It’s almost impossible to get through an entire game without somehow earning a forfeit. An incoming call or text message will abruptly end a game - assuming you’ve actually managed to connect. Inviting friends to play is an exercise requiring utmost patience and perseverance because 50% of the time it doesn’t connect. Really enjoy playing the games - it’s a great way to stay connected to people especially now - but the frustration is extreme given the instability of TheCheckers . More work on the technical end please to fix the numerous bugs!!

Every time 5 figures are taken the program crashes. Not repaired in 5 years in spite of repeated complaints.! This I wrote I believe several years ago and nothing has been done about it; frustrating since it’s very rare to beat five! Now it’s more like six years that this has not been addressed.

Good game, but I have been asking for 3 years to correct a glitch: when taking 4 pieces the program sometimes stops the 4th move and when taking 5 it ALWAYS crashes. Also, it always forces one to take the larger number of opponent’s pieces whenever there is a choice which is not the Internationational rule. I contacted the programmers several times without success.
This is the fourth time I’m writing about the problem with no results. The program crashes when 5 pieces are taken every time!
And the rules don’t force one to choose taking the larger amount of pieces if there is a chive. Never got an answer from you about it! And years later the same problem remains unresolved ! Ridiculous!!!

So the reason why I called this stupid computer is because whatever I play on one person the computer they always win. It’s so highly advance even on easy mode so I never get any wins. I only went onto two person, but I still don’t get any awards for that only one award I got for playing with human versus human, but this is a good game not that much I like playing with with my friends because I do cook them a lot, like I’m so good at the game but with the stupid computer

Nice game. Various options as far as styles. I have been playing it every day. I wish it had certain options when customized, such as undo, the option not to jump two checkers, and others. I play to amuse myself, not to play with others. And I’m sure I’m not alone on this.

There is no way to undo a move, at least that I have found. Also, there should be red colored checkers. And is there a way to stop that constant motion of the checkers bouncing up and down? These are the reasons I would not purchase the premium version of TheCheckers.

It’s rather weak, but hard mode in straight checkers is challenging enough that I need to pay attention. It is beatable but tough enough to be worth while to spend time playing. There is no pool checkers option but the rules are customizable so pool checkers can be played by modifying the Spanish rules a bit.

Very good application, very interesting game, but four stars for now. Include an undo move button. This is because sometimes by just touching a piece you accidentally move to where you were not supposed to move. And then you end up losing in the game in the process.

I don’t mind a brief add or two but these long duration, forced to watch, ads give cause for me to exit play for another day. If we as users tolerate such they will keep throwing them at us. So I encourage all to show them these are not profitable by exiting with me and encourage others to do the same. If their stats show these ads are not watched they will stop selling them. We have the power to stop the madness. Players UNITE!!!!!

Lots of fun. Hard difficulty level is very challenging. I’ve tried a few checkers games and keep coming back to this one. The look of the game and the way it plays is great. There is no take back or undo button but that’s part of the fun!

I loved playing checkers as a child and learned a trick or two on how to beat the opponent 100%. But not with this computerized game of checkers. They REALLY make you think hard , which is a great way of strengthening our brain. They also give you an option to chose your color and style of checker. I like the graphics as well. Great game people. Give it a try!

Very solid app, simple and straightforward which seems perfectly appropriate for a checkers game. I like the way ads are managed -- ads are not intrusive, always in the same format, and are easy to quickly dismiss if I am uninterested. Want checkers? I highly recommend TheCheckers!

Played TheCheckers for so many years. 2 things: 1: I can never find an online opponent. Never. Not once. Are there just not a lot of people using TheCheckers? 2: every time I’ve captured 5 pieces the game crashes. Why? Otherwise like TheCheckers !

I had this application and I had to uninstall it because it did not work well and when I reinstalled it it was no longer at the same level and I bought the one with no ads and now it won't give it to me again, if I already paid them, don't even lower it is the worst application.

This is the first game I’ve played that has allowed me to play the rules I am used to playing. The ads aren’t bad but I paid to have them removed because I like what the developer has done. My only recommendation is to allow people to agree on rules when playing online. Seems like I can’t choose to play against people with the same rule set I am used to.

my grandson just recently challenged me to a game for $100. Don’t have the heart to tell him I have only lost one on my 73 years And I was sick that time . Now practing with the I pad is great fun & skill improvement. So good luck Christian.

Best time never keeps always showing fastest time for each game played. And also never able to get online game to work

One game that lets me win most of the time, maybe will get bored later. Easy most of the time. They are starting to do dumb moves. They are crazy, will do anything to win!

This game keeps freezing, so I am unable to play more than a few games at a time. I have to reboot my iPad in order to continue playing this game. Also, this game is supposed to allow us to engage in online games, yet this action is impossible to complete. The game just goes into a circular mode, where I must — yep — reboot to get back to the game!

this game its really great, it allows you to play with the same rules you play at home. I just wish you could play online with real players, theres an option but no one seems to be playing online:(
