Euronews Reviews

Whether Euronews is good or bad doesn’t matter because I can’t stream live TV from it beyond the EU borders. In the EU it works for streaming. Not the US (geo-blocked).
News stories on Euronews are not updated often enough and breaking news alerts I get on my iPhone are almost never mirrored on Euronews itself or added as a story in a reasonable time. Basically Euronews needs a better and more plugged in staff.

When I click any article with video it’s start playing me video from another article. Each time. AWKWARD bug!

Also1: start play video and rotate my phone- see just black screen and everything now not responsive/

Also2: during scroll annoying banner ads loads and inserts into list with jittering and awkward lagging. Feels like cheap app made by low level noobs “programmers”..

Since the last update, the link from the home page goes to a blank page. NOTHING shows up. It never completes download of text nor images - just completely blank. I uninstalled it and re-installed it and it still has the problem. Only the homepage with the previews show.

I used to love watching and and sharing the news from this organization. I now see how extremely liberal and biased euro news is. It’s soo sad that another news organization like yourself has now lowered their standards like many news Main stream media organizations around the world.

April 2018 review. this app: stop sending non urgent notifications to attract traffic. Your new clickbait news flashes (example: “Sweden has a problem with hand grenades, here is why”) destroys the quality of previous notifications and are bothersome. If you don’t come back to your senses I’ll remove notifications altogether.

I really dislike Euronews . Every single time I open Euronews , the load screen appears then closes Euronews . I then click on Euronews again, it goes through a waste of 20 seconds to display images of no interest before the menu appears.
And the menu is only different languages, so again a waste of our time. Generally one person will listen to the same language every time!

I loved Euronews until today. Trying to read two important stories that were blocked by an ad. No place to close it and no sign it would time out and disappear. I ended up clicking it and reopening to finish story. I dont like being forced to click on adds. I now know ill see that same ad everywhere. Hope you fix it. If not ill read my news elsewhere

Euronews cuts off the bottom part of news articles so you can’t read to the end. Super frustrating

Why isn’t it possible to read the news on Euronews in portrait mode? Please make a setting for the display, at least. I like the content of the paper, but just cannot read it as it is.

My solution: I deleted Euronews and put a link to the this app website in its place. Same content, but by reading it in Safari I can have the orientation I like.

But I must add that this app offers an amazing selection of languages (12 all together) in which to read the news. This is unique among news sites as far as I know.

There’s no option for dark mode making Euronews difficult to read at night or early morning.

good to have non Anglo point of View when reading world news. App functionality is OK. Would like more options to increase Font sizes

Unfortunately the Regime censoring the news from application which talk about against their power or ideas!!! If I wanna read or watch those specific news I have to use proxy. Please do something about it. In the end everything else are just fine👍🏼

Thanks, I missed the coverage I get from Europe that frequently doesn’t make it to other news wires.

This is a very good, simple news app without a lot of nonsensical features or obtrusive adverts. Coverage is tight and frequently includes video clips.

I hope the recent NBC Universal purchase of a 25% stake in this app doesn’t ruin it, but I fear it’s days are numbered. Plans are to integrate it into NBC news. Enjoy it while you can.

PLEASE PLEASE transfer the rat face commentator with his difficult to understand presentations at the cube... sometimes also at the news

As a person who has traveled & lived in many places throughout Europe, the Balkans, & the Middle East, this is a great app to stay abreast of what’s happening Internationally.

I would like for it to be easier to use Euronews in multiple languages (such as by having articles and videos in multiple languages within the news feed simultaneously). Also, it would be great if some technical issues could be fixed. For instance, sometimes the topics section has trouble loading, and when I click on a headline, sometimes a different article appears.

There is something wrong with the sharing system; whenever i share an article, something else is sent to my contacts. I’m using Persian interface.
