The lite version is nothing. If you have a router with an app, you have all the info that this app provides. If you have a phone (which you do; obviously) you have 90% of the info this app provides. For this app to have access to and be able to share all your network connection info just to ping a site is criminal or Law enforcement. Either way, no 🙏🏿
If you’re looking to put in a web address and receive an IP address, the PIng app will work fine and you won’t have to share your personal info.

This App doesn't do much except compromise your Personal Privacy. The App is in-bed with both Google & Microsoft (at least). If you don't mind giving your whereabouts and Ad Tracking away to Googs & MS, then have-at-it. Otherwise, don't bother as this App doesn't give you much info you probably don't already know. (I wanted to analyze wifi channels, but could not use this tool -so the smidgeon of data this App gives a user isn't worth the opportunity cost, imho). Good luck to Dev., this simply is not the App for me (nothing personal, u gotta make a buck). eff

I get that this app is free, I didn’t have to purchase it, but it’s also useless in any practice sense. I guess I can see how many devices are using my network but that’s all it does. The info section used to have an archive with short articles about network security, and troubleshooting topics, but those have disappeared. Considering the fact that “free” actually means “in exchange for unmitigated access to my data” and privacy policy’s that are nonsensical and almost impossible to enforce I would keep looking for an app that offers a service of value for an upfront price.
