PicFrame Reviews

It is very nicely designed except that THE most important feature is missing: there is no image resize function!!! For example, if you have a family portrait, it is going to most going to cut a few family members out. PicFrame only allows you to move the image around in the frame, but not reduce or enlarge the image. This is a major design flaw that effectively makes PicFrame useless. If PicFrame designer can tell me I’m wrong, I will gladly change my review.

I’ve had PicFrame for awhile now but I just wish y’all wouldn’t force us to pick a template sometimes. Sometimes I want to edit a picture and put a certain label but it gets ruined by me picking a template it either makes the photo too small doesn’t fit the part you want. I just wish y’all had an option where we wouldn’t have to do that

I love PicFrame and use it often. I’m finding however, that lately it will randomly crash and I will lose the work I’m in the middle of doing. Sometimes I will select multiple photos to put into a frame and only two will show up (normally each photo you select appears in the frame). I am frustrated by these glitches and hope they get fixed soon so I can continue using pic frame!

To be honest, I only got PicFrame because you can make widescreen collages. Otherwise I prefer Pic Collage.

Two things would have made this better:

1. the ability to select the pictures you want in the collage and then choose a template so you don’t have to know how many pics will be in the collage up front

2. the ability to pinch the picture to make it smaller thus allowing the entire picture to be inside the box without having to resize/adjust the layout of the template - It allows you to zoom in on an image but you can’t zoom out so you can fit the entire image in the box.

I've been using PicFrame for years to fit my picture on social media without cropping and with a white background however the picture no longer fit I have to crop or somehow go to another app to make the picture smaller and because I want the white background I resort back to PicFrame fix that bug and you will be a 5 star!!!!! Thanks

PicFrame is great and I’ve been using it for a few years now. The only issue I continue to run into is when I add a word and go to change the font, it closes the font options before I can resize or even choose a font. It doesn’t do it all the time but enough for me to let you know. Other than that PicFrame is great. Please fix this issue. Ty

Good app that I use often, however not going to switch to subscription use. I realize that what I originally paid for I’m getting (I was told), but I don’t like seeing locks, etc. I’d rather have the opportunity to pay for additional frames that I use.

I’ll just use my other photo apps that I have instead of this one.

4 Stars instead of 5.

Newest update seems to have fixed my crashing issue when adding photos after choosing the layout. Thank you! New interface is ok, wish I could “hide” the locked frames so you don’t have to scroll through them to find the ones you can use. Still, a really useful app I use all the time!

I use this on a daily basis. I keep journal and memory keep so the many options to print out several pictures is amazing. The only reason I’m giving four stars is because I would like to see them integrate circle or oval frames.

The new update took a feature that I used to use very often. Before I was able to add a white border to my Instagram pictures by just using 2:3 or 3:2 without any borders. I used that feature every since I created my account on Instagram (almost 10 years ago) and now I am not able to do it anymore. A little disappointed.

Update: The developer contacted me to inform that you can actually still use the feature :) you just have to go to settings and choose “save to Instagram as a square”. I tried and it works!

I can’t live without PicFrame. As a professional organizer I take photos daily of my before and after work . PicFrame Allows me to place the photos side by side.

After not updating PicFrame for months, the updated now if you times in the last few weeks and the last update they screwed it up. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I have been spending hours trying to crop my pictures until I found PicFrame. It makes doing collage pictures so much easier and faster!!!! I love it!

I appreciate PicFrame. I use it to organize and print my family photos for scrapbooking,And use it to post multiple pictures of items I list for sale

I like that I can do at least five videos without having subscribe to PicFrame and that I can set up the proportions of the video collage however I see fit.

I don’t usually leave reviews but PicFrame was consistent and free. If I have some extra money later I will buy premium just to support the creator even though I don’t need it because the simple free designs were what I was looking for.

Simple, easy to use, and great results. I love being able to combine a bunch of pics into a single photo, and all the various frame options make it so I can easily handle the number of pics and vertical/orientations to have the best possible display.

Love the multiple photo frames that allow you to use different photo sizes in each section, yet the outside frame is square for posting to Instagram! Very easy to use! It is my go to app for signing my work - best options for font color, style, size and label transparency!

Edit: as the response from the developer states. The option to save as a square to IG Is still there. So, it goes back to being one of my most used apps for setting photos and making collages.

This was a great app.
But the recent update got rid of the ability to put white borders on a photo while keeping a square format for Instagram. I was able to show photo in any dimension but keep a square format for IG.
Before the update, this was a 5 star app.

I use PicFrame ALL the time - it is the easiest and most intuitive of all the collage apps and allows to choose pic quality, landscape or portrait mode and takes just seconds to make a collage - love you guys!

I love to compare things and take before and after photos to see how things changed. PicFrame is fun! Instead of having to scroll through four picture they can be together as one.

This editing app is the one I use most often. In fact, I have removed most others from my devices. If you have a mobile picture printer, PicFrame allows for easy sizing and editing along with multiple photos per sheet. Could do with a few more options for photo size but I'm not complaining.

I used to love PicFrame until this past iOS update. PicFrame is now kind of buggy, cuts off the last pic in any of the collages, and distorts the images. What’s going on?
