Seems like a dumb oversight. Bad UX all around. Literally the only reason I need Busbud is to view my tickets and can’t even do that. Makes me wonder if the majority of these reviews are fake

My 1st time I used this app was tonight. I’m in Mexico backpacking so I had to take a overnight bus. They sold me a ticket for a bus that didn’t exist! And almost ruined my trip. Luckily the people who worked there understood how nervous and worried I was and fixed the issue by getting me on the next bus. I can’t tell you how scaring it is to be in a different country where you don’t really understand the language and have ticket errors! I would love if this app contacted me about this. Because I hope no backpacker ever has to deal with this. That was terrible. Not only did I almost get scammed by this app. I would of not made my hostel for the night.

Do NOT use this app for any bus fair bookings! I have been scammed through their platform and they refuse to accept accountability or responsibility. My bus never arrived at the location I was given. I had to arrange and fund alternate transportation last minute. When I asked for a refund, this app said they couldn’t help and provided contact info, only for this 1800 number to be a sex hotline! 😡 this bus line is a complete scam and this app is allowing them to prey on their users!!! I would give zero stars if I could!! Please save yourself the trouble and money and choose a different platform for bus ride bookings!

I used Busbud to book bus tickets for me and my large group of 10. We showed up to our bus terminal to be told that our bus had been cancelled. this app sent me no notification of the cancellation / did not help me reschedule. I had to scramble to fix the issue with another bus service. I have contacted this app several times regarding this issue and they have still not gotten back to me. They also do not have a phone number to call.

They are like Expedia and if your ticket is processed wrong you cannot change or refund. Better to use the real service in case you have a computer error on their side.

I saw a review from another person stating Busbud had messed up their departure city. I chalked it up to user error and decided to book with this app because the pricing was significantly better. Twice it attempted to default my purchase to a different time than I wanted. I swear I selected my departure time VERY carefully, paid for my tickets and felt good. I went back to double check my reservation and view the e-ticket and it was back at the time I didn’t want! I ended up going through Amtrak to fix the issue and ended up paying extra to have the correct departure time. I should have just booked with Amtrak from the beginning.

I would suggest that you make the Syracuse Airport a must stop specifically because of the military service members.
Just a stop and go is worth it!May be a courtesy call into the Military louche where traveling service members wait for transportation is worth it.
Please give a benefit to those who are not able to book online to pay on the spot to the driver on the go!

Busbud never displays routes for me while the website does, I can also put a student discount on the website. Great service terrible app. Also wondering if they will introduce military discount as Amtrak provides it on their website aswell.

I’ve used Busbud 3 times, and 2 of those times it booked the incorrect time. This was in Mexico. Although Busbud would say the ticket was for 4:30, when I got to the station there was confusion and I was told the ticket was actually for 5:30. This happened twice now on separate occasions. The second time I was lucky that there were still open seats on the intended ride.

After entering credit card payment add confirmation prompt that this is for a ticket from to and date.

I downloaded Busbud before a certain person worked on it. When he joined the company Busbud got so much better. And his name is Nathaniel. He deserves to own Busbud . He has so much commitment. For example he is always thinking about how can I make Busbud better? That is such a good mindset and he is a inspiration to all. He also has the best first cousin in the world. Easy to review

I am an American living in Brasil and Busbud is so easy to use. Now I’m traveling all over Brasil.

Busbud made it easy for me to book a bus ticket from San Miguel de Allende to Mexico City. I was even able to select my seat. From Houston, Texas.

Busbud makes it so easy to book your own travel in a foreign country. Kudos to this app for making it fun to plan!

Once I started using this app, getting around Mexico became so much easier. The individual apps for each bus company, and their respective websites are not reliable. Thank you bus bud!!
