Manga Meow Reviews

I really enjoy MangaMeow. It looks and feels nice, clean, and organized. I'm only having a couple issues, and I hope they'll be fixed sometime soon. One issue I'm having are ads popping up -- after I've purchased MangaMeow , so I'm constantly restoring my purchase (the ads are tiny banners and aren't that invasive, so I can easily overlook them for the time being). The second issue I'm having is missing pages. This only seems to happen if I use a source other than Manga Inn (MangaMeow 's default source and the source that's a little bit behind in chapters than other sources).

So because of those two issues, I'm currently giving it four stars; otherwise I'd give five. I'm giving the developers the benefit of the doubt and hoping for an update even though it's been a couple months since their last one, but that does seem to be their M.O.

At a certain point, I had to resort to using other very similar applications to this one due to its issues with my iPod touch on the older update, as well as I believe server-wide issues with MangaMeow itself, not allowing me to view the sources, or the content that I like to read. This update fixes ALL of the issues that I had, as well as making MangaMeow faster than ever! Quick Solution, with one update, you single-handedly returned my favorite reader app to its prime, and main app to use for viewing content, without the white-listing of certain titles, or restrictions that the others apply.

It's a great app. You can download all the chapters of a manga you're looking for to read, even though you're only allowed up to three manga unless you pay for the full version. Doesn't bother me too much and isn't the reason why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 star rating.

The problems that I've been having with MangaMeow are that when I tried to download all the chapters of one manga, only two of them failed. I tried to re-download them, but they still wouldn't download. Also, it says in the description that it downloads fast, but it doesn't feel like it to me. At least as long as I download one chapter at a time, it does seem to download a lot faster than trying to download all the chapters at once.

Okay. Let's get this straight. THIS IS AN AMAZING APP PERIOD. There are many different sources you can get your manga from and yeah! Although, if you don't have the full version, you're only allowed to download 3 different mangas, have 3 different mangas in your favs and 3 bookmarks.

Now the reason why I give this a 4 star is because of the downloading process. I recently was downloading 25 chapters to this book and 2 of then failed. I tried re-downloading them but they still fail. This problem really bothers me, but maybe not for others. So to wrap it all up, once you download something and it fails, it'll just keep failing!

I hope that they fix this problem but overall, there's nothing really wrong with it!

If you get MangaMeow as it is, turn off MangaReader manga in the search options. None of them work, and the developers need to fix that. I have never gotten a manga from that source to come through as manga instead of a blank box.

Otherwise, MangaMeow is really good about title variety. I found titles I couldn't on previous apps (ex: MangaStorm didn't have Inuyasha) , and it's a good interface. But searching for manga can make it crash at times, and to use it best, you have to make an in app purchase. Worth it, in my opinion. Other than manga reader never working and he occasional crash in searching (which rarely happens for me), I haven't been disappointed.

1- its too slow when searching for manga it could take whole day to show search result, which is really annoying.

2- when switch for another manga source or turn of some genres of manga it also takes time. And when u filter your manga search it doesn't save it as default . u have to filter ur manga search every time u lunch MangaMeow. Stupid App.

3- It doesn't have notification features , especially when new chapter realist!

/Had this on the iphone/ I saw MangaMeow had pretty good reviews and wanted to see if this would possible become my new source for manga but I guess not. Not right now anyway. I do love the way MangaMeow is designed, very clean and smooth. No problem loading the /chapters/ for me. And I love that you can choose up to 4 sources at a time. BUT what disappointed me was how terribly long it takes to load the library and then, half the images are "unavailable". Also, the status for a lot of these mangas are wrong??

Overall, I guess my only complaint is the loading since I like to be able to see the manga covers. Adding the batoto(en) source wouldn't be bad either.

Manga Meow is my favorite app for reading manga. It is aesthetically pleasing, well organized, and provides a wealth of content. However, I really wish there was a way to organize the manga in the favorites and library sections. At least alphabetizing them would be helpful. Also, I know there has been a new chapter released for one of my favorited mangas and yet it does not show up on Manga Meow. I ended up having to read it in my browser. Frustrating! Oh well, all in all this is a wonderful app. I just wish those couple things could be improved.

I had MangaMeow since last year and the moment I used it, I bought it right away and it was the best decision I've ever made. It's a reasonable price for the whole package! It also have a GREAT selection of mangas that aren't "mainstream." I read a whole lot from the ones from the get go to the most known ones. It updates pretty fast and also downloads the chapter quickly! I can't complain about MangaMeow because it has everything a manga enthusiast ever needs and it's MangaMeow!

EDIT: Was my location. Got home and all manga loads fine. Seemed a bit wonky with cellular data, but then again, I was traveling internationally. Both this and Manga Rock are great.

It might just be my location, but no chapters will load. I can see all the manga, but can't read any of them. If I click on one no chapters appear. I can only read what's in my library. If this gets fixed it'll be back to 5 stars, but then again, it might be my location.

Everything is great, but there are some problems. One is with search. You search something and it scrolls down and it kinda annoying. Or it won't search and you have to type it in again. Second is when I'm reading manga. I was reading a manga and when you scroll to go to the next chapter it will sometimes you give you a different manga chapter. Like I was reading Rere Hello ch 4, and when I went to the next chapter, it gave me L-DK ch 6. So, those are my major problems... Please fix them >.<

Hi. I'm 10, and I love manga! This is seriously the best app ever! Every time I want to read an manga, I go here! It is faster than other websites like Mangahere, Mangafox, and etc. This is seriously the best app on my iPad. We could download so much! Instead of 5 chapters, it's all the chapters! This is different from other apps.

When I download, it usually fails, and I have full internet. I would like you to remove the fail when you download.

But over all, it's an amazing app! My favorite app on iPad!

MangaMeow is honestly my favorite of the other manga apps for iPhone. I've gone through a few. Another plus is that it has a cute set up: soft color ( most I've seen are black/white), and the book case. 😍😍
Edit: Since the recent update it freezes and shuts down more often. The manga fails more frequently too.
Update: It's so much faster! The only thing I'm disliking is the ad on the bottom of the manga 😤 it takes up space, I keep accidentally hitting it, & it shoots me off the page

I have been using Manga Meow for a long time but recently it has been showing some errors/bugs. For example, when I try to download more chapters of a manga a pop up tells me that I can only have three series in my library. I already had less than three series but I went to my library and deleted all of them and went back to try and download the chapters again but it still didn't work! Please fix this problem. I want to be able to read on the go.

I know the reviews are not much, but I tried most manga apps with lots of reviews, but so far this is the best manga app ever. It's so easy to use. I totally recommend you use MangaMeow!! No kidding guys, im a no-no for complicated things. MangaMeow met my expectations. Some of the reviews says it doesn't work but maybe it's their phone or ipad which is not working properly because that never happened to me before. Been using this for a month now.
