Completely junk app that doesn’t work properly half the time (can’t view or send comments, stories won’t open, says I’m not connected to the internet when I’m on WiFi or regular data and it makes the volume on my iPhone go up and down as I attempt to browse stories. Not to mention the horrible propaganda, so much bs it’s ridiculous. Just look at the crazy headlines on NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo Store pictures. Fn disgusting.

Edit: Now at this point they give me nothing but sports news when I NEVER search for sports. I have blocked the sports news providers and they still give me the same stories I blocked. Also a good 80% of the time it tells me no new news, I have followed numerous providers so I know that is bs. YOUR TRASH APP IS BROKEN... FIX IT. Never mind you just got deleted off my phone.

I use NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo a lot, much more than other news apps. I peruse the headlines and only open those articles that interest me at the time, which changes frequently. I like the ability to tell them less material about a particular subject or particular author.

I’m a DC/DMV commuter and read from NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo a lot. But recently I have been plagued with videos constantly auto-playing when trying to read articles. I’ve checked that video auto-play is turned of in my phone settings as well as in the settings of NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo and it still continues. That is so nerve wrecking I have to close NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo and just give up on reading. But like I said, I like NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo for the most part.

Was literally my favorite and most used app. After GDRP, nearly every story I click on asks for an accept button click with half the screen covered... or the button is not able to be pressed. Furthermore, app devs have not made these decisions persistent, which means it asks for every. Single. Story. Ever. From the sites that ask. Very poor user interaction at this point. I shared it with probably 50 people, and every one who I have spoken with about it has the same problem. :( Sorry News Republic. I loved ya but now gotta leave ya.

NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo is good and has a lot of articles to choose from whatever your preference is. Definitely like how it updates and shows new articles every five minutes. The only problems i have is many articles are from like two years ago and some of the article’s pictures are of the subject and some are random pics that have no resemblance to what you are reading.
Example: an article about Jurassic World review and theres a picture of Abe Lincoln lol

NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo seems promising...

However, as a new user with no following channels set yet, I appear to be receiving initial notification showing a large amount of notices of no significance (i.e. a lot of see Instagram post pictures x type notices rather’s than any actual news or topics of interest). I would expect a new user to be give up front follow channel settings and/or set default no follow context more news oriented initial content.

The news are getting better now on News republic! Happy to see some change and improvement after half a year! Please continue to bring high quality feeds!

I have been using NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo for about 4-5 years and has been great. Since the last update I thought somebody hijacked NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo because the GUI changed from a very well organized articles to something looks like a high school student class project. They also got rid of tablet support so you can not use your tablet to sit at a night stand or table to read anymore since there is no orientation support. What NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo is lacking now I found available in an app called News360.

The variety of news stories and excellent quality of reporting of news from around the world is what makes this a desirable news station.

Decent app but only gives you portions of the articles and then when you click to read the original post, thinking you’ll get the full article, it’s nothing more than what you’ve already read. Wish they would post the entire article instead of just being a tease!

Great app ! Sometimes confused as to how this service can offer so much more news than other news platforms

Done everything to make NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo work. Been fine for over a year and the bugs started. Open an article, entire app closes. Favorite sites gone, like the horoscopes.
Reloaded the improved app today and will not update. Stuck on 4/9/18 news and events. Sadly, NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo will be deleted and in search of a comparable app that is reliable. Even powered off my IPad, nothing helps.

We choose our own news,throw in sports, and our gadgets we love, there is nothing I can think of that’s missing

This was my #1 go to App for news but I suddenly don’t have my favorites anymore and I can’t search for the topics I’ve enjoyed getting my news from either. This is very disappointing. I’ll be using other apps for news now. Frustrating...I always talked up News Republic to friends, hopefully they get back to what they were in the past.

Was a great app. Now as i move between articles the iphone volume screen keeps popping up. Also problems when going to read source and share link. It locks up NewsRepublicWorldNewsVideo
