After downloading TeachMeSpanish and swiping between the opening intro pages, TeachMeSpanish wouldn’t load past the “subscribe” page, even though I tried subscribing multiple times. I kept deleting and retrying, to no avail.

I downloaded and installed it and it just sits on a screen with the title “TeachMe” in the middle. No menu; nothing happens.

TeachMeSpanish is a paid service. There are 2 issues with this:
1) Immediately after opening TeachMeSpanish for the first time, you are offered a 1 week FREE trial. Upon agreeing to the FREE trial, they IMMEDIATELY charge you. This is not “free” or a “trial”. You pay immediately. This is fraudulent. I am reporting this to Apple.
2) The weekly fee is $4.99. However, if you go to your Apple subscriptions, there is a much cheaper $2.99/ month option for the exact same thing.
Scummy. Disgusting. Do not trust this developer.

This was just what I was looking so downloaded it. THEN saw it’s a monthly subscription of $10!? For flash cards? Immediately deleted app.
Want my business? Offer a one-time charge for a set of basic vocabulary flash cards.(10 thousand words seems the base number for fluency in most languages.)Stagger the price based on the number of words for advanced proficiency or specific jargon for a professional needs perhaps.

A good vocabulary app. You receive a wide variety of words which you get to read and which are spoken to you. There are four modes: study, random, test and flash card. In study mode you get to chose your words and can indicate which words you are working on with a check mark. This makes it easy to create an custom study list. In random, test and flash card mode - TeachMeSpanish chooses the words for you. This also a good way to learn new words. This is a free app and a great way to enhance your Spanish.

This is very good way to learn many many spanish words! The dictionnary is very complete and useful because you can look for specific words and learn how to say it. Flashcards are a good way to memorize words :)

Great selection of words to learn. Nice layout with lots of information to get started. Testing is easy to go through selections of words you have reviewed. Wonderful starter app for anybody trying to learn spanish on their own. Robotic voice is clear and precise when volume is turned up.
