Voice Texting Pro Reviews

I don't understand the purpose of VoiceTextingPro. It's no better at voice recognition than my iPhone's built-in voice dictation function (which, for those millions who don't understand the fact, is not Siri. Siri responds to commands and requests, but she doesn't take voice dictation. Voice Dictation takes voice dictation. You invoke Siri with your home button; you invoke Voice Dictation with the microphone button on the keyboard).

Anyway, as I say, VoiceTextingPro is no better at recognizing what I say than Voice Dictation is, and it might be worse at it (try dictating the word "temptation" for example; neither VoiceTextingPro nor Voice Dictation will get it right.) Also, VoiceTextingPro's "erase" button has an icon (is that a paintbrush?) that doesn't make it clear what it is, and you only find out what it is once you deleted your entire message. Hopefully after you've done that once you'll remember, but there should still be some kind of confirmation dialog asking you if you're sure you want to delete everything you just dictated.

Add to all this the fact that, by using VoiceTextingPro, you're probably sending your voice dictation to yet another remote place to be interpreted, thereby reducing still further what little privacy you already have, and the case against using VoiceTextingPro becomes very strong indeed.

Your product was the best on the market. Now, you’re adding on “a huge screen” of advertising material which covers 85% and 80% of the cell phone screen when user opens VoiceTextingPro , it makes your product not attractive, difficult to use, it becoming a nuisance when trying to use your app. I believe you can compromise your commercial needs and the end-user needs by making the commercial screen half of the size, this way, the use can enjoy the advertising information, at the same time using your product. Then you’ll get five star NPS from me.

I was concerned about what the error rate would be with VoiceTextingPro. Silly me. It's uncanny how well it gets me. I rarely need to make a correction. After awhile I even added punctuation by verbal command such as question mark, comma, exclamation point etc. and VoiceTextingPro got that as well. All without needing a plug in or blue tooth microphone. I just hold my phone about a foot away and speak normally. Bravo and much thanks for an app that does what's expected and then some.

When I first got this I figured it was just another text to speech. But this works a hundred percent better than the dictation from my iPhone.. The other good feature is that you can send your text either to an email. Or do what I'm doing copy and paste. I highly recommend it. And it's at a great price..

Finally, a voice texted option for my IPhone XS MAX. I'm so glad to have a texting option that can recognize my voice and not make stupid mistakes.

I have found my only disappointment with IPhone, coming from Samsung S10, is the poor voice texting app with Messages

I use on dating web-sites to communicate with words and include pictures. Using voice texting makes it so much easier than typing out everything! But it's not perfect because sometimes my pronunciation is not understood and I get the wrong word. Recommend using it.

Almost as good as the dragon software word to text technology.

My hands don't work so well, so voice to text is very helpful. This allows easy transfer of text to other apps and seems to understand me very well. Any complaints you may see are either very specific to that user or just petty nonsense

I was looking for an app that would expedite my texting experienc. I was spending a lot of time typing my texts to the point it was intefering with my work. That's no longer a problem. VoiceTextingPro is as advertised. Highly recommend!

Of apps I have purchased, this is most valuable. It has excellent accuracy. Misses at most 2 words in a page. Very important for an old school worker who is not a great typist on tiny keyboards.

Was a great app until recently when ads keep popping up not allowing you to continue until you tap the button to get back to VoiceTextingPro . Very annoying when trying to communicate with my deaf 91 yr old mother.

Should’ve read the reviews before I downloaded VoiceTextingPro the majority of them are from 4 to 9 years ago! VoiceTextingPro is useless as you get ads in your face while trying to use it and there’s no way to upgrade to get rid of them. Plus it does the same thing Apple offers through their texting app and operates about the same.

I would’ve liked to try VoiceTextingPro but the constant ads covering the function buttons would not allow me to even see them. On sheer principal I will not purchase it. If it were worth it by giving it a test run I may have upgraded but I can't stand being manipulated by bullying type marketing.

One time only no more not less at all. Should be good pay one ☝️ time for lifetime no more. I will not think 💭 about this until is one time. Not monthly failure. Just one ☝️ time only.

Solved the one problem with Siri for dictation, the tiny button to activate it!

Works great. My microphone and Siri doesn't work so I use this all the time.

This a great app. I use it to complete work requirements that can be copied and paste into my work computer.

This is a great app. It is even better than Apple's dictation feature that appears next to the space bar when the keyboard appears. Sure you might need to do some editing, but it is truly the best dictation app that I've ever found. I am actually using VoiceTextingPro to dictate this Review. This is a bit of a surprise, most of the time apps that are labeled "Pro" are paid. It does pretty good for not being paid. And the iPhone 4 does not have a dictation feature, so this really helps..

Simply open VoiceTextingPro , click the microphone icon, and talk. Only two options makes it easy to setup. When done speaking click the destination icon (E-Maii, Twitter, facebook, etc.) and the text is entered. It seems fairly accurate- more than a lot of my typing. It does do better in a quiet room, and a quality microphone would probably also improve accuracy. A bit of annuciation as well. But for quick notes, e-mail, etc., it is a lot more convinient than thumb typing, particularly on the iPod or iphone if you have big hands like mine.

This is a rather sad app. For one thing, it puts punctuation after an exclamation point and a question mark; we all know that a period doesn't follow ending punctuation marks.
It gives you a very limited time to speak (about 23 seconds), you have to pay to have ads removed from VoiceTextingPro , and it censors out profanity with no ability to modify settings.
Finally, I see no way to contact the programmers to address these, or any other issues.
However, I will give it kudos for understanding what I'm saying, and I like the way it repeats what I said.
What app is available for speech to text perfection? Well, I guess I'll have to keep looking. For something that really works, I don't mind paying to have it. Isn't someone taking the lead on this important technology?

I love voice texting pro, so far it's the best out of the 3 that I've downloaded, including 1 that I paid for. the other apps don't allow me to use it at work because of the URL restrictions. however, voice texting pro allows me to use VoiceTextingPro anywhere at anytime. 1 quick hint, if you have a long message, construct the message in pieces by stopping in pausing. Lastly, VoiceTextingPro is especially helpful while dealing with carpal tunnel. In fact I used voice texting pro to write this review.
