At first, StarDiscovery was great. But after 2 minutes, it asks me for a 3 dollar weekly subscription and you can’t use it anymore.

When I first downloaded it, it was great and I used it constantly. It was my favorite app. But then after only one update, it started freezing and closing out. I deleted it and redownloaded it. That didn’t work, so I purchased the $0.99 version of it (the first one was free). That version worked for a while and I thought it was money well spent, until the same thing happened where it would freeze and close out every time. I always check to see if there’s updates for it to fix it, but there’s not. So I was forced to delete it.

Warning: Just adware! Download a real astronomy app; don't waste your time with this.
This is very lousy. It's one of numerous virtually identical lousy pseudo-astronomy apps.
There are at least 5 apps in StarDiscovery Store which are using this exact same starviewing engine. Some may have a slightly different user interface, but they are all the same weak, nearly useless engine.
They are basically just vehicles for ads.
The 5 identical apps I've found are:
Starglobe (Azurcoding), Sky Walk (Vimal Bhanvadiya), Star Discovery (Ujjawal Wadekar), NightSky Exploration (Ujjawal Wadekar), Stars & Constellations (Divya Mishra).
I don't know why this junk is allowed in StarDiscovery Store.

StarDiscovery has great potential, if it would just work. App freezes right after the first pop-up ad. Let me know when your app is finished/ready & I'll check it out again.

StarDiscovery is pointless. There is an add that blocks every possible function. Put the add anywhere except over the only buttons that allow anyone to do anything

If you're looking for an alternative to the now dysfunctional StarWalk, keep looking. The compass is inaccurate and unrelated ads continually pop up on the screen. I wish I could be reimbursed for this travesty.

StarDiscovery was awesome until long ads kept coming about things no one cares about and it won't go away u have to watch the whole thing

The apps work okay but the ads cover the navigation and earth mode buttons making StarDiscovery almost unusable.

I try to open it up, but every time I try to it just is black and then it quits out. If you could fix that then that would be great!

Too many video ads to have to bear through to actually use StarDiscovery . Some not appropriate for kids (who were using app).

Don't buy. You pay money to not have pop ups. Pop ups are right in middle of screen. Can't get rid of them.

I got StarDiscovery hoping to see other object in the sky besides stars and planets, I have a better app which can show me more than that. Don't waste your money just go and purchase Star Rover by EEFan Inc.

My son and I have enjoyed StarDiscovery for months, but all of the sudden it has frozen and the ad on it cannot be cancelled. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling it, but it hasn't fixed the problem. This is a great app otherwise... Help!!!

I like researching the constellations and that sort of thing. StarDiscovery makes it so easy.
