apps. When I do it's either because there awful, or because there the best. SketchMeSketchCartoon is THE BEST pic app on the entire App Store in my opinion. It is absolutely fantastic! Easy to use and the results are stunning! If you like pic apps, you simply MUST have this one!! Hats off to the dev's of this one. Great job!!

Honestly, I've tried many of these same type apps. Some were OK. A few were pretty good. SketchMeSketchCartoon gives you pictures you'd frame and hang on a wall. Simple, intuitive and professional results. Gets a place of honor on my phone. Great app!

I love the outcome of SketchMeSketchCartoon except it crashes when I go to save it to my camera roll! Plz fix this I love the way the photos turn out afterwards ;( fix this and 5 stars will be my next review! For now I'm going to try to delete it ad reinstall it!

2nd review months later! I open SketchMeSketchCartoon and it crashes can't even use it! Please fix or ill have to delete an app that used to be good;(

I really Like this program. I do wish There was an easy way to delete what you've worked on - that's the only problem I see. It looks like it's better than cam wow by a mile. Thanks for the program.

Best toon effect I've seen!!! This dev was quick to reply to a suggestion for next update of allowing portrait photos not just cropped or landscape!! Bravo!
Highly recommend SketchMeSketchCartoon, must have for fans of sketch effects!

Not only is this exactly what I was looking for, but I can tell you that in my opinion it does as good or better of a job at some of the effects than some photoshop plugins that retail for a lot of money.

SketchMeSketchCartoon really nails it. What it does it is really good at.
Easy to use, great effects, and lots of them, all with sliders to tweak the look you want.
It's going to replace a few other similar apps on my iPhone.

I'd like to practice a little bit more as it looks like it has potential. Unfortunately it's stuck in SketchMeSketchCartoon store showing that it's loaded but I cannot use it. I rebooted the iPad and tried everything but the program is not on the iPad and won't work even though it shows up as being on iPad and installing. Frustrating.

This is a wonderful app. I love going through my photos and applying the interesting, well done filters. I then send the photos to my friends or upload to Facebook, dropbox, and other connections. You won't be disappointed.
