A few times I park, get on Whoosh only to show the kiosk I'll be dealing with is several streets away when there is one only 3 cars away. This has happened to friends and they've received tickets since the close by kiosk wasn't the one "assigned" to their car. Fortunately, they successfully fought the tickets since their this app history showed they had purchased time. Company who owns this app needs to work with the manufacturer of the kiosks to fine tune their location device. Other than that, I have had no problem with Whoosh and prefer it over the credit card/kiosk usage.

There’s a couple of simple adjustments that would make Whoosh great. Number one on my list is transferring a ticket to a different location (NOT A REFUND). I accidentally overpaid at one location, and need to park somewhere else to get to my next class. I’ll have to pay an extra $5 when I could just tell Whoosh I’m moving my car. Just a thought! I don’t know how difficult that would be to accomplish, but it would be amazingly helpful.

I use Whoosh at least 2-3 times a week to pay for parking. It always worked great until suddenly after the app update where Apple Pay was added, sometime around July 21, 2018 Whoosh stopped accepting any of my payment cards including Apple Pay. This renders Whoosh unusable. I emailed customer service a week ago and have yet to get a response.

If the payments worked I’d give Whoosh 4 stars ( wish you didn’t have to search a map to input location. )

I began using Whoosh 3 months ago, since then I have had better luck setting my own reminders via email or an alarm to address the meter. I have “updated” Whoosh 3 or 4 times, with each time less functionality! I sit with several other colleagues who have the exact same complaint. As a result, I frequently overlap my time paid and this double-pay for the same spot, just to ensure that I do not have a lapses what would cost me a ticket! Sad, sad shame!

After downloading this 100mb monstrosity over your mobile data network (you’re sitting in your car while doing this, right?), you have to sign up AND register your car and then maybe you’ll be able to select your parking space to pay for it. My parking spot had the this app! sticker but it didn’t show up in Whoosh . It’s about as convenient as going to the post office and mailing a check to pay for parking.

The last two times I tried to use Whoosh I always got errors while my credit card got charged. The last time I got a ticket although Whoosh isn’t showing my transaction in history but I still got charged.
Their support is terrible and won’t respond to emails. When I called up they said they don’t have logs to check the issue and I should call them real-time. It’s only been 3 days since I got the error. What crap app doesn’t have logs? They don’t stand by their product.

I love the convince and I need to use it when I am in class and Cant move my car every 2 hours. BUT On more than one occasion I have received a hefty parking ticket because I thought I was all set after using Whoosh to pay the meter. 2 hours later I realize I missed the last step...why is there a confirm and then purchase prompt. I confirmed it, I would like to pay $2 to park my car on the street and I confirm that I do not want a $30 parking ticket. Please update your app.

They should call Whoosh “Screw it, I’ll just find some coins”. Overpriced “convenience” fee, time consuming sign ins and updates. And their payment interface is garbage. No Apple Pay, no PayPal? Can’t even use the camera to capture a credit card. These are years old technologies. Why make me update your app constantly if you’re not even adding basic features. Any city using this service should be embarrassed

Whoosh had never remembered my login information (despite checking “remember me” each time), so I was excited when, for once, it logged me in automatically!

Well, then I would get all the way to the payment section and it would say “Whoops! Something went wrong.”

It now says this every. Single. Time.

So I go to the this app! kiosk to pay for my parking there— it remains stuck on the “processing” screen for a long time before saying “cancelled.” I have to try 3 times before it is accepted at the kiosk. I’ve never had this problem with other parking apps.

The lots that use this app! are closest to my classes, but I now park further away just to use ParkMobile instead of this app. Please either fix Whoosh or the kiosks (preferably both).

Using Whoosh is convenient. However, I wish the parking time was hourly. Most of the time I never park for more than one hour, but I am forced to pay for two hours. It’s made me start to plan ahead for change for the meters so I don’t have to pay for an excessive amount of time not being used.

I downloaded Whoosh in hopes that it would make knowing where to park easier. It doesn’t. I have to sign in each time I open Whoosh . That’s annoying in and of itself. The meters are more updated and take credit cards themselves. I only want to park a couple of times a month, Whoosh takes more work than is necessary to pay and so I don’t use it.

I emailed them a while ago saying that every time I reopen Whoosh I’m logged out of my account (which is through Facebook). Nothing at all has happened and it’s an annoying thing i deal with daily in Whoosh . Really wish it would get fixed.

I have used Whoosh for a couple of months now and they fail on many levels; cost, app performance/user interface and most importantly customer service. I sent two messages to customer service and after four days never hear back. If they were only as quick to solve your issues as they are to charge your credit card.

I have never got a parking ticket in my life until I tried the this app app for the first time, bought a 2 hour ticket came back 1:40 mins after and found a parking citation on my boat ! I both called and email this app customer service and got no repose for over 10 days ! And still have not heard from them. Had to go to court and fight ticket. If this is how they treat all their customer then I would assume they have none !!

Whoosh doesn’t give you the option to pay for the exact time you want. I use Whoosh to pay for parking when I can’t find parking in the commuter parking garage. Some of my classes are an hour and fifteen minutes as opposed to an hour. However Whoosh only gives me the option to pay by hours. I would like to be able to pay with shorter increments of time.
