Just curious, are guys (Huntstand morons) really this dumb? I complained already several weeks ago, but have you looked at your recent reviews? It’s looking pretty unanimous that nobody likes your app, and everybody wants the old app back. Considering how badly you screwed up something good like this app, and considering your timing of this said screw up which was during pre rut, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that you haven’t acknowledged your customers and there requests. It’s just hard to believe that there are really individuals like yourselves, that are truthfully this stupid. I guess all we can do, as the customers, is pray you haven’t already reproduced so your bloodline ends without more innocent people having to deal with your level of dumb.

Sooo anyways, why cant you have your dumb huntstand app and keep this app separate? Listen to your customers. Business says customers are never wrong. Pretty sure if you read ScoutLook store reviews, you’ll see this to be true. If you need interpretation of the reviews due to your stupidity, please let me know and I’ll gladly do my best to explain it, but as dumb as you are, you might just be too far gone. Time will tell I guess, but maybe, just maybe, you would/could gather your group of morons together, and change ScoutLook back to the original this app like people have been telling you to do.

ScoutLook is useless without cellphone data or reception. I have the upgraded version and it is a waste of money. I had used in two hunts and on one 10 mile scouting trek and these are the results. On the first hunt it did not saved my entire Scoutrex luckily I stayed in a marked trail and was able to return without any issues. Also when your cell losses the signal the map cannot be moved nor zoom in or out . You can only save spots if you have cell signal. During the scouting trek I used the satellite and topo map to navigate and find spots. I realized the images are out of date and the images that I was using were at least a year old or during a very dry year. The satellite showed dry areas and in reality’s I was walking toward a swamp. Also the recording from the scouting trek was saved but when I reviewed the trek it was saved in the middle of the by Africa. Go figure! . During my scouting trek I also used a hiking trail as a back up and was able to return to the main road. It reads the gps signal very strong but again I warn you if you loose phone signal ScoutLook is worthless. This is the first negative review ever written by me. I don’t really care for a refund but I will not recommend ScoutLook to any of my hunting buddies . Unless the maps are updated regularly and you are able to save data, waypoints, photos, etc... without the need of cell service I won’t re-review ScoutLook . I apologize if I sound negative but just want to give an honest review.

Tried the 7 day free trial to use the property lines feature, turns out it doesn’t work. I tapped on my property and it showed information for a completely different property in another county. I zoomed out and found the property it selected, about 40 Miles to the North. I tapped my property again and the same thing happened, but this time it was a different property very far away. Tried a few more times and got the same result. Very disappointed. The rest of the features aren’t bad though

I love using ScoutLook for hunting but when it comes to property info, it’s basically useless! My grandfather sold 200 acres about 6 years Ago and it still has his name on it. There are countless property’s I’ve found that are just so outdated. It really makes it hard if you want to go ask for permission to hunt a property or really anything, the actual property lines are
Extremely accurate though.

If you use it, it will crash constantly. Try adding a pic, crash. Try reviewing stand details...crash.

One huge feature missing is the ability to see/list all stands where the wind direction is favorable based on the date/time. Currently, you have to click on each stand individually and select the date/time to see if it’s favorable.

Update: the developer released an update that fixed the crashing problem so moving to 4 stars. If multiple stands would highlight based on wind, I would go for 5 stars.

This is a great app for those that scout any time they get. Nothing is easier than walking in to find sign and being able to save the location within seconds. I’m a firm believer in hunting pinch points for whitetail deer but some produce more than others in different years. ScoutLook allows me to make notes on which ones are producing each year.

First I love ScoutLook !!!
One thing I’d like to see is when u rotate the map with your fingers I wish there was an icon that maintained north to south, east to west & was easily identifiable.
Also, the images of the map are way out of date. We have 19,000 acres and it now way looks the way it does in this current map. It looks years old. We do a lot of logging year to year and have several clear cuts that are not imaged here. Also to tell what is now current CRP fields.
Also wish the scent cone didn’t disappear every time u touched the map to enlarge or back away.

At first I was very disappointed in the forced upgrade. I sent in a few complaints and suggestions via email and did get one reply.
It didn't satisfy my concerns but shortly thereafter they had a few updates. Now it is working much better and have recommend to several friends.
After several updates, I enjoy using ScoutLook to check weather forecasts and wind direction. New Aerial photos are great too. Other club members always ask me what’s the wind/weather look like today.

I’ve been using this app for about five years now after working with two professional full time hunting and fishing guides, NY & AK. The guides used it to scout stand locations using the scent cone. I’m now using the paid version with property lines. I’ve used the scent cone future and have seen a lot more deer. When I started hunting I used to carry a single topo of the area in a handmade waterproof cover. Now I carry this app. Absolutely incredible technology at my fingertips.

Great app for a great price. I only buy the package that shows property lines during hunting season. Very fair priced for all the tools it offers. Another great perk and most useful for me was being able to make markers in certain locations and I was able to customize the markers to distinguish it from others. For instance there could be a good tree for climbing that I would mark or a heavy trail, fresh and commonly used scrapes, bedding areas, etc.

I wrote a bad review recently. Retracting that now. I’ve loved ScoutLook for years but it had stopped working. I read support FAQ that said to uninstall and reinstall. It works great again. Love ScoutLook!!!
Prior review: Since I updated my iOS to 12.1 ScoutLook no longer works, even though they claim to have released an upgrade to be compatible. Please fix and I’ll go back to loving ScoutLook and I’ll write a positive review.

I've been a user for several years and have become somewhat dependent on it at times. I joined a huge new hunting lease this deer season with over 40 camp stands. In about two days I was able to save all the stand locations and using the ScoutTreX feature I can navigate my way around flawlessly. A built in compass would be a sweet upgrade but other than that it's perfect for me.

this app hunting works great and quite dependable for weather and wind information if you are in good cell service. It is advertised that you can share hunting sites and data with people that are also on the SH application. Under tutorial there are no instructions on how to accomplish this transfer. It would be nice to be able to print a copy of a hunting area with stands and locations.

If you understand the function of this tool , And try this for six weeks, you will truly be amazed at how & what you have been missing, and I really do not have the time to get the full scope Of ScoutLook or tool for hunting ,scouting ,hiking, or just marking lines on property, very very amazing, you’ll never be this oriented again.

this app is the easiest hunting app to use. I’m really mad that they are converting to hunt stand which in my opinion is worthless. Other then showing property lines HuntStand does nothing for me as a hunter. this app shows me wind direction, barometric pressure and general weather for the next week of hunting. I would pay to keep this app.
