Weather should not lie

TheWeatherForecastApp is rip off. Unlock 16 weather report free. Baloney free. It’s free 3 days then it is $3.99 a week. It is more expensive than Netflix. I wonder how many elderly people are paying and don’t even know it. I know one the person who recommended to me. They thought it was free because that’s what TheWeatherForecastApp makes you think and why wouldn’t you. How accurate is a 16 day weather report. For the love of god one night I was driving in my car and the weather on the radio and said clear sky’s tonight. I was driving in a blizzard I called up the radio station and told them tell your weather person to look out the window.
Next thing I heard was a special report on the blizzard. I should of charged them $3.99.
My forecast was at least accurate.
Don’t waste your money there are plenty of free apps that can give wrong weather reports.
Weather Channel shame on you I expected better I guess shame on me for trusting you

Not what I was looking for but may serve your needs

I honestly was just looking to purchase an app that uses radar to help me travel but TheWeatherForecastApp is clunky and extremely slow. So say if I’m looking at my current location for the radar and I scroll 100 miles East - It’s so slow to bring it up that you refresh TheWeatherForecastApp again and start from scratch. Now maybe there is something in the back end that I don’t understand that limits the speed of TheWeatherForecastApp because it uses satellite communication and there isn’t a way around this so if that’s the case, then I apologize. If you plan on using TheWeatherForecastApp for only your current location only, it’s great. Seriously get TheWeatherForecastApp but this isn’t for me.

App weather report not free as indicate

I agree! Telling us to check the weather conditions, for free; then. saying we can’t , bc we aren’t on TheWeatherForecastApp , is a rip-off. There’s no reason why you can’t provide weather warnings, etc. for free. It can be accentuated as a possible lifesaving thing for people who aren’t near a tv in case of emergency. For once, have a heart, and put it on Google.

3-day trial only; not intended for free use.

Nothing personal against the designers of great apps (and this may well be one; I will never know). I get it: talented folks deserve to be compensated for their expertise and hard efforts. I search for and purchase the best I can test in a "lite" &/or" advertising-added trial version.

But when purchasing food for my family, clothes for my closet or technology for personal use, I prefer first to touch it, try it on and check it out before opening my wallet. ANY app designed to compel a buy-it-first purchase to enjoy a cancellable "free trial" earns an immediate delete from me.

Frankly it saddens me that so much the engineering brainpower is wasted on designing gated menus that lead a potential customer directly back to TheWeatherForecastApp store to finalize their subscription purchase. To me, this mimics the worst practices (and mirrors the company priorities) of a magazine subscription service.

I do wish Apple would create a filter allowing users to exclude from the store search apps like this one--only "free" on a technicality, designed to force exchange of privacy for an opportunity to test a product. Thanks; but NO THANKS.

This is a sneaky app

I was asked if I wanted to download a weather app. I said sure. All of a sudden I’m being signed up for a trial that automatically turns into a chargeable app. Normally those kind of sneaky apps give you between 14 and 39 days before they start charging you. I found out TheWeatherForecastApp gives you 4 days. On top of that it picked a level to charge me. $3.99 every two weeks. That level charge was middle of the road. Some were less some were more. I was just lucky to have stumbled upon this information and was able to cancel the trial. Thank goodness. So please be aware before you sign up as to what TheWeatherForecastApp is all about. In my opinion it’s not worth $3.99 every two weeks.

Horrible app

I only downloaded TheWeatherForecastApp to leave a review about the annoying flashing red add banner that repeatedly pops up for TheWeatherForecastApp every time I try to read an article on the OAN app. It will not go away no matter how many times I report it and it’s horribly annoying!!!! Then I get TheWeatherForecastApp and you can’t even use it without a paid subscription. Apple store apps are an embarrassing money grab, everything has a weekly or monthly fee. I couldn’t even begin to tell you what TheWeatherForecastApp does because I refuse to pay a subscription fee so nothing works. And the annoying flashing red ad is now on other apps. TheWeatherForecastApp should be fined for ruining other apps with it’s adds!!!

Complete scam

I downloaded TheWeatherForecastApp once and next thing you know I see a charge on iTunes for a “free trial” subscription. Absolutely shocked at being charged for a “free trial”, TheWeatherForecastApp is such a scam it’s honestly funny. Again, I never agreed to pay for anything. Trust me now and just do not bother downloading TheWeatherForecastApp. TheWeatherForecastApp ’s designed in a way to trick you into signing up for a subscription and profiting on as many people who accidentally pay the subscription fee every time. Tried to go to iTunes for a refund but of course the service always malfunctions when I need to get a refund lol. Anyways just don’t bother getting TheWeatherForecastApp unless you wanna waste money

Can’t Evaluate the App

I downloaded TheWeatherForecastApp to try out the free version before making a purchase. However, the ads pop up so frequently, I can’t test drive TheWeatherForecastApp to see if I like it. When you open TheWeatherForecastApp and try to explore the features, you might have 3 whole seconds before they throwing up up the “Purchase me now” screens. Seems like they’re afraid of letting you do a timely and fair evaluation of TheWeatherForecastApp before trying to grab your money. If they weren’t so unreasonable with the buy me nag screens, I probably would have bought it. Got frustrated with the nag screens, deleted TheWeatherForecastApp , and moved on to the next app. :/

First time user

It is my first time using TheWeatherForecastApp, but it looks great: temperature displayed, weather images reflecting the actual weather.
From my bed I see the weather as if I was already outside.
This helps how I plan my day, what clothes to put or not put on, whether I can take a bus or get a ride, etccccc

By

Elegant interface, steep subscription.

Beautiful interface, but folks, $3.99 per week (+tax) is a bit steep when there are so many alternative apps available either free or with annual subscriptions that cost the same as this one does each month. Trying to use it in ‘free’ mode results in as many ads scattered throughout the main page as weather related information, and you’re constantly reminded to buy the weekly subscription. No thanks. I get free enterprise, and I get that having a choice means I can just delete this and move on, but the latest trend in subscription software is getting very annoying.

Why

Why have a app that we have to be paying especially for the weather when we can’t even afford mainly anything right now with everything that’s going on. It is a weather channel that we could use to keep safe from anything that is coming are way but we can’t use it because it charging almost for every setting so what’s the use for it if u can’t even use it without it telling u pay for I can let you use my app how dumb does that sound so without paying we would never know when a tornado will hit us or a flash flood anything

Malware-seized Safari browser until you download their app!

TheWeatherForecastApp is the first malware I have received on my iPhone. After looking at the apple weather app, the next time I tried to open my Safari browser, it would not open. Instead, this Malware app forces you to download before your apple browser is released. Horrible horrible method of promoting an app. I am furious that I now must spend my valuable time trying to fix my iPhone. I have no more appropriate words to tell you how these people should be terminated from the Apple iTunes App Store!

I know your trying to make money

You should consider turning down your ad frequency or pop up ads in areas that are hard hit by weather. It slows results to a crawl and is annoying. Turn the adds up where they are not having issues if you need to make up ground. If a snowstorm is hitting to stop inundating them with add. If Florida is getting hit by a hurricane slow down the pop ups. Me personally, I just go to a different site. Signed impatient during a crisis.

Better weather knowledge

Really informative it gives me more details on the outlook of the weather the weather alerts really come in handy so me and my family know what to prepare for I rate TheWeatherForecastApp a five star thanks from your friends the smith family

By

Informative But Premium is too Expensive

TheWeatherForecastApp is incredibly informative. You get notified automatically about the next day’s weather so you can prepare accordingly the night before. You get updated throughout the day. I would love to get the Premium features but 3.99/week is just too much. I’m not sure how the Premium features warrant almost $1,500 a year.

Weather App

I have used this Weather App for over 8 years and I was able to stay on top of the weather, as a tractor/ trailer driver OTR it’s very important to know and plan for adverse conditions at a moment notice.
Thankful for my Weather App when I needed to know it was there

Rainy Days

Rainy days are refreshing. It is a moment of reflection as the raindrops purifies the environment. The air is refreshing and reviving. It is spiritual. A rainfall is a musical symphony from heaven with each raindrop creating it’s unique note as it makes contact to earth. Honor to the Creator of the universe for the blessings that a rainy day gives. I love rainy days!

By

Weather assistant

Instant weather is a must for me because I work outside in the early morning hours and knowing what is coming at me is very important in this work environment with the weather at this time can be live threatening.

Terrible app

I hate TheWeatherForecastApp, and I’ve deleted it from my all devices out of frustration.

TheWeatherForecastApp is continually asking me to upgrade to “premium”. Becoming a premium user requires a weekly or monthly fee.

TheWeatherForecastApp , called weather forecast, will not even show the user a complete week or 10 day forecast unless the user becomes a premium member. Instead, it show 3 days of forecast with a note to unlock the further out forecast requires become a premium membership.

Almost all these weather apps get their weather data from the National Weather Service. Such data is free. The thought that a software developer would have the gall to make me pay for a weather forecast, which is freely available from other sources is ridiculous and the height of greed and arrogance.

By

Used to be good….TERRIBLE now

When TheWeatherForecastApp was called Weather Underground it was excellent. I guess The Weather Channel bought it and all the features that used to be free now cost $5.99/WEEK! It’s either that or you suffer through the most annoying ads anytime you try navigating within TheWeatherForecastApp . Want to zoom in on the weather map? NOPE! That’ll cost you $5.99/week. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t download this. It’s a total waste of time.

By

Accurate and detailed

I love TheWeatherForecastApp because I have tried almost all of weather applications on AppStore and even playstore and I found most of apps similar and even such as "copy paste" information. however if you don't need so details or everything you want is daily temperature and overall forecast you can use so many free apps that give you more information for free. So all I want to say is that the weather forecast app isn't the best free app but if you want an accurate and detailed and some professional weather app you should to pay the price and be sure that it's worth it.

By

Reliable Weather App

I’ve found this Weather App to be highly reliable for over a decade now. I’m not a big TV watcher. So, in order to keep up with current and future weather conditions, TheWeatherForecastApp has had them.

By

Zero Customer Support

I renewed my Premium subscription in September 2019 but every time I open TheWeatherForecastApp I am unable to access Premium features, like the precipitation forecast. Instead I am constantly nagged to purchase an upgrade I have already subscribed to. The contact link inside TheWeatherForecastApp is bad. ITunes subscription purchase cannot be restored from inside TheWeatherForecastApp . TheWeatherForecastApp offers good content if you can access it but hardly worth the aggravation.

Current weather is showing very heavy rain. No way, we are just coming out of Red Flag Alert

For the last three days, all 3 of my closest cities are showing “Very heavy rain”. For gosh sacks we have been in Red Flag Alert for almost a week. Temps in upper 80’s, humidity in single digits with very strong winds. Numerous wild land fire burning with many homes lost. “Very heavy rains? What a joke! Sad example of an app, much less an app that charges for all the wrong info. Never again!

By

Way too expensive

From what I can tell from the free version, TheWeatherForecastApp might be the one to work for me if it can be customized the way I want it. No free trial means I can't even see if it will work for me before shelling out $4 a WEEK or $40 for the year. The going rate for weather apps is about $10 a year, these guys really need to read the market and get competitive before I even consider subscribing to their app.

By

Meh... already one flaw right off the bat. Lacking locations!

Seriously? You don’t show Jackson, Wyoming or even smaller towns that other weather apps show details for? If I already can’t find locations, I’m not going to bother retaining TheWeatherForecastApp on my iPhone.

You definitely need to work on and fine tune TheWeatherForecastApp.

By

great app, way to expensive.

5 stars for TheWeatherForecastApp itself. 1 star for the price. the night i downloaded it i thought i finally found the one for all. day 2 it only gave 2 day forecast and asked for premium unlock and i was good with paying for a nice app until i saw the $3.99 a week. that’s $224 a year for a weather forecast that’s plentiful elsewhere. yea i might have two open a couple apps to find what i want but at that price i don’t mind. i’d be good with a one time fee of $8-$15 which is about the going rate of others or maybe $10 a year, not $200 plus.

Apps a joke

Everytime u open it. An add pops up. If u add different cities, and u decide you want to check the weather in a different city. U have to wait for the add that pops up. Finish playing. Everytime u do something on TheWeatherForecastApp. U get a pop up. Pathetic. I have two other weather apps. And neither of them have any pop ups. Delete, delete.

Great app for 2 days then force to upgade

Im outdoor 18-20hrs a day every day.
Always lookin for a close to accurate weather app and an app to give me weather predictions .
TheWeatherForecastApp started out great easy read and after 2nd day is forcing me to upgade premium or I cant see more than 2 hours later than now and cant get more than 2 days of weather predictions.
Sad MAYBE I DONT WANT TO UPGRADE

By

Love this!

This is by far my favorite weather app. Premium is 100% worth it!

By

It’s ok

I like TheWeatherForecastApp as I like anything that has to do with the weather. But I would not pay anything because there are other good ones that are free.

By

too many ads

And the ads are too long before viewing app. Too bad because the design is great

By
