My cousin sent me a taxi through this app the driver showed up within 1 min. Upon arrival he tells me NO ENGLISH! And shows me the gps destination I tell him ok and yes. We get near and he’s still few blocks away and it’s wet and raining out lightly and he says no more pay now!! Starts to demand mo... Show more ney I told him it’s been paid through the app and to call my cousins number that’s on the app he refuses and signals that he can’t call anyone through the app and the whole time keeps the meter running. Then he drives off with me to the Main Street stops in front of Naz Hotel and I ole with him to let me go out and find someone who can translate he agrees. I found 2 people who speak English and both refused to help. Eventually one employee from the hotel gives me the wifi so I called my cousins and they came within 8 mins just as the police came. In the end we were forced to pay this CROOK 100 when it was only meant to be 79 and we were away from our destination.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS APP DRIVERS WILL SCAM YOU!!! THEY’LL ACT STUPID TAKE WRONG ROUTES ANYTHING THEY CAN DO TO SCAM YOU!! DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!

There is not much difference between this app or the process which should be somehow (regulated)
Drivers STILL do not turn in the meter sometimes. Or they do charge you MORE even if the meter says a number. They want more ! They don’t give change back unless you ask( I always give more as a tip... Show more ). And the worst part they still Drivers have the choice to take you or not! They asked me where I’m going to and they say they can’t? I was at mall if istanbul and all taxis asks for 150 instead of the 45-55 I always pay for the same pick up. Drop off location. If you at a tourist attraction point they will NOT come. Because they know they can find a tourist who will agree to their added price !!
Many times the meter starts more than what is suppose to start. The opening rate should be 5.5 lira. Many times they have it at 8-9 lira !!

The app worked once but hasn’t worked on mine or my wife’s phones to run the payment. We have to pay the drivers directly.
When it first happened we already left the cab because we thought it was paid so they kept calling us asking us to pay but it wouldn’t work. We called our bank and they sai... Show more d it’s the merchants end that’s not working. In the end we had to depend on locals to translate over the phone, get a hold of the driver, get the drivers bank info, and they paid them directly then we paid the locals cash. It didn’t update on the app so we can’t even use it because it says we still owe, but they did stop calling so I guess they know we paid. I use the app on my phone since my wife’s is the one that got disabled for non payment.
