Iโve used this app for several years, paid for Pro, and found it to be excellent, until a recent upgrade that totally broke the spectrum analyzer aspect of it on both my iPhone 6s and iPad Air.
The problem is related to mic sensitivity, it will register the very loudest of sounds. It may have to do with mic calibration or something, but I complained about it some time ago and nothing has been done.
Iโm looking at other apps that actually work.

For the pro version it cost $8.99. It might be worth it if you could hear it but you cannot hear anything I went to analyze something and listen to the play back and you can hear nothing not nothing. How can you know what it analyzed if you cannot hear it play back? It could just be sitting there rolling numbers your direction? If you use any analyzer on your PC or desktop you can hear it why can you not hear this one? So thank you for ripping me off of nine dollars!

Unsure if there is a timed interval of the pop up advertisement to purchase the โProโ version or if it is based on how many times you touch something in the app, but it gets very frustrating trying to adjust a complex audio system, while constantly being asked if would like to buy the pro version, which runs $8.99. Annoyances aside, the frequencies being gathered (by 3 additional Apple products, 4 total) seem to be less accurate than they should be. Adjusting 250hz on my head unitโs EQ effected the 125hz bar on the graph in the app. Actively looking for another app that can be more successful.
