Email Templates Reviews

Normally I'll write reviews after using sims too for a while. I take my online crdibility seriously & therefore take a more methodical approach; specifically, like breaking in a saddle — using an app to where I'm confident that my critique is of value.

This is the first tome I've written a review, not knowing EmailTemplates well at all.

Why?

Well, like the truly homeless, EmailTemplates hits me with deparation each time I use it, which might not be that long. Every time I.e. Ter I'm met with a plea for s good review.

It's very sad, so here's my contribution,and R/, we delete it. In addition I can't see what I am typing so this is whatever does the it does the in addition I can't see what I am typing so we knows what this says whatever it does the action speak louder than words bye-bye application bye-bye college student high school student elementary school. Just promise me you won't cry.

Reviewing after initial use because there’s something missing that’s important for this type of app. When you “use” a template, it creates a new email message to be sent from your default email address. To select a different “from” address requires editing the message’s addressing.

Why is this a problem? My iPhone is used for both personal and work purposes. Its default email address set to my personal account (to minimize the chances of embarrassment :). I’m more likely to use email templates with my work account. Thus, nearly every time I use EmailTemplates, I need to modify the “from”/sender address.

The point of templates is to minimize this type of repetitive, manual adjustment. So: specifying a default “sender” address/account for each template would be great.

My second concern is that contacts are not auto-filled as you type them into a template’s address list. You need to press the “+” icon and navigate the “Contacts" search function to find a destination address.

If the developer would make just these two changes/enhancements, I’d rate this 5 stars!

Update: EmailTemplates recently updated and ALL of my templates were GONE!! I had to re-enter all of them. What a pain! Now I am scared this could happen again. May advice is to copy /paste all your templates into a doc so next time EmailTemplates updates and potentially deletes all your content you have all your templates somewhere. Also, the updated app looks nice but I can't see that it does anything new beyond probably now being compliant with the latest OS.

My original review: I am trying to run my small business just on an iPad and give up the laptop. The only thing making the apple email miserable for me was the lack of being able to create templates. I was trying everything - saved drafts, copy/pasting, forwarding, what a mess. EmailTemplates is simple and works and I am so happy now. Thank you so much for this, really!

I wholeheartedly agree with RDS999. Also, please add support for filing templates into folders. As well as a link to open in a SMS message instead. Then I would give us five stars! But, in any case, this is a must-have and I wish it would be integrated into the native email app.

I had been desperately trying to find an email template app for iPad for a daily mailing I send to multiple people. I finally came upon this one that was perfect for this. I couldn’t do without it.

I use EmailTemplates to send pictures of invoices to all my customers on templates emails. It was the only solution I could find to work well with Gmail on my iPhone, sending JPEGS instead of the weird file type iphones normally use, and properly showing up in my sent folder on Gmail after sending. Thanks so much to the developer for this awesome tool!

Keep up the good work. Worth the price :) was tired of creating the same email and this is great. If it is missing or something that you would like to be added don't low rate it. Just add it to your review because EmailTemplates works flawlessly. Downgrade the rating because it doesn't have something you like is wrong that's what reading the description is for before purchasing.

I own a Computer Business and use an iPad with cellular to take payment on the job and invoiceASAP to create invoices. After I do a job for a new customer, I have an email template that has info showing where they can go to write a review, etc. I have another I send when payment is not received according to my terms. EmailTemplates is outstanding for what I want it to do and use it daily. Simple but does exactly what it should and nothing more. Nice job! Love it.

Email Templates is great! It’s very intuitive without having to deal directly with variables, macros, etc. Now although EmailTemplates only accesses to iOS Mail app, that’s fine. It could be better this way instead of having a Share Sheet extension.

Anyway, if you’re looking for Templates for emailing just get EmailTemplates. It works very well!

I looked at all the apps for email templates and this one I found to be the most useful. Very simple gets straight to the point. There aren't 100 million buttons that you have to push just to write a simple email template. Extremely user-friendly inconvenience too!

EmailTemplates helps Soooo much. Funny how these big companies always leave out features that are actually useful. Who do they survey when they build these things?

Anyway, this is just what I need for work. And I love the fact that it saves the subject and Cc/Bcc info as well.

Most importantly, I love that EmailTemplates utilizes the old way of selling apps - one time fee and you’re done. No weekly/ monthly/ yearly subscriptions. No ads popping up all the time. I HAAAAATE ads. And no free option with a million in-app purchase requirements to fully utilize the program.

The only thing I would suggest is to offer the ability to choose which mail app to use with the program - if it’s not to difficult to implement. If so, leave it as is. I can always edit my Mail app as needed.

Am I missing something here? I think it would be amazing to have a option to have a file attachment. In my business I need to send the same email over and over with a service contract..would love to be able to add that to this. Thanks!

Hello! I’d definite Recommend EmailTemplates to anyone in Need of sending pre-automated emails. Only concern i have is that i might know how to or there us no function to reorder the messages. I tried hold and drop, nothing. Please include this in a future update!!!

I set up templates for two students who have behavior issues. I list each part of the day and put 3 emoticons after each 😀😐😕
Takes 20 seconds after busses leave to delete 2 of the emoticons and send that day's feedback to parent. HUGE TIME SAVER! Thanks!

An easy program to set up and use. Very straight forward. If you have prepare repetitive canned messages, this is a great program to use. After building your template, save it. Updates/editing are very easy to do. Thanks much to the developer for this effort.

Thanks for developing EmailTemplates! This is exactly what I was looking for. My day was consumed sending emails while on the go via my iPhone. EmailTemplates saves me so much time-- the only problem is what will I do with all that free time?

This is a great app I really hope he updates it so it will work in iOS 11. If you run a business you will find EmailTemplates so useful. It will even sync between your different devices such as an iPad mini, an iPhone or an iPad. Thank you so much for creating EmailTemplates, I would really be lost without it. Daily, I have to send fairly long replies to potential customers regarding our products. We mfg. and sell Panflutes (panflute(dot)net) and people have a lot of questions. Now I can get back to them with ease while on the go.

We just started using this for our small business. Looking forward to see its impact. I wish my CRM had this; you should present this to Mainstreet.

My business leans HEAVILY upon EmailTemplates. I use it everyday for international communications. I sometimes notice some quirks with adding contacts to the template, but overall... EmailTemplates works amazingly! Highly recommended!

Can't wait for this to grow, it's already great simple and to the point and does exactly what it says yet saves me a lot of time. I can't wait for the developer to enhance EmailTemplates as time progresses, I know it'll only get better! It would be awesome if we could have fields to enter names and send multiple emails at once !!!
